The hotel was overall very nice. Our room was a little worn down in terms of the carpet and interior decore but very clean and put together. I had no problem with the hotel being next to a cemetery. It was very peacful. It was nice that they had a breakfast and BBQ for guests. The staff was very friendly. I would stay at this hotel again.

It was decent, but the hotel is ready for some renovation and upgrades.

We arrived at the lodge and were given a "queen bedroom" in the oldest part of this facility. The linens were worn out. The carpet was threadbare at the entrance and bathroom doors. The room was Not pictured on the website. We were disappointed to find that the spacious, balconied and fire-place equipped room we thought would be ours was a shabby, cold, […] worn out, cramped, sad little room. We couldn't recommend this portion of the Lighthouse Lodge and Suites at this time however renovations are underway. The location is wonderful and within walking distance of the sea. Really a beautiful stretch of coast. The staff was accomodating and professional. 더 보기

This hotel has 2 locations and crossing between wine and cheese on one side of the street and hot tub with no towels on another side of the street was inconvenient.

We really enjoyed staying at the Lighthouse Lodge and Suites. It was the perfect place to stay in Pacific Grove and breakfast and happy hour were both great!

I had a Queen bed room, which can only be described as "just ok". Paint was peeling on the walls in the bedroom and bathroom and they didn't do a very good job masking baseboards to keep the paint off. Huge mirror above the sink interfered with the operation of the faucet and stopper, even though they had cut part of the bottom out of it. Bed was decent […] enough, room was quite large which made the one small table in the room look even smaller. Complimentary breakfast and bbq dinner was quite good though. The location is what truly makes this hotel. Its a 1/3 mile walk straight down the hill to the ocean and some of the prettiest coastline in Central Calif. Additionally the Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Links is situated just passed the cemetery which lies between the hotel and course, but is also a very easy walk to get to from the hotel. Access to downtown Pacific Grove and Monterey is easy, as well as 17 Mile Drive and Carmel. 더 보기

The hotel isvery near the monterey aquarium and 17 mile route at pebble beach. Adequate hot breakfast, bbq- grilled hamburger, hot dogs, chili, slad also filling. Will come back to this place.

Ecellent suite and outstanding service. Room was large and fireplace enjoyable. Breakfast and happy hour were outstanding and included. Will stay again.

What a beautiful location, and we could hear the ocean from our room. The bed was very comfy with great linens. The room was large, with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, though a little dated, and baseboards in need of paint, etc. The bathroom had been upgraded and was very clean. Enjoyed the balcony, and would have enjoyed having a screen on the […] door, to hear the ocean waves indoors, too. Full breakfast was sufficient, and we walked to the beach, to the lighthouse, and played golf right around the corner at the muni links. Excellent value for the rate. The breakfast and the wine and cheese receptions were excellent. One couple were celebrating their 40th and Frank, the desk clerk, dressed in a tux, crooned a couple numbers a capella for them. No closet was a bit strange, but lots of drawer space. Could have used a little brighter reading light by the bed. The lodge reception room is lovely. In room fireplace cozy, as are outdoor fire pits and seating. A 5 minute walk to wild rocky coast or short drive to tamer coast walks and shopping. Stay in the suites. This is a good place to visit if you have children. They provide a barbecue in the evening and breakfast. However, I noticed the smell of chlorine and dogs in the room. It did not smell very clean. It appeared to be fairly clean, but had a lingering odor. I love the area, there were just too many dogs here, and the owners were not cleaning up after […] all of them. We have stayed at this location every year for about 20 years. We love the location. The staff continues to be friendly. The amenities are very good. The price is fair. What more can I say? Come and enjoy one of the most fun areas in the nation.

The Lighthouse Lodge and Suites in Pacific Grove is perfectly located. It's just far enough from the ocean so you don't hear the traffic noise, but, close enough for a nice walk for almost any age. They are dog friendly and they offer an "English Breakfast" and a "Barbeque Dinner" that is not gourmet, but great considering it is included in the room […] rate and after an active day you don't have to clean up to go out. We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very quiet for sleeping and so close to the ocean. We stay in Pacific Grove often, but have never stayed in this particular area of town, but we will from now on. Who serves a BBQ in the afternoon? We have stayed here for several years -- often 2 or 3 times a year for 4-5 days. It's now under new ownership and the facility is undergoing a face lift. We had to move for one night from one side of the complex to another across the road because of fumigation. That was not much trouble. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. Very eye appealing. Breakfast and a nice wine/cheese/snacks were complimentary with the stay. Beach was walking distance and downtown Monterey was quick and easy to get to. Hotel staff very nice, food great, comfortable bed and nice gas fireplace! I will stay there again.

We enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi in the room. The wine and cheese reception each night was a nice touch. Breakfast was also good. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend.

This was an ok hotel. But just that. The jacuzzi tub in our room did not work so they attempted to move us to another room where the tub worked, but the bed was hard as a rock. so we actually ended up in the room we started in. The service was good. The food was good. Nice to have close by. The room was cozy, however needed some work. After walking […] around you tend to notice things. Like mold on the walls. Or holes that were badly patched. Just needs some work and probably wouldnt be a bad place to visit. We wont be back any time soon. Bedding and carpet are not clean. It would be nice if the site includes information of surrounding area. This hotel is right next to a cemetary. When you open your back door the grave is within 15 feet of your hotel room !!

