I was not happy with the Room Very Small and we had a Family with 3 kids Only one Bar of Soap . won't be goping back.

Booked this hotel from the road about 4 hrs away using the iPad app. Somehow the date was set to 2013 and the reservation was for next year without realizing it. I was using today! The front desk noticed the error. I re booked and had to wait 30 min for it to go through. All was well. I don't know how starved rock state park got in the name, but it […] was near the interstate. Stayed one night.. Moderately priced.. No complaints.. Would stay again

The overall stay was ok. The staff was a little disconnected but it may have just been a cultural difference. Nothing fancy or anything to wow us. I think the price was a little high for what you get but ok. The coffee is very weak! In the room and at the breakfast area.

We ended up at this hotel by accident. Originally, we made reservations at Spring Valley Inn, due to budget reasons while on our Starved Rock visit, to only leave running right when we got there, for Spring Valley was nothing like what we were quoted. I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was nice in the morning, however, I wish it had a hot portion. The hottub was nice, but i thought the room where they were located was cold.

Requested non-smoking room, but smokew residue was evident

It's pretty much what we expected. A lower end place to stay for the night. The bed was a bit lumpy, the "non-smoking" room smelled like smoke and had two ashtrays by the ice bucket, and there were cigarette burns in the blanket. It had a working AC unit and was for the most part clean though (except the smoke smell in the room), and the hallways smelled […] clean enough. Since they were booked out though, we weren't able to switch rooms. Also, it is off the highway and close to the Target and a bunch of restaurants. It was a great hotel and very clean. This was the first time we had our dog with us. She enjoyed her stay as well. It was a small pool, but my kids still enjoyed themselves. The breakfast was good but very crowded.

THE DESK PEOPLE WERE VERY HELPFOL AND DID ANYTHING THEY COULD TO MAKE YOUR STAY A GREAT ONE

We stayed here after reading the reviews online and the only issue we had was with a dirty blanket on the bed. It was just 5 - 10 min from Starved Rock and across the parking lot from a shopping mall and quite a few restaurants. We were able to pick up swim suits and enjoy the pool during our visit. Our stay at La Quinta in LaSalle, Illinois was pleasant. The front counter staff was very friendly and helpfull. The overall appearance of the hotel was well kept and clean. The pool area could have been swept more often. Our room was clean except for the carpet that apppeared to have been shampooed recently. We actually stayed at the hotel for the Murel Mushroom Festival in Ottawa, IL. The drive to the hotel was only 15 minutes away, and it was in a slightly more populated area then the festival was. The location was great, right off the main road, and you could easily walk (or drive) to food and target. The rooms were clean and quiet and the beds were […] comfortable. The floors in the lobby and hallway were being renovated which was a little sloppy looking. The hot tub was filled but the water was cold; the heater was broken. I'm sure they will replace it, it was just inconvenient at the time because we were looking forward to the hot tub. Overall it was a really nice hotel in a nice location.
