My stay was very comfortable. My room was great, with a nice view and very quiet. Fridge, coffee makers provided, which was very nice (principally the fridge). I do have a complain and that is that you have to pay a ridiculously high charge per day if you want to use their wireless internet, in the room OR in the lobby. This hotel (as others of the […] same kind) should provide internet free of charge. We are paying enough for those rooms and charging a ridiculous high fee is just tacky. I will not stay in this hotel again because of that, not because I can't pay for it, but because it is bad service in my opinion. You could go to the Starbucks across the street or go a few floors down to the food court and get free wireless, but the Hyatt charges if you want to use it ANYWHERE in their premises using your own computer. It is not like it costs anymore more to them whether you use it or not. I know of other hotels in the area that have wireless included in their rates. That's where I'll go next time. If need to be, charge me a bit more for the room but include the internet!! 더 보기

This hotel is ideally located walking distance to many attractions and easy access to subway. Loved the decor and views.

The Hyatt Regency is a great value located close to Old Montreal, which is perfect considering that most of the other hotels in the neighborhood are of the "boutique" variety and quite expensive. The family and I were happy with the facilities and location of the Hyatt Regancy Montreal. The kids loved the indoor pool.

Linen is not good and too expensive price

We stayed here to attend a concernt at L'astral - best possible location, you can see the lineup forming from many of the hotel windows. Hotel is fine - comfy beds and very well insulated so no street noise. Friendly staff, nice rooms

Nice place but you dont get a free breakfast or internet like Hotels.com tells you

Everythings was OK except front desk! I needed a nail cliper but he told me nobody can't bring you , u have to pick it up yourself , What's Hotel mean ???

The first impression was amazing! Beautiful lobby and bar. I thought wow are rooms must be amazing but..... As soon as we got off the elevator the hallways were MEH!!! Not at all like the main lobby. We loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were a little small but the unique design made them very inviting. The room was ultra-clean as was the entire property. My boyfriend and I wanted to shop while we were in Montreal so the Hyatt Regency was the perfect location - right off of St. Catherine St. It was very cold so we were glad that there was a nice bar / restaurant in the hotel. The food was great and I was a fan of the modern decor.

I spent 2 nights at the Hyatt Regency in Montreal and I have nothing but great things to say about the hotel. The only thing I would like that my room sisn't have was a bar type fridge. My only other little concern is the elevator system they have. You take one elevator from the main lobby to your room. The hotel was very comfortable and convenient, but I would not recommend it because of the unacceptable long waits for the elevators, typically of the order of 15 minutes. Worse, it was not even possible to use the stairs which would have been more convenient for occupants on the lower floors of the hotel.

Very clean with super nice modern decoration and style. Very convenient location close to shopping, the port and the Vieux Montréal.

Excellent central location. Walking distance to downtown Montreal. The room had a great view of the city. The service was very good. We had 4 people to a room with 1 king size bed. I called for an extra cot and was pleasantly surprised that there was no extra charge for it. The furnishings in the room is a little dated but the bed was comfortable. I […] loved the duvet comforter, very nice touch. Although I didn't get a chance to use the swimming pool but from what I can see, it was one of the nicest pools that I had seen in any hotels that I have ever stayed at. Only complaint is the parking. It was $30.00/day for valet parking with in and out privileges or $19.00 flat with no in and out privileges. I would have hoped that parking would be complimentary. The location is great but you'll have add $30/day for parking. My room's AC is at the lowest setting no matter what I did. The table is broken and rocked side to side when used it. I also suspect someone took our car out for a spin for one of the nights.

