노보텔 런던 웨스트 (Novotel London West) - 런던

히드로 공항과 지하철로 환승없이 연결되는 Hammersmith역에서 엎어지면 코닿을 만한 위치에 있음. 사람들 후기보고 생각했던 것보다 더 가까웠다. 역내 맥도날드 옆 출구(엘리베이터, 층계없는 경사로...캐리어 끌고 얼마든지 다닐 수 있음) 로 나와 버스들이 서있는 작은 길들을 11시방향으로 서너개 건너면(신호등 있는 횡단보도 1개포함) 로레알 건물이 있고, 이를 오른쪽에 두고 더 전진하면 호텔로 올라가는 경사로가 바로 오른쪽에 있어서 올라가다보면 호텔 로비층으로 갈 수 있다. 경사로 오르내리는 게 귀찮으면 길건넌후 로레알 건물을 왼쪽에 두고 오른쪽으로 가다 뒷길같은 골목 나오면 좌회전에서 들어가다 보면 호텔 로비 아래층(짐맡아주는곳), […] 여기서 엘리베이터 이용하면 된다. 시내 주요 관광요지에 지하철로 수월하게 다닐 수 있다. 무엇보다 이 지하철 역사 자체가 큰 쇼핑몰이다. 다 돌아보진 못했지만, 큰 수퍼도 있어서 저렴한 먹거리도 구할 수 있고, 런던 사람들 일상생활을 같이 경험해보는 거다. 런던 물가가 비싸다지만 물, 과일, 빵, 요구르트... 수퍼에서 사먹으면 비싸지 않다. 다른 곳도 그렇지만, 특히 이 역의 매표소나 개찰구에 있는 안내원들, 정말 친절하다. 여러 사람들에게 많이 물어보았는데, 건성으로 대답해주는 사람 한명도 없었다. 이런 점도 런던의, 그리고 이 호텔의 경쟁력이라고 생각한다. 체크인 할 때는 잘 몰라서 공항에서부터 한인택시를 이용했는데 50파운드 지불했다. 공항 갈 땐 지하철 이용했는데, 생각보다 짐들고 공항가는 사람들 많아서 좀 복잡하긴 했지만, 셋이서 커다란 캐리어 하나씩 들고 탔는데, 그리 어렵진 않았다. 적어도 이 Hammersmith역과 공항에선 계단 오를내릴 일을 없었다. 참, 길이 막혀서 시간이 좀 더 걸리는 단점이 있긴 하지만, 호텔 바로 앞에 있는 버스정류장에 9번 버스가 있다. 어느 편에서 타야할 진 모르겠고, 시내에서 올 때 이용했는데, 하이드 파크도 지나고, 앨버트 공 기념비등을 지나 시내구경도 할 수 있다. 물론 빨간색 2층 버스를 타는 덤까지. 시내 중심부에 호텔을 잡는다면, 주요 명소로 가는 시간(약 20~30분)이 절약될 수 있겠지만, 비교적 저렴한 가격에 깨끗하고 아침도 훌륭했고, 공항으로 편리하게 갈 수 있고, 필요한 것들을 쉽게 살 수도 있고, 밤 늦게까지도 인적이 끊기지 않는 안전한 지역에 위치하는 여러모로 훌륭한 호텔이다. 더 보기

The hotel offered everything we needed included the opportunity to leave our luggage in a safe place on the day of our departure. We were able to enjoy our last day and pick up our luggage prior to coach departure at 8PM. The only suggestion I have is that you do not use first names without being invited to, I would have been happier to be addressed […] by my full title eg Mrs ...... rather than by christian name on the email inviting me to fill in this feedback and also by the young lady that booked us into the hotel for our stay. Hotel is great, stayed there before. I don't like car park charges for residents or charging for wifi but this is hotels in general it's a disgrace.

