When I got to the motel @ around 7pm, they did not have my reservation in file; so they had me wait in the lobby while they sort it out. After they've all sort it out and had me checked in; they told me to not use the water when I get to the room because their water pipe bursted and they were fixing it still. Bed was huge but the pillows were way too soft and almost lumpy. The motel was an extended stay type of place; so there were tons of people walking around and children playing around the halls. One employee of the hotel went out of her way to tell us about all sights, parks, shopping, restaurants, etc. there is to do in the area. We were elated with her and would be more than happy to stay at this average hotel agai...with such great servic, making it seem like we were staying at the Ritz! If you are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel experience, you better pass on the Super 8. If you want a room for a good price with a good location, you can't go wrong with this hotel.

This hotel was great for the value and the staff friendly and helpful. Location was important for us and it provided easy access to the surrounding highways which was key. It was also located close to great shopping and eating as well. My family and I were on the way back from WI and reserved our room online while on the way. When we got there the reservation was there and we were in the room within minutes. The staff was curtious. The hotel location was right off of I-35, easy access. Very close to Sam's, two huge malls and several smaller shopping centers.. The room was clean and maintained...everything worked... Now the downside: We were assigned a room on the third floor, no elevator...We did not know when we booked the room that the hotel was also booked by three teenage […] baseball teams. IT WAS NOISY. DOORS SLAMMING, GUYS RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE HALLS AND STEPS... HOLLERING AT EACH OTHER...Finally got quiet around 11PM... If and when I use a booking service, I am going to attempt to find out who else is staying at the facility...I was in KC for business, not pleasure. This hotel is not super nice, but for the price, it was well worth it. It took the A/C awhile to get going, but after it did, the room was comfortable.

If you want a bed, TV, and bathroom for a brief stay this works just fine. It isn't anything special but it was the cheapest available and it was clean. The check-in took 5 minutes and the check-out took 30 seconds. The location is near a major mall and right off I-35 so it was pretty convenient for the Overland Park/Olathe area. We got a really good price on the room for booking in advance online. The room was actually pretty clean and for the 4 days that we stayed there, the cleaning service came in and cleaned everyday. The breakfast choices were not much to choose from but it came in handy & it was free. Great place for the amount of money paid. Lots of good places to eat.

Room was clean,checkin fast and friendly. Bed was hard as a rock but most hotel beds are. No elevator but only 3 floors. Quiet at night.

The hotel roomm was very clean and it had everything you needed: TV, microwave, little refrigerator, ironing board/iron and a nice recliner.

This was an okay hotel, but a little pricey considering the lack of amenities. Walls were very thin making it seem noisy. It was clean and comfortable overall.

Room smelled, did nor feel comfortable with the cleanliness at all. There was something I chice not to identify on the chair. Bed was bas and the pillows worse. All-in-all a pretty unpleasant experience.

The room was very clean and the level of service was great. Each night I arrived back at the hotel and had to be let in since my room card key wouldn't work on the front door. Poor maintenance. The property smells as soon as you walk in. The rooms also smell. It is very dark and the first floor is partially underground. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The only inconvenient thing was that the room service/cleaning person came around at 8am, when you're staying at a hotel a couple days I think that's a little early for someone to come knocking on your door, but understandably we didn't have the do not disturb sign hanging on the door. The room was […] a bit small for everything that was in it like the safe, table, chairs, desk, refrigerator and dresser, plus the two full size beds. The room was right next to the stairwell so this could have something to do with it, but maybe they should have made that room into a storage room or just have a single bed in it instead of two full size beds. The only thing that bothered me about the room besides the size of the room was the size of the bathroom, there wasn't really a lot of counter space around the sink and it looked like it needed to be remodeled or cleaned better. No guest laundry was a little bit of a letdown, and the non-smoking room smelled like smoke. But overall, it was a good room for the money, and the breakfast was great.

This is a good deal if you just need a basic hotel room for the a night or two. The rooms on the back side are quiet and you're about 100 yards from a McDonalds for breakfast on the run.....
