The shuttle service to Mall of America was great. My daughter loved the pool and the room was clean and comfortable. We sheets for the hide a bed weren't in the closet, but they were sent up promptly when we called and asked for them. We didn't get up in time for the breakfast so can't rate that but the staff was friendly and we were really impressed […] that we really couldn't hear through the walls. My husband was watching tv in the bedroom while we watched another show in the living room area of the suite and we couldn't hear his tv at all or any other guests while we were in the room. The only negative was we had a hard time finding the hotel in the dark, it is behind another hotel and the front entrance is not marked very well so we didn't know what door to go in. I was pleased with the rate we got from hotels.com, so chose the Residence Inn for the convenience of having a separate bedroom (we have a preschooler who goes to bed earlier than the adults). The location isn't bad, near the Mall of America, though a bit roundabout to get to off the highway and in a not so attractive part of the city. Overall, service […] was fine. Our check-in clerk was friendly and helpful, though other desk staff seemed inconvenienced when we purchased items from the convenience section (food and drinks). When animated guests were too loud on the patio after 10pm, customer service handled the situation promptly so we could sleep in silence. What bothered us primarily was the condition of the room. At first glance, the modern decor is inviting, but two lamp plugs were broken and unusable in the living area, one bulb in the bedroom (of just two dim lamps) was broken, and the bathroom light took more than 30 seconds to light and then flickered the entire time it was on. All the doors creaked loud enough so that just trying to open a bathroom door in the bedroom woke my daughter in the living area. The room was dusty - the phone was covered in grundgy residue of some sort. Perhaps those aren't used now that people have cell phones but my brief call about the outside noise left me having to wash my hands. Sadly the bed was less comfortable than the pull-out sofa, which surprised me as I usually enjoy sleeping in Marriott beds. Linens were clean and the bed well-made, however. The hotel was generally clean and kept up, so the room was a disappointment. With a good scrubbing and minor repairs, it would have been a decent night at the Residence Inn. We probably won't stay at this hotel again. 더 보기

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! It was very clean, the staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was very well done with lots of options. It is very close to the Mall of America with free shuttles on the hour and my kids enjoyed the basketball court outside when they got bored. It is also very close to some good restaurants. The […] only complaint I had was that the hot tub had so many chemicals in it, it made my eyes burn. Other than that it was a GREAT stay at a great price. Highly recommended! 더 보기

The hotel and stay were overall wonderful. The lady who checked us in did not seem welcoming. I waited and waited for someone to come to the front desk and then went to the room where the housekeeping was and asked for help. Then I book on expedia I guess and she was not happy with that because I was not aware of a dog fee. Everyone else was very nice […] and my 7year old downs son love the pool. 더 보기

As a mom of 4 little ones, this hotel was a true haven. Though we only had our youngest with us, I would definitely use this as our hotel of choice with the whole family. I was able to prepare our favorite meals in room to save on costs and looked forward to the continental breakfast buffet each morning. Thank you for a delightful stay!

The place was great except for the toilet. It's a pressurized model that had some issues. Had to hold the handle down about 5 seconds before it had enough pressure to flush. It was more like starting an old truck.

Reasonable rate and good quality service. Hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was wonderful! Good hotel transportation to and from Mall of America. Rooms are ideal for family travel with full kitchen. Good way to safe money on food.

This is the first time we stayed at a Marriott property and after our experience we will remain with the other two hotel chains that we typically use. Upon landing at the airport we waited over an hour (1 hour and 13 minutes to be exact) for the shuttle to pick us up, and this with three separate phone calls clarifying location with assurances that […] the driver was only "...10 minutes away." It is important to note that the hotel is only two miles from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were given a room that was formerly a smoking room, though billed as non-smoking. Though they were quick to relocate us, it added to an already unpleasant start to our stay. Thhe Front Desk associate was apologetic, but after a long day of travel, 73 minutes of waiting, a smoke-room and subsequent relocation to a new room, it seems to me a more tangible apology in the form of discount vouchers or meal vouchers was definitely warranted. Out of fairness, once settled in a truly non-smoking room it was clean and spacious. As the title suggests, all things considered, for the price we will return to our preferred two hotel chains since in our recent travels (approximately four years) we have not been disappointed and when we have, the hotels were quick to make it right. All things considered, pass on this hotel and find a different hotel. There are many in the area for compartive prices. 더 보기

