ideal location across the square from the presidential palace. An old historic building. As a result some of the plumbing is old and worn, but still functional. The rugs in the rooms oul use a good shampooing but are livable. The food in the dining room on the roof is good but expensive.

Great location. Cheaper for a reason, its very out dated. Would not stay again. 1 block down is the Holiday Inn Zocolo. 10 times better.

If you can afford it (or get it at a discount price like we did) this makes a stay in Mexico City a breeze. You couldn't get more central and there are loads of things to see within walking distance. Staff couldn't do enough for us. If you can afford it, stay here!

Fantastic location in most vibrant area of town! Highly recommend!

Stayed at a very noisy corner room that looks out to plaza. Couldn't sleep all night. No WiFi access in room and had to go down to lobby to get on the Internet. Would not stay again at this hotel.

I really enjoyed the Majestic, except for that flat, uncomfortable bed which is, apparently, somewhat common in Mexico. I don't need something luxurious, but I did not care for that bed. If flat mattresses don't bother you, then this is a great place - affordable, historic, and I got an amazing view of the Zocalo and Cathedral. They also have a concierge […] who can arrange pretty much anything for you at a fairly reasonable rate. If you want to use the elevator, you have to wait for a bell hop to take you as it is old-fashioned. I liked the neighborhood - there is a lot more than just the Zocalo & Alameda Park has its sites. It is too bad that everything but the convenience stores close by 10:00, so there isn't a lot in the way of night life. During the day, it is bustling. 더 보기

Very convenient location, extremely helpful staffs Although needs updates, the staffs made up for it.

This is an old elegant hotel in the atrium style. Lots of tile and varnished dark wood. Floors 1 through 6 are in the atrium with a sitting area on floor 1. The restaurant on floor 7 has a deck that directly overlooks the Zocalo. It is clean, comfortable and the staff speak English. It's entrance is on a street that has been closed to traffic, but the […] taxi can let you out at the top of this street on the Zocalo and therre is a small (30 feet) walk to the hotel entrance. The hotel lobby and courtyard is beautiful. Just what you would expect from an old DF hotel. There is also a lovely restaurant on the top floor overlooking the Zocalo. However, the food is at best, mediocre. Wouldn't advise eating there. The room was shabby, the mattress very hard, even by Mexican standards, and the sheets too small and thin. Yes, it was once majestic, but today it's a bit worn. The hotel is in the best location you can find in Mexico City. Everything is outside your door, and despite its slight shabbiness, the majesty is still there in the lobby and terrace. The rooms are OK. Someone had the idea to paint knobs and latches in copper paint. It could been done better. The […] tub's knobs are ancient and hard to use. And, breakfast on the terrace costs a fortune and all the food was cold even 20 minutes after they began serving it. Oh, and be ready to listen to Aztec warriors dancing all night. Not so great for sleeping... But, all in all, I enjoyed my stay. I loved being at the Zocalo the minute I stepped out the door! 더 보기

Wonderful service, wonderful location. I can get over the hard beds. I always want the rooms that fron the Zocalo and was warned of the noice but love the experience. This was my fifth stay and never disappointed.

Because the city has now decided to close Madero Street on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, it is impossible to arrive at the hotel entrance in a vehicle. We have to catch a cab down on the corner and are left off down on the corner, which means we have to haul our suitcases, packages and whatever down the block to get into the hotel. This is a very trying […] situatiion and in no way the fault of the hotel, but I am 83 years old and don't really need this situation in my life. Es una lastima que un edificio tan lindo este tan descuidado. Ademas, el servicio dejó mucho que desear: es como si no quisieran que hicieras el check in, ni solicitaras nada por teléfono. Las alfombras estaban sucias y aunque dijeron tener cafetera, las dos últimas veces que nos hospedamos ahi dijeron que se habían descompuesto... La ubicación es maravillosa […] y si tienes suerte (y tu recepcionista tiene buena voluntad) te tocará una vista increíble del Zócalo... Aunque si, como a nosotros, te toca una manifestación, es seguro que no podrás dormir sino hasta bien entrada la madrugada y serás despertado al amanecer, pues las habitaciones no están protegidas contra el ruido... Hotel col fascino e l'atmosfera del tempi passati, ma con tutte le comodità necessarie oggi . Posizione fantastica: proprio al centro della Piazza della Costituzione! Dalla nostra camera vedevamo in tutta comodità la cerimonia quotidiana dell' alza bandiera (l' apprezzavamo maggiormente alle 6 di sera piuttosto che alle 6 del mattino...).

