빌라 보마르셰 (Villa Beaumarchais) - 파리

프랑스는 이번이 첫 여행으로 설레는 마음으로 호텔을 예약했습니다. 호텔은 사진으로 보는것보다는 조금 구석진 곳에 있고 정문이 골목 왼쪽 벽으로 붙어있어 처음에는 찾기가 쉽지 않았지만 외관과는 달리 서비스도 매우 좋고, 지하철역과도 가까워 교통에 대한 부담은 전혀 없었습니다. 호텔골목을 나오면 마트, 레스토랑, 약국, 지하철, 버스정류장 등이 있구요. 저희는 2명이 생활하였는데 침대도 넓직했고, 욕실도 넓고 좋았습니다. 아침 9시가 넘으면 청소를 해주시는것 같더라구요. 조금 불편했던것은 저희가 생활했던 침대 중앙부분이(오래된 침대처럼 꺼져있는) 들어가있어서 둘이자면 중앙으로 모이게되는... ㅋㅋ 그거빼곤 모두 좋았습니다. 아참, […] 호텔에서 걸어서 5분정도 가면 피카소 박물관, 성당, 작은 공원이 있구요. 그리고 호텔 길건너편에넌 저희가 좋아하는 햄(프로슈토 같은 고기같이 생긴 햄)샐러드와 치즈파스타를파는데요! 정말 맛있습니다!! 페투치니 면에 정말 크림을 듬뿍, 더욱 놀란것은 밥그릇 같은 유리그릇에 치즈를 수북히 담아 주길래 물어봤더니 치즈를 파스타, 샐러드에 마음껏 뿌려 먹으라고 주시더라구요. 다른가게도 그런지모르겠지만 ㅋ 저희는 처음가본거라 ㅋㅋ 여튼 맛도 맛이고, 따뜻한 햇살을 받으며 와인과 맥주와 음식을 야외에서 먹으니 참 좋더라구요, 이건 식당후기가 되었네요. ㅋㅋ 그리고 저희는 아침식사는 신청하지 않았지만 지하에 넓은 식당이 있더라구요. 아무튼 호텔근처에는 편의시설이 잘 되어있구요 주저리 주저리 쓰느라 말이 앞뒤가 잘 안맞는듯 하지만 이번 프랑스 여행에서 호텔도 중심가에서 가까운곳에 잡아 피곤하지 않게 마음껏 밤에도 돌아다닐 수 있었구요, 서비스는 정말 굳! 이었습니다. 특기 프론트에 계셨던 잘생기신(저스틴팀버레이크 닮은) 남자 직원분과 친절하게 질문에 답해주셨던 나이가 조금 드신 여성 직원분 정말 좋았습니다. 프랑스 첫 여행에 좋은 추억을 만들 수 있게 편안한 휴식처가 되어서 좋았습니다. 더 보기

I visited this hotel July 11th 2011 to 16th. Hotel was in the very good place between two metro station, and good to go to other famous places. and easy to find. The advantage is good location and kind staffs. and disadvantage is bad smell.... and a little old facilities. Summing up, it is good.

I want to say it is good enough to people who wnat to visit here. And want to mention that people should know. (I will only mention I do not like but which does not mean hotel is bad. hotel is good enough to stay) 1. Location is also so so (close to Subway but not very close to things which many tourist go) 2. It is always too much smell at the hotel. […] means not stinky but too strong perfume smell 3. Double bed is not double bed. it was too single and put together to make double bed. so there is curve or groove at the ceter of bed so not very comfortable if you stay with your partner or wife or husband. 4. no slipper and no toothpast <--- but I think most of the hotel at paris also do not have it 5. breakfast is around 14 euro ( I think it is expensive but other hotel also offer breakfast with this price or more expensive so but just you know) 6. If you order they will bring hot water so if you are asian or ok to have noddle soup as breakfast bring them and order hot water. it is free of charge I'm tipical Korean man and as korean man these things I mentioned above is good things to know before you stay there. We were so pleased with our choice, especially the location. In the heart of the Marais district, within a short walk to the beautiful Place des Vosges, there were cafes, restaurants and attractions all around us, and a selection of Metro stations to get us anywhere we didn't walk to. The hotel entrance is down a small sidestreet - Rue des Arquebusiers, […] off the large Boulevard Beaumarchais. On one end of Beaumarchais is the Place Bastille, a very interesting hub, which includes lovely old cobbled streets and an open air fresh food market, well worth a visit. The hotel itself is picturesque, clean and very much as described. The staff were all very friendly, appreciating my attempts to speak French, but didn't mind at all that we spoke English and they were quite conversant in the language. There wasn't anyone who didn't provide courteous service and greet us with a friendly smile. I can't recommend them enough. Room rates for our stay (right before Spring and cold) were very reasonable and we were satisfied with the value. If there was a downside, in the interest of full disclosure, the room was tiny and did not include a dresser or any type of drawers for clothes. The closet was small, but adequate. Because other amenities were good and the bathroom had everything we could need, including heated towel bars and good water pressure, it wasn't a huge issue. We spent so little time in the room anyway. My husband and I would definitely stay here again. 더 보기