Great location in downtown. Will book for next yeats August long weekend.

we stayed at the hotel over the jazz festival. I must say that the hyatt we have stayed before, the staff is much warmer. The 2nd check in girl was a lot nicer. We had to wait for our rooms for 3 hours. By the time we got the room and relaxed a bit, we had missed the whole day doing nothing. Then came check out. We got charged twice, once on our credit […] card when we booked and again when we checked out. We were almost about 20 min away from the town when i realized that we had been overcharged. We drove back and found out that it was and error. I demanded to speak to the manager, he was apologetic. We were over an hour late to our due to this. The manager did not have courtesy to offer us maybe a cold drink or something. I must say, i have been the club member for a while and never seen that kind of etiquette with a manager. I had to ask the manager to see if my key still worked at the lounge which he did escort us, but when we got there, nothing to eat or drink. He knew that I was thirsty, but just watched us leave. I will not recommend this hotel because of the attitude of the older staff. They also need training in cultral diversity. Very uptight and snobish staff. If you do not post this, at least do the courtesy of passing on this to your superiors. I work in customer service and I know that they really need training in that. 더 보기

Stayed @ hotel in June, 2011. Great location for shopping, theatre and most of all, old Montreal (Port de Montréal). If you can get a great deal at this hotel, don't hesitate to book it. Service was quick and professional.

Overall I am not complaining about this hotel, I had a very comfortable stay there. It's very close to subway line, and perfect location. Only thing is I was expecting the 4 star quality, which is not quite there.

Wi-fi not included in the room charge. Expect to pay for every single extra. The management would not make any compromise to please their clients. One night (hockey night) the TV signal was down and they won't offer anything to make up for the inconvenience. Next time I'm staying at Hilton Bonaventure.

The hotel was remarkable clean and updated and the service was phenomenal. It is in the perfect location downtown Montreal to the main metro station and to walk anywhere.

I travel around the world with my business - and to find that in Canada, there are no English signs in the hotel is amazing. You cannot even find the right floor in the elevator as it is located in a large shopping complex - and to get to the ground level - you need to get out at level 3 - yet there is no way of knowing this. This must be the only […] Hyatt in the world where there are no signs in English. Come on Hyatt - surely you can put a few hints in English - or in some other way - to get around the biszzare Quebec language laws. 더 보기

Hotel lobby and other areas being remodeled and because of it they did not have a guest computer to use to check my email accounts. That was the only negative. Otherwise a relaxing stay.....

We had a good time at the Hyatt Regency hotel. A very nice room at a decent price. Elevators were being a bit noisy during the night, but nothing that would keep us awake. We will really consider the Hyatt first when going back to Montreal.

Very nice room. Pool was great as was the sauna and steam room. For the money, I highly recommend this hotel.

Parking: Not clear when you get their. Valet for 35$ per day or 19 buck do it yourself... 19 ended up being the price for two days parked under the Hotel/Mall... Room: Average/Below average. Remote was dead, toilet not cleaned, sheets smelled like bleach, but otherwise fairly renovated and worth the price. Location: Seriously, no need for car. 4 minute […] walk to Metropolis to catch Broken Social Scene, 7 minute walk to the Eaton Center, right across the street from the Art Gallery where there's usually stuff on display outside. Best location for being able to catch a concert and shop. Otherwise, f you're up for partying, then get a room closer to Crecent as it's about a 14 minute walk straight from Hyatt. BUT there's a food court, General Store, etc on the 3rd floor of the mall, so this place is self sufficient unlike other Hotels. 더 보기

The location of this hotel is perfect - one of the best places to be in Montreal, St. Catherine Street. In the room there was indication that Hyatt was building a new hotel. Hopefully not to replace this one.

Standard hotel room for a standard price: nothing special here. Things to watch out for include absurdly long waits at the reception desk (when I checked in, there was only one person working at the desk, but at least two others pretending to be busy pushing papers and stacking keys, etc.) and the inconvenient elevators (one takes you from the street […] to reception, another bank of elevators takes you from reception to the rooms: be prepared for long lines and long waits at the latter). We got there pretty late and only stayed one night so are interactions were limited. However the hotel staff we encountered were very pleasant. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room had a great view. Over all the size of the room was pretty big too. The hotel itself is in a great location, at the bottom of St Catherine's St. […] Hotel itself was nice, seemed new, and well kept up.