El hotel es muy limpio, piezas amplias, una vista preciosa al Zocalo, y la arquitectura es muy bella. Solo los colchones de las camas son demasiado duros.

AUNQUE DEFINITIVAMENTE NO ES LUJOSO, EN RELACION PRECIO, UBICACION ES BASTANTE RECOMENDABLE PARA VIAJEROS O NEGOCIOS EN LA ZONA, CON UN PRESUPUESTA MEDIO. EL UNICO PUNTO QUE CREO PODRÍAN MEJORAR SON LOS COLCHONES. AUN ASI RECOMIENDO LA ESTANCIA EN ESTE HOTEL

Esse hotel não ofereçe segurança nenhuma aos h[opedes, serviço de atendimento ruim, pessoas mau humorada, não gostei de nada. Não recomendo.

良い点 ・目の前にソカロがあるので、観光の拠点として最高 ・屋上レストランがあり、目の前のメトロポリタンカテドラルが見える絶景かつ、料理も美味しい ・エレベータを代表とする共用部分がアンティーク 悪い点 ・エアコンがなかった (気づかなかっただけ？)

Das Hotel Mejestic in Mexico City liegt direkt im Zentrum am Zocalo mit atemberaubenden Blick auf die Kathedrale. Das Restaurant auf der Dachterasse bietet ein schönes Ambiente und einen sehr schönen Ausblick.Das Frühstück ist gut und das Abendessen war richtig gut. Die Bar ist wenig einladend,der Fernseher läuft die ganze Zeit aber die Margaritas sind […] sehr sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig abgewohnt ,wir mussten das Zimmer einmal wechseln,da im Bad das Waschbecken undicht und der Vorhang im Schlafzimmer kaputt war. Das Wechseln lief ohne Propleme und zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Der Zimmerservice war nicht gut,da man uns ständig zuwenig Handtücher gab und jeden Tag die Seife ersatzlos entfernt wurde. Das war lästig. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt in dem Hotel sehr angenehm,das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmte in jedem Fall. Die wunderbare Lage und das schöne Ambiente in dem Hotel haben uns für die kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten,die auch prompt behoben wurden,in jedem Fall entschädigt.Wir hatten dort einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wieder dorthin zurückkehren. 더 보기

A pesar de algunos detalles negativos que encontramos en el hotel (mantenimiento de la habitación, agua fría en la regadera, pésimo bufet), la vista es inmejorable y solo por eso se les perdonan. Si vas al Majestic, asegurante de que te sea asignada una habitación de frente al Zócalo.

Llegamos a las 10 de la noche y lo dejamos a las 6 de la mañana, a pesar de que teníamos una noche más ahí. Demasiado viejo, ruidoso y sucio. Fue deprimente esa noche y mejor nos fuimos a Polanco a un hotel como el que esperábamos.

Quel bel hôtel ! mais quel dommage qu'il ne soit pas un peu rénové au niveau des chambres et des salles de bains surtout, d'autant que les chambres donnant sur la place sont très bruyantes néanmoins ce fut une halte très réussie.

Der Service ist sehr antiquiert, obwohl auf der (Restaurant-)Terrasse zum Zocalo kaum Tische besetzt waren, mußten wir in der Bar in einer Seitenstraße Platz nehmen. Das Personal spricht (und versteht) teilweise schlecht Englisch.

Der Concierge/Bell Boy Service war außerordentlich freundlich und sehr hilfreich! Das Frühstück war nicht mehr als durchschnittlich. Die Zimmer könnten in einem besseren Zustand sein. Die Lage des Hotels entschädigt für einige der Defizite.

Nos queriamos quedar en ese hotel para ver el espectaculo de Yo Mexico y la vista estaba tapada por las gradas del desfile del 20 de Noviembre. El ensayo del dicho desfile comenzó a las 3 am. asi que no pudimos dormir. Aparte el hotel dice que cuenta con estacionamiento y no es así.

La vista desde la habitación es excelente hacia el Zócalo, y el servicio por parte del personal del hotel es bueno. lo único malo es el equipamiento de la habitación que es un poco viejo y que no cuenta con servicio de estacionamiento.

Eine Besonderheit ist das gute Dach-Restaurant, das einen grossartigen Panorama-Blick auf den Hauptplatz der Stadt gewährt. Zu Fuss ist man in kürzester Zeit bei interessanten Punkten.
