센츄리 서던 타워 호텔 (Century Southern Tower Hotel) - 도쿄

일단 로케이션이 JR역과 가까워서(센츄리가든 입구 였나?? 도보 3분) 좋았습니다. 호텔은 건물 20층 부터 객실이 위치해 있는데 올라가는 엘레베이터가 투명유리로 되어있어서 경치 감상에도 좋았구요 객실내에서 바라보는 경치도 훌륭했습니다.(어슴프레하게 후지산도 보입니다.) 그리고 건너편에는 백화점 다카시마야 와 도큐핸즈가 위치해 있어서 쇼핑하기에도 좋았구요... 저희는 첫날 저녁7시 넘어서 백화점 지하 식품매장에 갔는데 일본각지의 도시락을 30~50% 할인해서 파는 덕에 맛있는 도시락을 저렴하게 맛볼 수 있었습니다. 둘째날에는 호텔 레스토랑에서 아는 지인들과 식사하였는데, 금액 대비 맛은 그닥...약 만엔(인당) 전후 오히려 […] 주변 둘러보시면 '사이제리아(이태리레스토랑)'등 외식 할 수 있는 식당들 많이 있으니 주변 산책겸 둘러 보시면 좋을것 같아요... 끝으로 방 면적은 신주쿠 주변의 호텔들이 다 그렇지만 좀 좁습니다. 저는 와이프와 어린아이들 둘이 묵었는데요. 좀 좁은 느낌입니다. 평소에는 출장차 혼자와서 묵다보니 좁아도 별 불편함이 없었는데 역시 좁더라구요. 일본 동경근처에서도 조금만 외부로 나가면 넓은 호텔들도 많이 있으니 가족 여행객들은 한번 찾아보시길(동경디즈니랜드 내에 있는 오피셜 호텔들 강추)... 더 보기

합리적인 가격, 완벽한 Location, 청결한 시설 때문에 항상 이용하고 있습니다. 다카시마야 백화점과 기노쿠니야 서점이 눈앞에 있어, 마지막 출발 시간 전 까지의 시간을 유용하게 이용할 수있습니다. 비지니스 센터는 2층의 Fedex Kinko's를 이용하면 됩니다. 서비스 또한 나무랄데 없습니다. 이번에는 트윈 룸을 Time sale로 저렴하게 예약하여 이용하였습니다. (개인적으로는 싱글룸측 객실에서 보는 신주쿠 교엔의 View를 좋아합니다만) 여느때와 마찬가지로 합리적인 서비스와 청결한 시설로, 매우 만족스럽게 체류하였습니다. 감사합니다.

호텔닷컴 예약 40%할인받고 4박5일 스텐다드 더블룸 머물었습니다. 나리타공항에서 리무진버스 호텔앞으로 도착해서 편리했고 방 크기, 침대 크기 충분하였습니다. 신주쿠역 남쪽 바로 앞이라 근교 및 원근 각 역으로 다니기 너무 편했습니다. 서전테라스 건물이고 코앞에 도큐한즈, 다카시마야 백화점, 기쿠노미야 서점에 빅토리아,L-Breath등 골프아웃도어 용품점, 서쪽 5분거리에 요도바시카메라 등 쇼핑이 원스톱으로 해결되었습니다. 도심의 호텔이라 수퍼마켓은 근처에 없었지만 편의점은 가까이있었습니다. 요도바시카메라 주변에서 우동, 돈부리등 저렴하고 맛있는 식사 가능했습니다. 신주쿠역 모자이크거리에서 일본풍 손수건 수건 등 기념품 […] 사기에도 좋습니다. 신주쿠 지역에서 몇군데 호텔 머무른적있는데 교통 쇼핑에 있어 최적 조건의 호텔이라 생각됩니다. 더 보기

The rooms are decent sized. Great location due to easy access to Shinjuku JR and several other Metro lines. One of my favorite hotels in Tokyo. Free wifi was slow but at least they had free wifi.

Great location, 2 minute walk to train station. We had 2 adjoining rooms for a family of 5. They were quite spacious considering with magnificent views. Breakfast was expensive and fairly basic for a western diet however it was nice, just overpriced. There are plenty of options near the hotel however. Starbucks, Krispy Kream, small supermarkets all […] with breakfast supplies if thats what you want. There is no facility in the room to reheat anything though other than to boil water. Lobby etc. look very elegant and all take advantage of the great views. Located close to lots of shopping. would definitely stay again 더 보기

I LOVE the location of Century Southern Tower Hotel, which is so close to Shinjuku station and it's very convenient to go to places in Tokyo. The view from the room is also spetacular. I will definitely come back if I choose to stay at Shinjuku next time!

This is a really great location with many department stores and convenience stores nearby. There is a Family Mart just before reaching the hotel for buying all the necessities. There is even a bridge from the hotel that links to Takashimaya which is linked to Shinjuku-sanchome station. I've stayed here time and time again and love it! It does a better version of what it says on the tin. Service is great and the views are beyond!!! Conveniently placed too but the highlight for me are the views!

