The hotel location and facilities were fine for our purpose. We needed a place to sleep for just one night in Williamsburg for a school event and this worked out perfectly.

Hotel looks great from outside and neighborhood is nice and convenient. Our room however, was on the 1st floor and near the stairs. Not optimal location for sleeping. Our neighbors upstairs were VERY noisy. Also our room was non-smoking and obviously smelled of smoke. Our family stayed here over Christmas for several days. We found it to be clean and friendly. Breakfast was fine. we did not use the pool but the location was great for both Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. For the price it met our expectations and more.

I was very impressed with the hotel. The maid service there was excellent. Our room always smelled fresh and clean. Our sheets were changed daily.I'm a neat and germ freak and they met my expectations. Also the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I know some people complained about the breakfast. I personally can't complain about anything that […] is ever free.However if your one of those people that doesn't like waffles, cold cereal or biscuits & gravy. Then I wouldn't eat at this breakfast but your in luck because there is a Cracker Barrel & Golden Coral in the same parking lot. The only con about this hotel is that the rooms are on the small size but if you are like our family your using the room just to crash at night and then it's not really a problem. We come to Williamsburg the 1st wknd in December for the Grand Illumination. However this was our 1st time staying at this hotel but we definitely will stay there again next year as well. 더 보기

This was a nice hotel...but dont pay extra for queen size beds...they are fulls but you pay more for queen. Other than that it was a nice hotel in a quite area that was close to everything I needed.

this hotel is by far the nicest in this price range. it's also the newest. williamsburg is a muggy damp area, and most of the older hotels eventually have that musty smell. this is a newly built hotel. the hotel is also conveniently located to the attractions

The entrance of the hotel to the front desk was less to be desired, however, convienient, The breakfast was minimal with options, but clean. The seating area was small and some were standing to eat. The room was clean, but small. We could have stayed and Comfort suites for the same price which was right up the street, but we tried this for the first […] time. Comfort Suites has a better breakfast bar and is much roomier. Noise level was minimal and we were 5-6 miles from Bush Gardens. Great location for places to eat and for gas. Would stay there again, but will look into kore options and book earlier for better place. 더 보기

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. the room was clean with easy access. The biggest problem we encountered was no safety bars in the shower, and the bathroom door was a sliding door and was difficult to open and close.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while visiting Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestowne. The room was extremely clean, the bathroom spotless, and the overall appearance of the hotel was warm and inviting. We were greeted at the front desk by Douglas who was very friendly and helpful. Arrived late to a very friendly front desk attendant. My son and I enjoyed the accommodations and it was very close to William and Mary and Col. Williamsburg. I would stay here again. Very good deal.

Man at front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant after a tedious trip. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I stayed their with my 3 children and felt safe. There was also a golden carrol resturant in the parking lot of the hotel. Very Close to Busch Gardens and Target my favorite store! I will stay there again!

not a five star hotel, but everything you want and more for the price!!!!

I booked this hotel before I read the reviews and after reading the reviews, I was a little worried. My family's stay was very enjoyable. The hotel was very easy to find and located in walking distance to two very nice restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of pillows. We had plenty of hot water at all times of the day. The pool […] was small and became over crowded very quickly but we were there to sleep not swim, that's what Water Country was for. There were areas that needed a little repair but nothing that took away from the experience. The staff was great and helped with any needs that arose. My husband enjoys a good sit down breakfast which they do not provide but if hot waffles and boiled eggs, toast, and cereal is enough for you, you will find it there. We had a great four night stay and would recommend it to others 더 보기

We have no complaints about this motel. It is located very close to the Historic District, service was really good and the price was right.

Sleep Inn in Williamsburg,VA The worst mattrest I ever tried to sleep on!

This was my first stay at a Sleep Inn...I will definitely consider it again in the future. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very good. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure in the shower. My family enjoyed the indoor pool as well...we were pleased to find there were pool towels so we didn't have […] to use the towels from our room. There was some wear on the carpet where the desk chair had rolled, but that did not impair our ability to rest comfortably. The hotel was literally two minutes from Colonial Williamsburg and surrounded by resturants of every cuisine and price range you could hope for. We stayed here for 3 nights. They say you get what you pay for...given our rates through this website and what we got in return, I think the experience was worth far more than what we paid for. No, it's not a 5-star hotel, but it was certainly a pleasant place to stay! 더 보기

my family and i recently spent a night at this hotel,for the price paid it was a nice hotel , i did have paint chips all in the pool as a previous guest had noted but the biggest issue I had was that there was no water pressure in the shower , and also there was little hot water,but my one sticking point to me not staying here again would be no water […] pressure in the shower , i just couldnt feel clean after the splashes from the water.. 더 보기