Hotel Beaumarchais is a nice hotel located in the Marais area with many restaurants and lovely shopping. Also, you are conveniently located to access all sites of Paris. The breakfast at the hotel was 14 Euro pp and totally not worth it. Instead, take a morning stroll towards Bastille and across the street you will find cafes with a wonderful breakfast […] for less than half that price. Here is how to get to the hotel from the airport CDG: If you arrive by plane take the RER train from CDG to Gare du Nord (costs about 10 Euro) and from there change to Metro nr 8 towards Place D-italie and get off at "Bastille". Once exiting the metro, follow signs "Rue Beaumarchais" and exit there. Walk up the street about 5-8 minutes and the hotel will be on your right hand side on a small road Rue Arquebusiers. 더 보기

Clean and nicely furnished hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful and speak excellent English if your French is a bit rusty. Close to 3 metro stations. Best is Bastille for connecting to see the city. Get Chemin Vert if you're laden with luggage. If you fancy a walk you can get to Notre Dame in 25 mins or so.

It was good hotel in a good location (5min walk form bastille) and a minute's walk from Chemin Vert station. The condition of the hotel was good but the carpet in the room was in terrible condition with bad stains.. The room however was cleaned and in good condition when we got back to the hotel. This Hotel was excellent value for money. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I know it has had mixwd reviews - but I can only speak as I found it, and I was not disappointed. It's location is good - just a 3-4 minute walk from the Chemin Vert metro stop. I would certainly stay here again.

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Was a little disappointed that the advertised fireplace was not lit for the holidays. No microwave and refrigerator didn't work. With jet lag, i tend to wake up in the middle of the night and want something cold to drink. The Villa Beaumarchais is a cut above similar places in the Marais, the neighborhood in which it's located, and the prices consequently are higher. The premium buys larger rooms, much more quiet, and a low-key attentiveness. It's a deceptively small hotel, with more rooms than some of the other boutique-sized places. It is also a little more out-of-the-way […] and requires a slightly longer walk from the usual suspects in terms of key Metro lines (#1 for example, whose nearest stop is St. Paul). It's a long walk to Place de la Bastille, and a cab is a must to or from Gare de Lyon. The breakfast is typical, and more than adequate, but a short walk to cafés near the Place des Vosges are a better deal, and the scenery far more interesting. The rooms are elegant without being ostentatious, and the usual amenities prevail. Wi-Fi is readily available and barely adequate technically, providing a bare-bones level of service and bandwidth—no deal-breaker. The best value is represented in the discount we got for a three-night (or better) stay. Otherwise, I am not sure of the attraction. At the full rate, there is far more competition. 더 보기

it is a nice hotel with cheap price comparing to others, the location is very good,only with a few minutes walk you can reach the metro. we also found a very good japanese restaurant near the hotel which is called "le sun", and different french restaurants surrounding the hotel. The room size was wonderful - much larger than expected. However, the heat was not operating...it was broken in that room only and there was a black mark (smoke damage) above the thermostat. On the 2nd night, we complained because it was December and about 40 degrees outside. We were told the hotel did not have a "technician" and after 2 hours passed, […] we were brought a space heater to use. The bathroom was rather awkward and poorly laid out. The Hotel has a great location, in the close to Le Marais. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice. I must admit i had doupts after reading some reviews, but I would recomend it! Very good alternative to all the very expensive hotels you can find in Paris.