I've stayed at this hotel twice before and have never been disappointed. The location is amazing, right in the heart of Shinjuku. Additionally because it is a main artery in the subway, it is convenient going anywhere in Tokyo. Perfect spot directly above Shinjuku station (don't be fooled by address popping up in Shibuya, it is in the heart of shinjuku!) We had a 30th floor corner room, it was large, beautifully appointed and had a great view. Tribeca restaurant was just perfect as well. The Japanese cook french better than the french (can't say the same for the Italian though) Some […] more general advice for Aussie travellers: don't be put off using the cabs, no more expensive than in Oz, just check that you have a good idea of the distances involved, and avoid peak hours and you will be very happy, the drivers know all the main attractions or shopping districts and will drop you to the door. That being said, the JR train lines are perfect, use the Yamanote Line and you can't go wrong, it does a large ring about Tokyo CBH and all the stations are dead in the middle of each district either for shopping, or Temples/Shrines, or Sumo. Definitely consider getting a Japan Rail Pass (only available before you get to Japan). No tickets to worry about, all JR included, except the two fastest Bullet trains, and great value with unlimited use. Also if you can, you must get to the Sumo tournament if one is on when you are in Japan. Tickets are available online, get seats in A section on first floor: perfect. 더 보기

Great stay. Excellent location opposite Shikjuku Station southern terrace exit. One of the best locations of a hotel. Expensive hotel lobby bar. Good food at Tribeks restaurant. Lovely views.

We haven't been back to Tokyo for over 18 months and this hotel again did not let us down. This is probably our 10 stays in Century Southern Tower and we will defintely come back again.

The hotel is one of the finest I have stayed in Tokyo. Within walking distance from Shinjuku JR station, this hotel is both clean and comfortable with a magnificent view. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there the next time around.

A great hotel, thoroughly enjoyed it. We were on the 30th floor (reception is on the 20th) and had a corner room. I woke up every day early and pulled back the curtains to watch the sun come up over the skyscapers from Roppongi on the left, Ginza, Shibuya and lastly Shinjuku on the right. Similarly the sun going down and the lights coming on was just […] incredible. We could also see Fuji-san on clear days. the room was a good size and the extra corner space, with a sofa and table, was worth it. Bathroom was a good size, bed comfortable. There's no mini bar or room service, rather a shop near the reception that has everything you need from toiletries, booze or onigiri. Loved the shop, wish more hotels would do this. I hardly heard another guest. The breakfast was great and again, that incredible view made up for any priciness, but it got really busy at the weekend after 9am. We didnt use any of the 3 restaurants for dinner, because Shinjuku is right on your doorstep. Looked good though. There's a KrispyKreme and a Starbucks right outside, and even more restaurants in the building too (also a pub selling Belgian beer, which seems to be a trend in Japan). These are both packed, especially the KrispyKreme with crazy long lines outside at the weekend. There's another starbucks on the other side of the traintracks that's quieter. Also nearby is the massive Takashimaya deprtment store (also with tons of restaurants) and the most amazing shop in Japan, Tokyu Hands. It took us a couple of days to realise that, given the mammoth nature of Shinjuku station, it was actually quicker to walk to Yoyogi station instead if we were only taking the Yamanote line. I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like about this hotel- it could only have been better if we were on floor 35. 더 보기

Very near both the subway and the JR, with Krispy Kremes at your doorstep, and Times Square/Takashimaya opposite. Great for Tokyu Hands fans too as a 7-level store is located just across the hotel. View from the hotel room is amazing, you wake up to sunlight streaming in from the streets of Tokyo every morning.

Great hotel with an excellent view. Superb location with a link bridge to Takashimaya. Many cafeterias around, such as McDonalds, Yoshinoya (open till 2am), Krispy Kreme and Starbucks located within walking distance. Slight flaw: One of the hotel staff that works late night was adamant on not assisting me with the activation of a japanese prepaid data […] SIM card that I purchased. The SIM card instructions were in Japanese and the hotline(in english) was only available during weekdays, therefore I emailed the staff a week before specifying I needed help with activation as I am checking in on a friday night. The front desk staff agreed to help, however when I reached it was a different story altogether. One of the front desk staff read the instructions and did not want to help us. He said, harshly, "It is your own personal problem if you can't activate it, not the hotel's" and asked me to wait till monday to call the english helpline. Great hotel nonetheless, just a slight bitter aftertaste due to the unhelpful staff. 더 보기

The hotel was close to trains and shops. Great view of the city, room was good size for Japan and modern. Gym equipment new and staff friendly.

The hotel close to the subway and JR station. It's very convenince to everywhere. The hotel is in the Shinjuku very good for shopping and the night life. The hotel staffs are very nice and helpful. The room is new,clean and not too small.

One of the most convenient and comfortable hotels my family and I have stayed at. Wide spectrum of shopping and restaurant options including electronics branches of Akihabara stores. Shinjuku is an excellent transportation hub. This is the most modern and active location one could ask for. The hotel is convenient from all points of view. It is particularly convenient that the 5 minutes before the train from Narita espress. I recommend.

We stayed 2 nights in the Century Southern Tower. It is right next to the Shinjuku Train Station (major hub in Tokyo), so it is very convenient for site-seeing: TMG Towers and Mejii Shrine nearby. Shibuya/Harjuku close by too. Shopping at Takashimaya Times Square complex is 100 yds. away - includes huge Tokyo Hands. Basement of Takashimaya is great […] for take-out lunch/dinner - eat in a park, not walking on the street. Rooms are clean, but a bit small - no surprise for Tokyo. Well appointed and quiet. I would stay at this hotel again, as it was centrally located and adjacent to the train station. I did not eat in the hotel - seemed expensive compared to what you could get in outside restaurants. I like this hotel so much, I had very good room in 34 floor, so lucky and have very good view and really enjoy about this. The room is very clean, and it is close to everywhere, I like it so much, next time, I will choose this hotel again.
