great location.

Good hotel in a very convenient location, however in desperate need of some updating.

Everybody super friendly, excellent service and food. The children enjoy the beautiful pool were happy to eat next to it!

My third stay in the Camino Real family. Very attentive staff. Great rooms, food, restroom. Super clean.

The first thing that will hit you when you walk in this place is it's like an art gallery, don't think I've ever stayed in a place like this before. The entrance in massive and lots to look at. Rooms are good, some signs or wear and tear, but nothing to be concerned about. Pool is great, and a real bonus in the city. It's heated and great to chill […] out in all day. Breakfast is good, but not the cheapest. Restaurants in the hotel are good, there's a few to choose from, but ask the staff for directions as they are all over the hotel. Only bad point is no free internet! I'd expect to pay extra in a cheaper hotel but not here. Overall recommended. 더 보기

Terrible noisy room Shower not workimg properly

Very slow service at check-in. I had to call 30 times to get Internet access. You can never get an answer at the front desk with less than 5 calls. Had a leak inside the closet that got 2 of my slacks wet. Even on the 5th floor, I can't sleep at night hearing the noise on the street.

This hotel is like a good bottle of wine that gets better with the years. always fresh, clean, great restaraunts, fantastic service and on this trip - a very good price.

This used to be the hotel to stay at in MC. Unlike it's competition that is built vertically this hotel spreads out horizontally on a prime bit of real estate. Right across the street from park with museums. Nice room. A bit dated, but the bathroom had been updated recently. Great Hotel for bussiness travelers, good restaurants on the premise, good gym and a nice pool.

Its a very nice place and convienant with mulipule restrants within the hotel. The food at each of the restrants is very good and service top notch. The only downside is that when it rains there are leaks throughout the hotel that the staff cleans up, which can make the area a little mildewy small. An amazing level of service from the hotel staff and an excellent value until you get into the restaurants, where the food is below average quality but very highly priced.

Arrived after midnight, there was no hot water, my friend got bumped out of the hotel and the front desk would not let him into my room unless I paid $1,000 pesos more (I had a double room). Terrible experience.

I was very disturbed when I arrived at the hotel to find the front desk trying you up charge me an extra $90.00 for my stay. This extra was for internet usage three breakfasts and a room with a balcony. I explained to the gentleman I was there on business and that I needed a clean room and was doing breakfast with clients each day. After an hour, he […] finally realized I just wanted my room which was paid ahead of time. The Bell man brought my luggage to my room but forgot to leave me the key to the room. Not impressed to say the least. There are nicer hotels in the area without the hard up sell. Love the area...some of the finest dining to be found in Mexico. Oh by the way! This was a very nice hotel. The staff was pleasant and being an English speaker was usually able to find someone able to answer my questions. The restaurants were good and the first evening my husband and I spent most of the day in after being tired after a long trip. There was easy access to the shopping areas and sightseeing by taxis. Visiting Mexico City, Camino Real is your hotel. Great location - close to park, main touristic locations and beautiful street. The amneties of the hotel (pool, restaurants and bars inside the hotel), quality of the service makes it a real five star place.

Good hotel, nice and spacious room - just ask for one close to the elevator if you don't want to walk for a mile. Also, the taxi service from the hotel charges more than the regular taxis in the city.

Very Pleasant stay. I was in town for 3 days on business. The service was great. The food was very good though a little expensive. My room faced the inner courtyard and was very quiet which is all you can ask for in this town…

Our stay at the Camino Real was excellent. Our room was great - except that we couldn't figure out how to get the TV channels; the food in the two restaurands was also excellent, and the service was very attentive - except in the Blue Lounge Bar

The service is excellent and they are all very kind. The check-in was fast and they let us do an earlier check-in. The room was very clean and well decorated. The hotel is very big and has many restaurants. Many options. It has an excellent location in the city, close to business center and tourism attractions. They have a business center, gym, all […] the facilities for a modern hotel. The only thing I did not like was the view from my room to another building, but I guess you can ask for another aisle of the hotel. :) The decoration is very nice combining Mexican Culture with modern style, I love Maria Bonita Restaurant, you can not miss it! Critics:Bathrooms are old, no water bottles in the room, they sell them for 4 dollars each. Internet 15 dollars a day. Parking is expensive even if they just come to pick you up for 15 minutes The location is good lots of places and restaurants near. We had a very good stay at this Camino Real, and walked from there to the Antara Polanco shopping center. The hotel isn't close to any subway stations, but we walked anyway. The hotel provides special tourist taxis that cost more than others, but seem worth it (we used a couple). The hotel has a number of restaurants that we didn't try, but the Cambalache […] Argentine restaurant not far away at Masaryk and Arquimedes was so good we went two nights in a row. I would stay again.

The hotel it self has some nice dining places, however I was very disappointed in the fact that they charge you and extra $50.00 in addition to your rate in order to be able to have Unlimited Wi-Fi Internet access and continental breakfast.There is also a separate charge for parking. i really don't like the idea that I'm paying an X amount of money […] for a room and then on top of that I have to pay for the internet and parking. It just doesn't make sense at all. The style is a little old, there was a lot of trash in the carpet in the hallways, although there was an employee vacuuming the hallways at 11 pm at night. 더 보기

Lot's of concierge, little actual staff. Will try to nickel and dime you.

The hotel remains one of Mexico City's great hotels. The only facility I found lacking were the choices available on the hotel's cable tv system. The biggest omission was the absence of a top business oriented channel such as Bloomberg TV, for example.

It is an old hotel that is very well maintained. Not in a walking part of the city. Small rooms but very clean and comfortable. The sheets are like sleeping between thin cardboard. They need to improve the linens. Also, no bathrobe, which is a nice amenity.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed. Old room and a lot of noise. The hotel staff is rude and with a bad attitude. NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!

Really wonderful hotel. Not the best location if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing around the city, but very comfortable if you are looking for a beautiful spot to relax (in a fabulous city!!).

Camino Real Polanco is in easy walking distance of the Tamayo, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Museum of Anthropology,all in the part of Chapultepec closest to Av. Reforma with its easy access to the rest of the city. The pool is very nice; the restaurants are good, if occasionally pricey (watch out for a "cover" charge in Bistro Bici that is noted […] on the menu in tiny, tiny print). Wireless is good, but you must pay for the password, even in public areas. I also note that Camino Real not only survived the '85 earthquake unscathed; it also served as a refuge for travelers who lost their hotels. It is very safe, and security is very good. 더 보기
