Great hotel excellent pricing and good walk to most spots or take the tram. Loved the proximity to the shanghai dumplings place around at 123 king st

handy to the free tram and also close to Southern Cross Station and the SkyBus. Supermarket and shops close, also Subway and other eateries. All in all another good trip to Melbourne.

Was only one block from the free tram that goes past the Royal Exhibition Blgs where the quilt show is held annually so this was another great trip to Melbourne. Stayed here before and the convenience of the hotel is good being 3 minutes walk from Southern Cross Railway Station. Not a bad hotel as it just 2 minutes walk from the Southern Cross station, and 20 minutes walk to the river side to see the beautiful view of the city. Day tour pick up point near the hotel and it's a very good room service provided. So basically I recommended to people.

Great hotel, clean and large room, gym, laundry, close to the station/airport shuttle. I was on the 7th floor. 10 min walking to the CBD.

A very small place, quite basic,but friendly staff and its in a great location so its perfect for a base for exploring the city!!!

Room (2 x single) was small, but clean and comfortable. Air-con slightly noisey. Double blinds kept the room dark in the morning. Breakfast reasonable in the in-house cafe.

Our stay at the Ibis was very pleasant and we would certainly recommend it to our friends if they are going to soend some time in Melbourne. Rooms were cleaned every day and a good standard of house keeping was maintained. Wishing You All at Ibis a VERY HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS 2012. Victor and Helen

The only thing about the hotel was the price. It should have been positioned more like a backpackers hostel!

The Hotel was very nice and clean and the Breakfast was lovely. But the position in Little Bourke St left a lot to be desired. Two nightclubs and lots of noise till 6am on Saturday night. Both mornings at Breakfast we were entertained with the goings on across the road with homeless collecting cigarette butts on the road below.

The hotel locates close to skybus station which is a service shuttle bus from and to the airport. Also, locate close to small-sized DFO outlet and southern cross station where you can travel by train to many other locations. However, I think it is a bit too far from bourke shopping street where there are lots of retail shops and department stores. The […] staff at the reception were very helpful and they all have service mind from what i have experienced. There is a fitness room on 10th floor which equipped with stereo and air-conditioning where you can enjoy the scenario outside the hotel building while excercising. I think the maid didn't get to clean the room very well. There were some time that i came back to hotel room and the coffee cup were left unclean and i have to wash it myself. From my opinion, i think the hotel room is suitable for one person as the size is smaller than i expected after seeing the hotel room pictures. Overall, i would say that this is a "okay" hotel for me. 더 보기

This Ibis hotel has an excellent location: one block away from Souther Cross Station which is the main transport hub in Melbourne and the drop off place for airport buses, it's close to the free city circle tram, and a 15 min walk from the main attractions. Room is very clean. Ammenities included are: toiletries, hairdryer, tub, fridge, dishes and flatware, […] iron & ironing board, restaurant, wi-fi with extra cost, and water warmer for coffee or tea. Great location, 5mins walk from the Skybus terminal. Noisy nightclub on the weekend, can be heard inside the room

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and 5 days. It was my first trip away in a very long time, esp in a hotel and the main complaints I had were the noise levels from the slamming room doors when guests would arrive back from their nights out or very early check-ins. I also noticed the poor quality of the room walls as I could hear the cupboards of […] our neighbours and opposite being opened and shut[also a banging noise] and the wall behind the bed was also being leaned or banged against.. The room also had a giant glass [of course] floor to ceiling window which took up a lot of the wall space in an already very small room, and as I have severe vertigo I could not have the blinds open while I was in the room, much to my daughters disappointment. So, the window and the noisy hotel doors and guests[no fault of the hotel] were my main issues . Couldnt fault the staff at all, they were lovely and helpful. Excellently located Ibis hotel that's 5 minutes walk (max) to Southern Cross bus and train station. Just take the Airpot Coach for about $16.00 to Southern Cross and you're at the hotel. I took the taxi from the airport and it was $60 bucks! But the Coach/bus is just as convenient and goes every 15 minutes 24 hours a day! It's your usual Ibis hotel, […] so small room, but good condition with bath and shower over the bath. Really quiet room, apart from a kind of noisy aircon. Helpful friendly reception staff. 더 보기

I usually stay in 2 bedroom apartments as we go to Melbourne with friends, but will now always stay here when just my husband and I travel, very close to Southern Station, Ethiad Stadium. Bus to airport at end of street. Free trams at end of street. Best part of Hotel was no outside noise through the night..... this to me sells the hotel... especially […] if like me a light sleeper. room basic, clean and convenient, but very quiet. 더 보기

Room is too small even for an asian size like me. I was told free wifi is in the room during booking but found interenet fee is as high as A$29 per day!! Staff at front desk is not friendly at all, sort of CIA watching and peeping guest going around. The worse case is the hotel rule of fine guest on smoking and really unable to figure out who is acting […] on behalf of the authority putting such A$400- in case smoking in hotel area. Room was small and old, but clean. They are even able to fit in iron board and iron. Excellent location, we took the skybus from Melbourne airport to Southern Cross station, only 25mins and the Hotel is only 3 mins walk from Southern Cross station. If all you are looking for is a place to drop your bags and go out this hotel is what you are looking for, but if you intend to spend time in your room its not the best, very small rooms and my first impression was welcome to my box. Only good thing was the room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Het hotel op zich is prima, vervelend is alleen de dat de deuren erg hard dichtslaan wat vooral 's nachts veel overlast geeft. Ook de disco is in het weekend erg goed te horen. Wat erg fijn is dat de bus naar het vliegveld op loopafstand aankomt en vertrekt. Ook de rest van het openbaar vervoer is allemaal op loopafstand te bereiken waardoor dit hotel […] aantrekelijk gelegen is. 더 보기
