I'm always skeptical of discount motels that sound too good to be true. This was probably one of the best disount motels that I've seen. It is dated but has been maintained very well. The lobby area is totally remodeled and new. The front desk clerk was very quick and courteous. We had reserved the two-room suite and were pleasantly surprised to find […] that we had two full rooms with two full bathrooms. They've installed parlour doors adjoining the rooms. One is the living area with a desk and the second is the bedroom with a table. There is a TV in each room and the wi-fi worked very well. The landscaping was also very nice. The only two things that I noticed that were of initial concern was that - 1) there was something sticky all over the floor of the elevator (not a good smell) and 2) our room reaked of smoke! We immediately bought a bottle of Febreze and Lysol wipes assuming that the room was dirty before inspecting (I didn't feel like complaining). However, after wiping down most of the items in the room with the wipes, I realized that there really wasn't a speck of dirt on anything. It was just the smoke smell. Again, even though everything was a little older it was all very clean. The breakfast wasn't anything of note but was perfectly fine (cereal, fruit and waffles are what I remember). Therefore, if you're looking for inexpensive but clean motel I would recommend this Travelodge. 더 보기

rooms were dirty, floors , walls and counters were filthy. Complimentary breakfasts were stale and poorly served. etc.

Rooms in the back of the hotel was right next to a railroad track and the train at 11 PM sounded like a tornado pasting thru my room! Also only 1 lamp in the room, NO toilet paper, smelled damp. At breakfast, they ran out of MILK - so no coffee or cereal available! Bad management.

Over all the hotel seemed clean. The bed and pillows were not good. The pillows were very flat and the mattress was like sleeping on the floor. The mattress seemed old. I think it is time to replace the mattresses and the pillows.

An older hotel, with a helpful and polite staff. The rooms are clean enough and a decent size. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave. The rooms are a little noisy and not insulated well (you can see daylight around the AC units) and the stairs are a little scary as they can crumble a little as you use them. This was the worst Days Inn I have ever stayed at. Water pressure surged between hot and cold. The breakfast was just coffee/juice, toast, apples & oranges. TV cable was broken.

The rooms were just repainted and are in great condition. I would recommend this - it's a budget saver in a wonderful location. Lots of restaurants and close to all the attractions.

This hotel looks decent enough from the outside but our room the shower would not come on, the box spring had exposed metal that was sharp, the table was dirty, and the bathroom door had something that resembled puke dried on it. it was disgusting and we left after the front desk didnt want to change our room.

I wouldn't be caught dead in this hotel again. It was almost humorous as we were locked out of our room numerous times over two days! By about the 5th time of being locked out, we had our kids wait in the car til we got the door opened! Bathroom floor had hair all over and we were afraid to sleep under the blankets. So dirty!

Went "Black Friday" shopping in Williamsburg, spent the weekend at Travelodge. Did not spend a whole lot of time in the hotel but it was clean, convenient, and staff was extremely helpful. I would recommend!

Rooms not very clean, mix up with reservations, rooms were all to be together and they were not. Last year when we stayed there it was nicer . and The check in clerk was rude.

Manager was very nice but the room was awful. Not clean, cobwebs, dirt behind sink faucets, carpets not vacuumed. Maid did not clean on one day. Train going by, behind room at 2 and 4am woke us up with a terrible noise. I thought it was going to come into the room.. Bottom sheet was always off bed when sleeping during the night. Old sheets..

The room specifically and the hotel in general were worn and in need of maintenance. The handle on the toilet fell off twice. The tiles surrounding the pool had obviously not been cleaned during the current season and there was debris throughout the pool. I return to Williamsburg frequently, but will not return to this Travelodge.

basically you get what you pay for with this one but the staff is willing to acomidate you if you ask for something and since we were one of the only places with power after "IRENE" we were better off then most breakfast was good if you got there before it ended and held you over for the morning. If you want a super clean bathroom bring your own cleaning […] supplies and if you don't care for basic blankets or pillows bring your own (which is what we did) so all in all we were satisfied with the hotel for what it was I don't think any one is much better than another within the price range so choose the location you want to be near we like where this is located and the outside room acess rather then walking through halls etc with all your i need to bring "stuff" ....mom of 3 long island 더 보기

