My only concern is that, I just booked the hotel seeing those beautiful pictures, Stone works, Fire place, jacuuzi bath tub, Cafetria, Reception etc...None of the above existed in the hotel as seen in picture !!! Could have been fair in projecting what they are and how it appears.

The room was very clean, location was great. The only problem the lady at the desk was not very friendly, just seemed standoffish.

Not very satisified. The room was not comfortable. The bathroom needed cleaning and the the bathroom ceiling had a leak. We had to turn off the lights to change clothes because the curtains would not close all the way. Will not be returning.

The front desk staff was courteous. The air did not work un the room. The beds were horrible. Mattresses were worn out. The listing said there was a microwave and coffee pot in the room. Kept clean but older motel. Expected a nicer property for price paid.

The hotel claims that WIFI service is enabled for each apartment but there was no internet services in the room. When we asked for internet, they said their service maintenance guy has left for the day and router might be down. This place needs renovation. All the ice machines were broken. The morning staff was rude and the breakfast bar was not stocked or clean. The room was not clean. Bathrooms in lobby were broken and not in service. We were really disappointed with this HOJO. First time at a HOJO, and probably our last.

Last min. plans to go to Gatlinburg 1 night before our Wilderness at the Smokeys vacation, found Howard Johnsons on Expedia and Hotels.com at a very affordable rate on my tight budget decided to try it...It was great! The hotel was clean, rooms were clean, staff was so nice and within walking distance to all of Gatlinburg! The rate was great for the 10 hours we were actually in the room. It is in a good location (walking distance to stores and attractions in Gatlinburg) and the beds were comfortable. This hotel was in a really great location. The trolleys ride directly past it. The room was clean and the hotel staff was very friendly understanding and nice. we had a minor problem but we called the front desk and they fixed it immediately. Overall great stay.

I was very disappointed in my family's stay, we got 2 rooms and had so many problems and when I called the front desk I was informed that maintenance would come when they had time and that the rooms you see on line are not always what you get. Good location, but poorly trained staff and the room was shabby and in need of updates. Lots of stains on carpet, bathroom dirty, shower had mold spots.

Only stayed for a night, but room was clean, beds comfortable, hotel was close to the walking strip, had to walk uphill to the room, but that was fine with us, and the continental breakfast was satisfactory, did not get a chance to try out workout room, but it looked really nice.

Great Hotel, within walking distance to the strip and close to all the Ripley's attractions.

We thought this hotel was ok. the toliet was slow to flush and alarm clock broke, but no big deal. the breakfast was good and in a great location. we walked up and down the strip with no problem. we would definatly return.

Hotel/rooms were dated, but clean. Walls are not very sound proof, can hear normal conversations easily. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Easy walk distance to most attractions. No complaints considering cost payed.

The hotel was close to the main strip (within waking distance). The staff was very courteous and willing to help us when we arrived one day early. Only good things to say about this place. Would definately stay again!

First day killed a bug on the door. The door doesn't have a complete seal with the wall, so all the air blows through the door crack. Old style TV's, glad it was atleast color. Had an iron burned mark next the sinks, but over all it was comfortable.

I USUALLY DONT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HOTELS WE STAY AT UNLESS THERE IS A LEGIT REASON. THE LOCATION OF THIS HOTEL WAS CONVENIENT, BUT WHEN WE GOT TO THE ROOM THE FLOOR HADNT BEEN VACUUMED AT ALL, THERE WAS LINT AND TRASH EVERYWHERE FROM THE LAST PEOPLE THAT STAYED THERE. IT WAS A NON SMOKING ROOM, BUT HAD A CIGARETTE BURN ON THE NIGHTSTAND. THE BATHTUB […] DIDNT JUST LEAK FROM THE FAUCET, BUT HAD A STREAM. THE TIMER ON THE HEATER IN THE BATHROOM DIDNT WORK, IT STAYED ON AND THATS A FIRE HAZARD. WE NEEDED SOME ICE, BUT THE ICE MACHINE DIDNT WORK. I GOT THIRSTY SO I WENT TO THE PEPSI MACHINE TO GET A DRINK, NOT!, IT DIDNT WORK EITHER. TRIED TO PLUG IN THE HAIRDRYER THAT WAS SUPPLIED AND THE PLUG WOULDNT STAY IN THE OUTLET BECAUSE THE OUTLET WAS SO WORN OUT. THERE WERE SERIOUS MAINTENANCE ISSUES WITH THIS ROOM, IT MAY HAVE BEEN JUST THAT ROOM. I WAS GOING TO GET ON THE INTERNET USING THE FREE IN ROOM WIFI TO LOOK FOR SOME PLACES TO GO. MY LAPTOP PICKED UP EVERY HOTELS WIFI BUT OURS, SO I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND HE SAID THERE IS SO MANY PEOPLE THERE AND THATS PROBABLY WHY IT DIDNT WORK. I TOLD HIM I COULD PICK EVERYONE ELSES WIFI BUT WE DIDNT HAVE ANY PASSWORDS SO I COULDNT USE THEM, THEN HE TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO COME THE LOBBY, IT MIGHT WORK THERE. WE BOOKED 3 NIGHTS, BUT WE LEFT A DAY EARLY AND LET THEM HAVE THE LAST NIGHTS CHARGE. WHEN WE WERE LEAVING I NOTICED THE FIRE EVACUATION ROUTE BY THE DOOR HAD STATED A DIFFERENT ROOM NUMBER THAN THE ROOM WAS, THATS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL, BUT WHERE I WORK IT WOULD BE. THIS WAS A MINI VACATION FOR MY FAMILY AND I FOR NEW YEARS CELEBRATION, AND IT WAS A GREAT LOCATION FOR THAT PURPOSE, BUT THESE THINGS NEED TO BE ADDRESSED. 더 보기