We spent 3 nights at the Novotel Hammersmith and will definitely be going back again. It was our second stay there, but the first with the kids. The family room was superb, the hotel is of a high quality and cleanliness, the staff are really helpful, and the location is good - serviced by 4 major underground lines at Hammersmith station which is just […] a 5 minute walk away. Our only minor criticism was that at breakfast, when the room is very busy, they use an overflow room and whilst the food is of the same quality, the furnishings aren't, they're still clean, but it just takes away from the higher quality spec of the rest of the hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a stay in London though and we'll be going back again soon :-) 더 보기

Really and helpful front of house staff.

I walked in to reception and was immediately in awre of the Hotel. My firiend & I were booked in to an executive room and found it very good but a tad small. I was disappointed the next day when two friends arrived and the double room that they had booked was the same size. Therefore I would go there again but not book an executive room. Also, don't […] park in the Hotel Car Park as it costs a fortune. I stayed 2 days (approx 49hrs in fact) and it cost £75. The car park had about 10 cars in it and could easily take 100 plus cars. Best hotel I've stayed in in London for a while. Parking a bit pricey, but that is my only complaint.

Stayed at the Novotel London West in December 2011, really nice hotel, good sized rooms, all the facilities you would normally expect from a Novotel. Would definitely recommend

Good value (at least for London), Good location. Very expensive to park a car. Staff are excellent and friendly.

Hotel was fine but the shower was a disaster! We used it twice each during our stay. The flexible hose was fractured and leaked badly.The shower door was ill-fitting. The result of these 2 was that the bathroom flooded each time it was used. We ended up with a pile of soaking wet towels! The cleaners must have been aware of the problem!

Overall is good as it's a 4-start hotel. But I do expect more from the service. When i asked for 2 extra pillows in the first night, the one pick up the phone told me there's 1 in the closet and asked if i really want two pillows. It seems the hotel recently redid the lobby, bar, and restaurant. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Hammersmith stop on the Piccadilly line. This makes it fairly easy to get to from Heathrow (about 45 minutes). Plenty of restaurants towards near the tube enterance. I ale\ways prefer Novotels whenever possible- and this hotel in London did not disappoint. Good breakfast, clean room, nice hotel bar. Friendly staff. One wish: Wireless internet in the lobby and the room. Cable connection does not work with my tablet.

Great hotel with own parking (for a charge). I was going to the Hammersmith Apollo and this hotel is a 10 minute walk away. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and efficient.

At first sight, Hammersmith seems to be the wrong place to be for central London. But it isn't. The Tube and Bus station are 2 minutes away, and in 4-6 stops, you are in the centre of London. We arrived late at night ,but, the reception service was very efficient , we were very pleased with the Location and just within a reasonable walking distant from the tube station, and it being on the Heathrow airport line. The breakfast we thought was a little expensive, but, then there wasn't much in the vicinity to chose from.

Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone. The location adjacent to trains buses and shops is excellent for anyone including elderly. The only negative aspect was we travelled by train from Heathrow to Hammersmith station. On arrival at the station there was no clear signage for travellers getting to the hotel. […] Hammersmith station has several entrances/exits and it is important for guests to know which way to go depending on which exit. Overall we had a pleasant stay at the hotel, clean but could supply rooms with extra pillows. Not too far from the tube station. Free gym which they don't mention on their website. Nice foyer and bar, restaurants too but a tad expensive. Gift shop in hotel very expensive for drinks and sweets. But it's in London and there is plenty out there.

Have stayed here for over 10 years - finally have redone lobby and guest rooms. Also a new gym in lobby area. Hotel was fine, have stayed here many times, recent renovations are nice, but room is always WARM and never really cool, AC is on full blast but by US standards is poor.....room never is really cool.