Nice older motel with lots of amenities - refrigerator, nice hot tub and heated pool, good hot/cold breakfast, close to Butterfly habitat, lighthouse, and 17 mile drive, and free burger/dog BBQ in the evening (we skipped to go to dinner in Carmel.) Staff was nice. Deer and hummingbirds out the patio slider. A little dated but very nice otherwise.

Overall it was great. There is a wine and cheese event, a BBQ and breakfast in the morning. If you have children, the idea and ease of eating there was a major bonus. The hotel is not the most up to date. But it was clean and comfortable. And it is within 2 minutes of great beaches and tidepools. A definite bonus!

We had a great stay at this lodge. Were is a little disappointed with housekeeping as they were slow and disorganised but overall would recommend this to anyone. The location is perfect for the strolling guest, breakfast very good and the sleep was fantastic. Keep it up and we will be back.

I enjoy the staff. Breakfast and afternoon meal are substantial and tasty. The Lodge is next to Mt. Carmelo cemetery, which doesn't bother me but only adds to the peace and quiet. Rooms are spacious and well kept, with sliding glass doors and a small area to sit outside the room. My room had microwave, fridge, TV, a nice bath/shower combo, and a fireplace. […] The one negative, and I hate to be negative because I enjoy this place so much, is that this is the second time I have stayed at the Lodge and been told that the WiFi was down. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room has its own control for heat and a/c which is very convient. Attended a workshop here and the staff were extremely pleasant to work with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lighthouse. The room was spacious and clean with a big bathroom and Jacuzzi tub; comfortable couch and chair with a cozy warm fireplace and the bed was also comfortable. The full breakfast served every morning was very good and the afternoon wine and snack time was enough food that we didn't even go out to dinner. The […] lodge is close enough to walk to the beach or the lighthouse. We would definitely recommend this lodge and would love to stay there again on our next visit to Pacific Grove. 더 보기

Booked a suite and they put us in a king reg. room. Said thats what we booked and the suites were all full. Hotel.com tried to call them but they just left them on hold. Hotel.com gave us credit and would of found us a suite at another hotel but we did not want to move. Not happy with what the hotel did to us but very happy with hotel.com.

When we arrived, the room was very cold. We turned the heater on, and it was still too cold after four hours. The office staff kindly lent us their space heater, which solved the problem. After the room reached the proper temperature, the regular heater was able to keep it warm enough. Also, in several places, paint was peeling in the room and bathroom. […] A stuffed chair looked uncleaned. Not every building has ice, though signs indicate so. The two soda machines i tried took my money, gave no soda, then returned only part of what I put in. The office staff refunded my money and gave me two free sodas. The staff was very helpful every time I needed them. This motel is not what it used to be, but the location still can't be beat. People who stay there need to know that the dinner closes at 5:45 p.m.--early for a tourist area. 더 보기

A short walk out the front takes you to a beautiful beach/natural area. An early morning walk followed by breakfast was a fabulous way to start the day.

Room was wondeful and better yet, the full breakfast eggs were fantastic.

We stayed at the Suites. From the reviews, it sounds like the better place of the 2. The walkway in front of the room was wet & made the tile entryway slippery. The children's socks were very dirty from walking on the carpet. The bathroom was clean. The kids loved the whirlpool tub. The food was good for the full breakfast, but the amount of food varied […] depending on your menu selection. There was a musty smell in the room with the toilet. There was enough room for 2 adults & 3 young kids with the king bed & the pull-out couch. It's right down the street from the ocean and the Butterfly Sanctuary. 더 보기

Have stayed here 4 times now and have always enjoyed the stay and the area. Nice walk to the beach. Also love watching the deer in the cemetary next door.

The mattres was not very comfortable (lacked support and was in need of replacement)

It is a nice place. nice heated pool and hot tub. have a free barbecue in the evening and free continental breakfast with real eggs. the room is nice too and the bed is extremely soft. I would stay again definately.

We had a nice quiet room with patio, a short walk to the beach. We were there to bike so stayed only one night. Included for the convenience was full breakfast with eggs, potatoes, oatmeal (seems thin though), toast, coffee, juice, bananas. We didn't eat dinner but great if you don't want to go out; there is hamburger & hot dog, cookies, chips. At […] breakfast, we ate early at 7:15 but by 8:30 it got very busy and a little short of tables indoor. The pool looked clean but we didn't use it. 더 보기

The hotel is really charming and comfortable. The rooms have a great space, with beautiful decoration. There are also wild animals in the surroundings, which makes the experience really interesting. The service is also really good, the recepcionists/front desk employees are very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend it it you want a place to […] rest or to have a romantic weekend. Had a wonderful stay at the Lighthouse Lodge and Suites and enjoyed a free upgrade on the room. The staff was friendly and the place was fun! A very nice diversion from "standard" lodging that I am used to. The place had nice character.

Got there and the room and the hotel is pretty much what it show online. Don't expect too much from it. Hollow wall and the carpet feel kind of dirty. The bed was okay, got a good night sleep, but I think because we don't have anyone stay around us. The bathroom is just like my old apartment. Reminded me back in the days. Overall, it okay.
