There are more updated hotels in the area with better breakfast but it was convenient and had available rooms. We stayed at this property years ago and it was, of course, in much better condition. We went for 2 night stay, we had to wait for you room at 330pm to be ready. We had several activities planned for our trip and was going to use the pool as evening or in-between activity. Well after we got there and checked in, we found out the pool was being worked on, so the kids were bummed. They offered YMCA passes but its a pain to load the car […] up drive over check in swim and do it all again in reverse order. One of the reason we choice this hotel was for the pool. They also have some construction going on for remodeling, and the guys well some are creepy with no manners. I was not satisfied with our recent stay at Wingate, St. Charles. The tub was not clean, the chair and stool in the room were dirty, the bed was not comfortable, the morning breakfast of eggs on toast was cold and the toast was so hard it could not be eaten. The personnel at the desk were very nice but that was the best part. The police had to be called […] due to workers (19), who are there to refurbish the outside of the building, were having a B-B-Q and drinking beer...all that was fine until they were drunk, loud, using fowl language and the police were called. The floors and carpets in the lobby were dirty. Our room smelled like the door had not been opened in years. It smelled musty and stale and old. HVAC unit cycled every 20 minutes for 30 sec all nite! Room was very cold, sheets very rough, worst pillows I have ever slept upon. No one bad thing, just was unimpressed.

The tub in our room was still dirty. We found out later it was because the drain was partially clogged. The hotel had great potential and at the moment it was under construction, way different from Wyndham hotels but for what I paid not worth it. Rust in the door screws loose, lamp not functional over all just was not satisfied.

The couch had stains on it. The tubs had rust in them, and the breakfast was less than desirable. But you get what you pay for.

My husband and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a nice place. The room was great and service was good for the most part. However, The amenities list a hot tub and, since it was our honeymoon and we were kids-free, that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. This hotel was right off the freeway which was why we chose it on our way through town. But it was pretty grungy, our room had mysterious red spots on the wall, and you could tell it needed some cleaning TLC. But the staff was fine and it served the purpose we needed it to.

From the time we checked in until the time we took the shuttle to Lambert Airport the staff treated us as if we were family. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was a good one. We stay here all the time for park and fly. The staff are always prompt and friendly, we've never missed a flight. The hotel is clean. We take early flights so can't comment on breakfast or work out facility.

Jacuzzi was out. Wifi did not work in our room, front desk said our room was too far from the signal. AC/heat unit - fan had a continuous squeak. Not the best... Pool was nice though.

We have stayed here several times and appreciate the location. My only complaint this time was with the WIFI access. I was having trouble logging in to the hotel's wifi and when I called the front desk to inquire if they were having a problem I was told that our room was on the edge of their wifi and I was welcome to come to the lobby to use it.