We stayed at this hotel based on the reviews that mentioned that the rooms were clean. Though this was true for our stay as well, the rest of the hotel was disappointing. When we arrived in Williamsburg, it was over 80 degrees. The common areas in the hotel were not air conditioned. The next morning, we went to have our complementary breakfast, ( mini […] bagels,mini muffins..) and rather than turn on the air, they had a chair propping the door open to get air in the crowded room! It was very stuffy and crowded. The exercise room had nice enough equipment, but again, they did not have any air going so it made it VERY uncomfortable to exercise. The ceiling tiles in the exercise room had several water stains on them which was very unappealing. We avoided using the exercise room for the rest of our stay. The pool had several 3 to 5 foot rust stains going down the walls which was very uninviting.Becuase of this we did not use the pool at all. We did witness a pool service arrive so the positive is that atleast the pool itself was getting attention. The carpet in the lobby was tattered all along the main stairs which we noticed right upon arrival. The carpet in our room should have been replaced. It too was all tattered infront of the bathroom doorway. There was a black mark in our shower that looked like someone may have dropped something at one point but it never has had any attention to it. The bath mat was actually worn thru so that you could see the floor. Overall, we were looking forward to leaving. This was our first and last visit to a Sleep Inn. 더 보기

A well located dump. Not very clean. Sorry beds. The whole place smelled like smoke and chlorine. We are not a very picky family but actually checked out a day early and paid for a different hotel our second night. Save yourself the agony and money and book a decent place.

The Sleep Inn-Historic is located less than a mile from Colonial Williamsburg, our trip destination, so location was great. It was close to many restaurants and shopping areas, so very convenient place to stay. The only problem I had is that there was ants in our room and they did not offer to move us until 11:30 at night when the kids were already sleeping, The staff was very nice but the Manager was a total jerk!

This Sleep Inn is very convenient to Colonial Williamsburgh and other attractions in the area. This is my third or fourth time here and each time the hotel has been clean and well maintained. On this stay the hotel was full with a youth soccer tournament in town, but even with that the rooms were quiet. Breakfast was the standard waffles, pastries, […] cereal, juice and coffee. I stay one night a week in W'burg to take a class and I've hit 5-6 low budget motels since I started. All have been disappointing till now. The room is clean, comfortable, well-maintained and the staff was very pleasant. the continental breakfast is also great. I'll be staying here every Wed. for the next 14 weeks till my class is over. This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. After reading reviews of others on line I called Discover to determine where I had stayed in 2009 so I would get a "good" choice this time. Other than 2 busloads of children arriving the same night and taking over the pool, our stay was very pleasant.

a good price and adequate facilities - though room was small. Also pool was about 95 degrees, great for soaking, but not so great for kids to play in - too hot. front desk was very accommodating for needs (extra towels, blankets - bed was a bit stingy on covers). Breakfast was good and even coffee very tasty.

I went down for a wedding in Williamsburg and was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The shower was much more roomier than I expected (but turn the knob ALL the way around for hot water). The bed was actually quite comfortable. Clean, comfortable, and well kept. This is a very good spot to use as home base to see Colonial Williamsburg. We were only there for a quick stop over, but it was enjoyable. Would certainly put this on the list for future trips.

Stylish Lady at front desk really did extra to make my wife and I happy with our room. Sleep Inns are not fancy, but their usually clean; wish they didnt put bathroom sink in the bedroom though

Rooms were nice, breakfast was very good. However, indoor pool area was too hot, water was warm but the area was not air conditioned. The temp on indoor thermometer was 98 degrees. Hotel staff said they were unable to adjust temp.

The hotel staff were very attentive to our needs. The hotel overall was not "kid friendly". There was no tub in our room, only a walk in shower, so it was hard giving our toddler a bath. Also, when they brought the crib, it was very wobbly and we did not feel comfortable with it. The night attendant came up to the room and tightened all the screws, […] and it was much better. We also had an "ant problem" that we noticed the second day there. We did not have any food in the room, and when we went to the front desk, they immediately moved us to a new room across the hall. So while we had problems, the staff jumped right on it to fix them. The continental breaksfast was okay, the area to eat was very small and crowded and hard to get around with two children.