One of the worst hotels ever, I would not recommend any one to go no matter how cheap it is. The first day we had to change rooms 3x. No we are not picky, but the first room had no working lights in the bathroom, the second room had the toilet clogged and had mold in the shower(we had not used it yet). This hotel was recently remodeled but someone should have taken time to make sure things were properly installed. The shower curtain rod was falling out and the tub had black marks in the bottom as if it had not been washed in a long time. The breakfast was unexpectedly awesome and close to our location. Once I check in, I always check the mattress and bed sheet for any sign of bed bugs so I don't take any of them home. thank God, no bed bug but other horror. The bed sheet under the blanket was wrinkled and some stains were visible. This wasn't fresh bed sheet. I understand going green by keeping same sheet while I am staying but how can they not change […] after people check out. Very thought of dirty sheet kept me, I end up flipping sheets and used my blankets from my car for sleep. I guess I should have told the front desk but no matter, this is unacceptable and putting customers at risk of skin disease. also, breakfast drinks were so limited everytime I went to get some drink it was empty. Overall, the hotel was ok. The continental breakfast was great to have, but our room was right near the pool which was very noise up until 10pm. Also, there was mold in the bathroom and when we called to say we didn't have toilet paper, they said we would have to go down to get the roll if they had any. I would recommend with reservations. It works if you need only one nite, it is near Colonial Williamsburg, which was my destination, and near the Amtrak station. The breakfast room was small and crowed, the usual fare, toast, apples, waffels, coffee, Enought to get you going until the next stop. the pool looked dogey.

no fridge (room was supposed to have one) a/c had to be lowered to 65 holes around outlets no washclothes 1st nite would NOT stay here again

I would not stay at this hotel again. It is an older hotel and needs updating. It is located right next to a hoooters and a train runs behind the hotel. There were pieces of trash in the stairwells. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat.

Worst breakfast I ever had. Staff indifferent to needs. Bathroom dirty. For the price, better deals available in the area.

TraveLodge was very friendly and helpful service. It did not have a refrig in the room, but offered one for $10 extra per night. The room was clean, except behind the headboard, where we found an old Corona bottle cap and some candy wrappers. Pool was delightful, had to ask for pool towels at the front desk.

had problem with door locks from day one, there was clearly a short in it. Sometimes you could get in your room at other times you could not. They did not correct this until the night before we left! The beds were very hard and our daughters sank in the middle. Hotel.com told us that the roll away bed was included in the price when we clearly indicated that we were looking for a room to accommodate two adults and three small children yet when we checked in the hotel insisted on charging us an additional $11.00 dollars. The hotel said that it was hotel.com's fault. There was a dead cockroach in our bathroom. […] The A/C unit was not very cold. The wall paper was peeling off the walls in several areas. One light socket was dangerously broken in half ( missing cover ) .Old outdated drab furnishings. The five of us were crammed into a tiny,unclean room for two . The front desk clerk could care less about our concerns stating that was all they had for us yet by all appearances there were only a few cars in the parking lot . Ie. This was a great choice! If you want to spend your money elsewhere on touristy type of things, and still have a great nights rest, check into the Travelodge. Thanks for the great stay.

Other than the partying golfers who wanted everyone to know....the hotel did tell them to be quiet. Because of the mix up with hotels.com not checking me out on the Monday, they hotel was suppose to re-book me. They took my information, but never re-booked me. I had sen t an email regarding a fridge, it was never acknowledged. The pool was closed down. […] But, one thing they did accomodate me is for my late check out, do to my late flight schedule. Ok for the money. Poor water presure in shower and free breafast was a little lame.

This motel is very conveniently located for a visit to Colonial Williamsburg. The service people were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very basic, but the motel offers a breakfast buffet that includes waffles. The only drawback to this motel is that it didn't have a refridgerator in the room. I liked the hotel, good service, great location. I also liked the room but the bathroom was dirty, real dirty.

Pros: Location. Easy to get to Colonial Williamsburg & Busch Gardens & close to lots of restaurants. Inexpensive. Honestly I wouldn't stay here ever again. Just didnt make you feel to comfortable. Maybe I was expecting too much, but it just wasnt clean

Hotel was well priced, very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg. Only downfall was that the elevator was broken and our room was on the third floor. Definitely worth it to get the suite over the standard room.

We stayed at the hotel in April 2011. The hotel room is clean and ok. Bathrrom shower swithched from very hot-hot-very cold frequently. Breakfast was moderate, but there was no juice or plates one day; no coffee the other and no bagles!! Internet worked. Good for one night stay!! Thank you