This hotel was more than we expected..with a full kitchen/island..separate bath/sink...large living area with pullout couch. Close to IKEA and MOA and shuttles available. Great stay..we'll be back!

This was our first experiment to have our Christmas family gathering at a hotel as an alternative to grandpa's home since he is aging at 92 and no more able to host parties. We learned that the first suite (1 bedroom) would have been too small for our group but after an upgrade to the bigger suite we were very happy

We reserved 5 rooms for a family get together. It also turned out to be the snow storm of the season in the city. Staff were wonderful and extremely helpful in getting our rooms close to each other. The breakfast choices are incredible. I would recommend this hotel to others and definitley will stay again ourselves.

The hotel was in a great location to get to the mall and Ikea. We also went to see the Minnesota Wild while we were up there and it was less than a 20 minute drive. We also went to the zoo and again it was less than a 20 minutes drive to get anywhere. There were plenty of restaurants near by as well as a Wal-Mart so we were able to get a few things […] we forgot. The hotel was pretty nice and the staff was friendly, They also had a nice pool area that we used more than once. Overall it was a pretty nice place to stay and convenient. 더 보기

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The full breakfast was awesome. It was not just cereal and toast like some hotels have that claim they have a full breakfast. They had ample portions of fruit, pastries, eggs, ham, hash browns, toast, etc. The kitchen in our room was nice to have as well. No complaints!

Everyone that worked at the hotel were friendly. The rooms were clean and I really liked having the shuttle to use to go back and forth to the Mall of America. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Our hotel suite w/ 1 Queen bed and pull-out couch was a great price for the location and roomy enough for all 3 of us on our shopping weekend. Nice kitchen w/ all of the furnishings was included. A nice perk in a hotel room. Small bathroom, but good-sized closet, bathroom sink area, and sitting area. We loved the nice kitchen with pots, pans and utensils included! The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and you can't beat the location!

During our annual pilgramage to the Mall of America, we stayed at this hotel for the first time. It really exceeded our expectation. It cost less than any of the other hotels in the area, many of which we have stayed at in the past. Our suite was large, the kitchen was a real bonus, the internet was free, the pool and hot tub were fine, the work out […] room was fine, and the staff was great. They were able to accomodate our schedule by holding off on room cleaning until after noon, whereas in many hotels if you wait that long the house cleaning staff is gone for the day. Our room was outstanding. The ladies at the front desk called me by my first name throughout my stay and provided us with coupons for local attractions. The shuttle was super convenient and always on time. The pool and hot tub were a welcome treat. The restaurant next door (Jake's) offered kids meals for under $5 including a drink. Our room was great for two couples, a bedroom & bath on each side of a kitchen/sitting room. The rate was much less then two rooms.

very clean and close to MOA. Easy to get out to interstate to travel elsewhere in the cities. will recommend my friends to stay there the next all girls long weekend shopping trip..

Some of the staff weren't very nice when we asked simple questions. Some were. None of the staff seemed to know anything about the area or how to get places. Had a hard time with directions and trying to find out info on near by attractions. Hotel was very clean and very presentable, but I base a good vacation on customer service.

Out stay at the Residence Inn was completely satisfactory. The full breakfast is a nice features. The king bed was very comfortable, and having the kitchen area is a nice plus. Easy access to the interstate and Mall of America is great.

We had a wonderful stay. It started out with a wonderful welcome by the front desk and housekeeping and just got better from there! Very nice room that was well worth the money we paid. Thank you!