We had a great stay! Close to all area amenities!

If you are simply looking for a place to rest your weary head and shower off, this is a good place. Otherwise get something on River Road or closer to Ober Gatlinburg. The a/c unit made a loud noise, faucet dripped, and low water pressure. Beds pretty comfortable and room was clean.

This hotel is in a really great location! we hardly ever used our car the whole week. We could walk to anything. The area of the hotel we were staying in was a nice location, but if you needed wiyfi...your were out of luck. You could catch it if you stood outside, in the same place and for at least twenty minutes just to connect. The walls were a little […] too thin. We could someone flush the toilet everytime, or when they coughed. The Bathtub looked like it had been used too many times and there was hardly any space to move in the bathroom itself. During their complimentary breakfast; you had to wait for a good ten to thrity minutes to get a waffle, there was no eggs or bacon, and the fruit sections the greatest either...rediculious! Nice clean hotel. Very nice hotel employees.

It is out dated and needs to be renovated. Had problems with the plumbing, tv remote, and no internet. Good location if you like to walk.

Our 1st room was a total mess. The entrance door had been kicked in and the front door wouldn't secure. A large iron burn mark in the floor. Rifrigerator door wouldn't open because of the carpet. Shower head dangling down and drain was stopped up. Flushed the toilet and wow, it overflowed. I went to the front lobby, raised some heck, then got upgraded […] to a jacuzzi suite. At first, the room seemed nicer. Then, the A/C wouldn't work and the shower drain was stopped up. When it came time to try out the jacuzzi, the jets barely put out any pressure. It felt like someone was blowing into the water with a drinking straw. Ohhh, more burn marks from an iron in the carpet. This hotel is not nice. It's two separate buildings up a large hill and the buildings have no elevators (not kid-friendly). Room was sub-par and outdated.

We had to stay in Gatlinburg over Thanksgiving 2011 for a football tournament. This hotel was close to all the attractions and the High School field. Nothing fancy, just a decent room for a great price and excellent location!

The room was clean and comfortable. Our 1st night our hotel was on fire.My mother was gotten out ok ,she said she she never heard any fire alarms.S he was alerted by someone banging on the door. We arrived as fire trucks were leaving. (A guest caught the couch on fire.) First day, luke warm water. Second day, no water at all until 9:00am. (troubles with pilot light fixed) Next two days were uneventful. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was nice, room was clean and comfy.

Hotel was old, but clean & the location was out of the congestion of the Main Drag In Gatlinburg. Staff was very helpful & friendly. Beds were very comfortable.

The place is a dump. No internet--no matter what they say.... ALL carb breakfast. Cheap. Needs to be worked on. Would give those bedspreads to my dog--or throw them out. A disgrace.

I booked this hotel b.c of the fact it had a pancake house in it. We arrived to find it is now a gym. So instead of having a nice breakfast and not worry about paying to park. We had to drive around to find somewhere to eat breakfast every morning. Very pleased with hotel for the price, expecially on a Saturday night. The complimentary breakfast was more than I expected, and a very pleasant and solicitous lady was on duty there.

Room had old carpet. Showed every piece of dirt and lint .Looked like it had not been vacumed! Overall not a very bad place for the price. Very convenient to attractions.