While the rooms could use a new coat of paint and new carpet, they were very quiet. Wifi had a very poor signal. Staff was very friendly, even printed out walking directions fromthe internet for us. The neighborhood is upscale and very quiet. Lots of high end clothings tores and galleries. a number of good restaurants on side streets.

I almost hate to give this review because I'd rather keep this hotel a secret from everyone but here goes....we loved it! My husband and I go to Paris every year and have stayed at lots of different hotels and apartments but VB is our new favorite. I have just spent eight nights at the Villa Beaumarchais in Paris. It is a charming small hotel in a quiet area of the Marais. The location is great as it is close to Place de la Bastille and all kinds of metro connections. Don't count on the free Wifi, though. The connection is very slow. The problem was: you can't be allergic to anything, mainly dust, carpets, rugs, curtains, etc because the hotel is full of this, even the walls and the lift have carpet cover. The staff didn't know anything about metro, bus for tourist, nothing. Everything else was ok. Far away from a 4 star hotel.

This was a good little hotel in the east side of Paris. While 4 stars are a bit of a stretch the hotel was clean and nice. The staff was exceptional and overall the hotel was a good quick stay.

The quietest hotel I have ever stayed in Paris. Rooms were sufficient size and roomy by Paris standards. I would definately stay here again.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel, but more like a 2 - 3 star standard. The interieur is old. Tiles were cracked in the bathroom and paint is falling from the walls. The best thing is the hotel location. Quiet street in the centre of Paris. Close to all the landmarks and just a short bus journey from Gare du Nord. My stay at Villa Beaumarchais made me feel llke I was a Parisian. This boutique hotel is situate in a lovely neighborhood in the 3rd District which is off the beaten path but surrounded by some nice museums, restaurants & markets. It was also very convenient to the Metro so all of the sites were within a few minutes of our hotel. Make sure you visit […] the local markets to purchase your wine, bread and cheese. My only constructive critism of the hotel would be that there is no coffee maker in the hotel, and the breakfast is not worth the price. Positives first: the location is great and the neighbourhood very quiet. Hotel staff extremely helpful and pleasant. However, the room was in desperate need of refurbishment. For a four star hotel the state of the carpet and the broken tiles in the bathroom were a disgrace. I got the feeling that because this was a good rate, you got put in the rooms […] that were in a mess. HARD TO BELIEVE THIS IS A 4 STAR HOTEL - HAD FRIENDS STAYING AT A 5 STAR AND THE DIFFERENCE WAS IMMENSE - NOT JUST A ONE STAR GAP BUT A THREE STAR GAP. I can see where people were unimpressed with the slightly outdated decor... but I have to say, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, the bed was comfy, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel lists itself in the Marais but really its a bit far removed from the hustle and bustle of the 4th. I was okay with the small hotel room as typical of Paris, but NOT okay with the moisture that crept through the bedroom wall everytime the shower was on, and the subsequent mold stains on the rug from said moisture. Very stylish hotel with late 19th century flavour and delightful indoor-garden restaurant/bar below ground level, on the L-bend of a tiny back street, just off Blvd Beaumarchais on the outer edge of the Marais. This hotel was a disappointment. It does not come close to a four star hotel. The entrance to the hotel was fronted by garbage bins. The lobby was run-down. The service was attentive and helpful. Just be aware that the hotel is a bit dated (slightly faded carpets, paint etc), but is very well kept and very comfortable, in addition to being just a minute walk from a metro stop. I would definitely stay again.

After looking at various other hotels, we decided to book this one and we are so glad that we did. The room was very spacious (we actually had room to spare) and there was a bathtub shower combo which has never been my experience in Europe. The staff was very helpful and spoke English well. The neighborhood was quiet and the hotel was about two blocks […] from a metro stop which was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed for a few days and was pleased with the room and its size. It was better than I expected. The hotel staff was very helpful and I liked that my room had a small safe to hold my valuables. The only thing that I didn't like was that they don't offer hair conditioner and cups. Otherwise, I liked my stay and will stay there again.

I would recommend the hotel for a short visit. It has a great location walking distance from the river and notre dame. The rooms are clean but small in a French stile. The hotel needs some renovation.
