We were very happy staying at this hotel. Everything was excellent, including the breakfasts! Our room was very comfortable and quiet, the staff were extremely helpful and the proximity to transport couldn't be better. We had a lovely dinner at Gauchos, the restaurant in the basement of the hotel, excellent too! We had a great time at the Christmas […] markets as well.....all up, a most enjoyable stay in Cologne. Positive: Close to city centre and shops, tram stop in front, price. Very good breakfast buffet with different choices of bread (even wholegrain slices), fresh salmon, different choices of jam, honey, cinnamon, fresh fruit etc. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. Negative: This seems to be an area where youngsters go out drinking, at day […] it's fine but in the evening/night there are lots of drunk people. We woke up at 6.30am Sunday morning when someone drunk knocked on all the doors on our floor, made noise and tried to enter. This went on for some time so there was no more sleep. (We got compensated with a free breakfast from the friendly staff.) You can hear people partying and screaming outside, the tram is very loud. You CANNOT leave the window open, there's too much noise, really. The small rooms are VERY small and the beds not comfy. Maybe a good choice during the week or for very young people who go out anyway and don't need much sleep. We booked it also because it had a garage for an acceptable price but when we arrived it was full. We were lucky and got a space in front of the hotel which is free over the weekend and staff said they'd have an eye on it. They were really nice. 더 보기

Perfect place to overnight. Located right next to three different undeground lines and near the touristy spots. Very friendly staff.

I would not recommend this hotel during the summer when it is hot. The hotel is located near a lot of nightlife full of young partyers. We did not get any sleep. The room was hot and stuffy, so we had to open the windows. It was still hot even with the windows open, and the small fan did nothing to help. Because the windows were open, we could hear […] everything from sirens to the trams just across from the hotel to the drunken revelers. 街の中心部にあり、どこにいくにも地下鉄が目の前にあるので便利。朝食は１階で用意されるが布設のレストランはない。その代り隣のアルゼンチンレストランと提携しており、このレストランが結構有名店らしい。全体的には値段の割には満足できるサービス

Wir, junges Paar 22&23 jahre, verbrachten einige Tage in Köln. Die Lage direkt am Barbarossaplatz mit Anbindung an das Straßenbahnnetz macht es perfekt für Ausflüge. Nur der ständige Lärm der S-Bahn kann unter umständen stören; Fenster zu und gut ist. Rezeption ist immer besetzt so dass man auch zu unüblichen Zeiten immer schnell in sein Zimmer kommt. Frühstück […] und Restaurant haben wir leider nicht benutzt. Preis/Leistung in diesem Hotel ist super; wir können dieses Hotel für diejenigen, die das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen oder ähnlichem benötigt nur empfehlen. 더 보기

The Ambassador hotel is located near Barbarossaplatz, and it is very easy to get to. Lots of interesting restaurants are in the vicinity and it's nice to walk around there - which seems to a Cologne standard. Hotellet ligger ved trafikk knutepunkt for offentlig transport. som gjør det til et greitt utgangspunkt for og reise rundt i byen. Grei internett tilgang (ekstra avgift) og eget parkerings hus(ekstra avgift).

Buchung sowie Ein- und Auschecken haben wunderbar geklappt, das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, sauber und gepflegt, allerdings ist das Hotel - durch die Lage am großen Verkehrsknotenpunkt Barbarossaplatz - sehr laut. Wenn man allerdings die Fenster schließt, ist nicht mehr viel zu hören.

Hotel ist zu empfehlen, wir können über den service die Lage die Zimmer nicht negatives sagen. 13,50 € für eine Nacht in der eigenen Tiefgarage finde ich allerdings recht heftig.

Zimmer musste zuerst gelüftet werden. Doch das Hotel war super zweckmässig. An super Lage und ein sehr gutes Restaurant "El Gaucho" unten drin. Lockere Atmosphäre. WLAN gegen bezahlung :(

Rooms and common facilities were very good. Personnel was kindfull and they did very delicious breakfast. Only negative thing was that mattress was too stiff. Location is perfect for city holiday... I recommend hotel also others!

A nice hotell in good location at barbarossaplatz. Very close to tram, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Since the tram is close to the hotel it can be a bit noisy, but you have to take the good with the bad :) Small room, very small bathroom, comfy bed. Very clean. If you do not need a big room this a good hotel. For me it was perfect. I did not […] plan to stay in the room anyway. Good breakfast. Different kind of bread, cerials, egg, bacon, cheese, ham, vegtables, fruit, yoghurt, juice, coffee, tea. All you need. One negative thing is that the wifi was not for free. (Not in my deal) 더 보기

Perfekt hotell med riktigt bra kommunikation. Tunnelbanestationer som gick rakt utanför dörren och "nära till allt". Hotellet ligger mitt i ett livligt restaurangkvarter med härligt utbud av tysk mat. Den argentinska restaurangen bredvid hotellet var fantastiskt. Det negativa med hotellet var den stenhårda sängen. De badkamer was erg klein, en onze matrassen behoorlijk hard maar dat is een ieder voor zich.

A good hotel with excellent staff, but the double room was as small as a little single room. Luckly, I'm not a big guy, because if I were, I would have had problem turning around in the room, let alone in the bath room. You really can't offer such rooms as double rooms!