This hotel is located in what looks like an office complex. It is convenient to the Tube (Piccadilly line to Heathrow, so handy) and many bus routes. The hotel is enormous and our room was located a long walk from reception. The room was rather small but clean. The bed was quite hard and the pillows small. Breakfast was included in our rate but we didn't […] have it most days as it was quite ordinary. There was no free WiFi in the hotel; it was really expensive at £15 per 24 hours. There were four free terminals in the lobby but there was always a queue for them as they were never all working. I did have a few problems with my room, however, these were sorted out so quickly and in such good grace that I didn't let if effect the overall mark I gave. To receive such prompt and polite service (within 10 mins) is so unusual and I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here as i had a course nearby and it was close to tube stations shops etc as well. The public areas were impressive looking and the staff couldn't do enough for me. I had a meal at the bar in the evening which although I was a little disappointed in my burger, the burger bun was hardly the "country loaf" described in the menu, but never mind! My […] only disappointment was being placed in one of the rooms that has not been refurbished and was tatty and extremely shabby. Myself and a colleague stayed i this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days attending a conference which was also held in the hotel. I had read a few rreviews on the internet saying that the hotel needed refurbishment. This must have been already carried out as there was no part of the hotel where the condition could be faulted. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food ws very good also. My colleague used to be a chef and he agreed so it must have been good. Although I didn't need it, there was an unternet/TV/Movies package in room for a reasonable price, again by hotel standards. Hammersmith Tube station is about 5 minutes walk away and the bus station is just over the road. The conference facilities were some of the best I have seen. Very professional and everything worked. Okay room for the price. Good location for the Hammersmith tube stop. Front desk staff somewhat rude and not helpful at all. No good restaurants in area dinner. Eat elsewhere about town before returning to the hotel.

Great Hotel in an excellent location only a block from Hammersmith tube stop so it is easy to get to Heathrow or into City Center. Only negative was that the hotel bar had no british ales on tap or bottled, so for one that enjoys a nice pint , you will have to go to a pub. Room was large , more comfortable than most London rooms I have stayed in.

Close to our London office in Hammersmith and close to major tube station so easy to get around, also close to main taxi stand as well.

Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på Novotel där vi bodde i 3nätter med 2 vuxna och 2 barn (7&13 år). Moderna och fräscha rum, en mycket bra frukostbuffé och nära till kommunikationer. Den enda stora minuset var frånvaro av trådlöstnätverk på hotelrummet.

Greit rom med ok standard og renhold. Under 5 min gange til Tuben. Grei standard på frokostbuffet. Det som trekker ned er dyr og dårlig internettmulighet. Det skal være Wifi, men det var dårlig/ingen dekning på rommet. Det var kablet (såkalt) bredbånd på rommet, men det var dyrt og ustabilt.

El descanso dn los viajes es fundamental y si el colchón es de buena calidad se asegura el descanso , en este caso el colchón no era de buena calidad y se nota bastante .

Hotellet ligger bra till allmänna kommunikationer. Rummet var inte bra. För varmt eftersom temperaturregleringen på ventilationen inte fungerade. Dessutom mycket högt vindtjut i ventilationen. Stopp i avlopp till tvättställ vid ankomst. Sammantaget dålig rumskonfort.

Ho dormito 4 notti al Novotel London West con due bambini, Hotel pulito, posizione ottimale, circa 300 m dalla stazione della metropolitana Hammersmith, stazione ricca di negozi, ristoranti, servizi. Poco più in là c'e un supermercato dove è possibile acquistare baguette fresche, frutta e affettati. Non ho scelto di fare la colazione in hotel perchè […] in zona ci sono tantissimi bar dove poter mangiare muffins e bere ottimo caffè, anche italiano. Servizio frigo in camera a pagamento, anche il wireless, che tra l'altro non funziona bene, utilissimo l'uso gratuito dei computer per circa 20 minuti al giorno. Bon hôtel y compris pour les familles, calme malgré le quartier. Très pratique sur la ligne Picadilly pour se rendre rapidement au coeur de Londres. Petit déjeuner buffet très copieux et varié. Point négatif : Wifi payant et fonctionnant mal. Les ordinateurs à disposition à la réception sont systématiquement pris d'assaut.

Ottimo collegamento con metro/bus rende questo albergo molto comodo anche se non centrale. Ottima colazione, personale molto gentile (moltissimi italiani!)
