Very comfortable, well furnished room. Friendly, helpful staff. Location just a block from Paddington and next to Hyde Park would be quite convenient for an extended stay. Talbot Square itself is quiet and attractive. There's a little bar just off the lobby, and the hotel serves a full-scale English breakfast. Not quite the same standard as the Langham (where I generally stay when I'm in London on business), but quite comfortable and convenient, for a fraction of the price. I have tested several hotels in the area and this one was quite nice. Can recommend it.

We received a room in the basement opposite to the elevator and the breakfast room. So at 5am the squeeky elevatordoors started opening and closing and the kitchen staff ran back and forth with carts etc just outside our room. And the room door was not sound proof... Other than that the hotel was nice with a good location.

the room was nice the staff were friendly and the location was only five minute walk from Hyde park. I would use this hotel again and reccommend it to others.

Hotel was near paddington station and it was easy to get to the tube and the rest of london. If u travel from Heathrow, a gd hotel to travel to. And affordable.

How this hotel ever got a 4 star rating defeats me. The room we were originally assigned had a toilet which wouldn't flush properly; the porter who came to inspect it said that it was normal as the water could be slow. Our room was upgraded (against the wishes of the rather surly receptionist) but even the executive rooms were of a poor standard. Do […] not stay here. 더 보기

This hotel is one of many, many converted private homes near Paddington Station. Most are cheap and "are rubbish" (in the words of the woman who rescued us by recommending a nearby wonderful, albeit more expensive hotel called The Commodore.) The Quality was no exception. The elevator stopped working while we were there, apparently a recurrent problem, […] and was not fixed for over one hour. One group of tourists were waiting in the lobby for an hour to speak to the manager about some problem and were very upset. Another woman checking in complained that her room was dirty and the fan didn't work (even though the hotel is advertized as air conditioned, which is wasn't.) We had to walk up five flights of stairs to get to our room (someone did come to carry up the luggage.) The room was tiny, not particularly clean and had a smell of sewerage. The televison didn't work. The poor young woman at the desk who was the only employee in the place for most of the two hours we were there did the best she could in an impossible situation with so many people complaining but began to look frantic until another fellow showed up from the nearby sister hotel. He also tried to be helpful and was apologetic but unfortunately this didn't compensate for the awfulness of the place. This is a one to two star hotel at best, its only advantage being that it is within walking distance of Paddington. 더 보기

When I arrived at my room I was nicely surprised to see a label on the door that said, Club Room'. Everywhere else I have stayed, this means a little bigger room, better facilities and overall more inline for a business traveller. I loved the hotel in all, location ,cleanliness, staff bar, room was all perfect for us. Rooms are not huge huge rooms but then if it a short stay why would you complain you are there to shower and sleeo who cares for the size?? beats me! staff speak excellent english and check in an out process very ealisy done. WILL STAY AGAIN

The room is small but the bed (double twin) is ok for one person. The bed is comfortable. The curtain is long and blocks all lights, which not all hotel can do. The worst thing is the water flow, which is extremely slow. A four star hotel at this price could have been much better.

We had 3 of us staying in this room and it wasn't too small as you would expect for a hotel in Europe. It was clean and not in a noisy area. The front desk personel was exceptionally polite and helpful.

Ett hotell att rekommendera. 5 minuter till Paddington Station. 5 minuter till Hyde Park. Stor frukost med allt från engelsk frukost, juicer, olika bröd, trevlig personal. Dubbelrummen stora breda sängar, fint badrum, rummet inte onödigt stort, men man ska ju bara sova där. Hjälpsam personal. Vi kommer att boka detta igen.

Smal dubbelsäng är en överdrift. En 120 cm bred säng skall inte klassas som dubbelsäng. Vistelsen i London blev botten för oss två tack vare dålig sömn i en enkelsäng.

Hotellets läge är kanon, nära till Paddington station och tunnelbanan och Big Bus Tour har en hållplats i närheten. Rummet vi fick var väldigt litet, rummen varierar dock i storlek. Det var fräscht och rent och frukosten var helt ok. Nästa gång jag åker till London kan jag absolut tänka mig att bo på det här hotellet igen.

Helt greit når det gjelder pris og beliggenhet men super lytt . Hørte hva naboen sa og gjorde gjennom veggen .Spiste ikke frokost på hotellet da det kan skaffes rimeligere og sikkert bedre frokost andre steder. Men du får hva du betaler for . Kommer nok til å betale mere for hotellrom neste gang vi skal til London

This is a nice little hotel near Paddington station and Hyde Park in London. Taxi to Oxford street and Piccadilly cirkus for around 9 pounds. The hotel has ok standard with it`s own little bar. Friendly and helpful staff and ok rooms. Some rooms a bit small but you can order larger rooms. Nice furniture and beds. Bathrooms a bit outdated but not too […] bad. Some has shower only and some with bathtub. The hotel has elevator but it`s a slow one. English breakfast is available. A bit tired of egg and bacon if you stay many nights though.. The hotel is fair priced to it`s standard. Would certainly concider visiting it again. 더 보기

Bra hotell, lite off, men till sin fördel, Ingen direkt trafik utanför. Nära till Paddington och därifrån allt.... Ok frukost. Hade önskat större rum, men fullt tillräckligt för en vuxen med barn. Man sover ju nästan bara där. Trevlig personal.

Hotellet ligger centralt men samtidigt på en väldigt lugn gata. Bra valuta för pengarna även om det rummet jag fick var väldigt litet och varmt (i oktober!).

Hyvä hotelli hyvällä paikalla, ystävällinen palvelu, runsas aamiainen. Huone oli pieni, mutta palveli tarpeitamme hyvin :)

The hotel was tidy and nicely located, but the service was poor. The reception staff was quite reluctant to recommend restaurants to us. The poorest thing though were the breakfast service: a crowd of people queued into the breaffast room about 15-20 min before the ending of breakfast. Most of them were turned away, because "there's no room and you […] came too late" - and still a bit later they let a couple in. Very unpolite and illogical toward those who came earlier. 더 보기

Die Zimmer sind im Hotel eher sehr klein, doch sauber und gepflegt. Insbesondere funktionieren auch die sanitären Anlagen einwandfrei was ich in England selten erlebt habe. Frühstücksbuffet gut, freundliches Servierprersonal.

Vi gjorde et svært godt valg av hotell. Det er likevel greit å være foreberedt på at rommene er knøttsmå (som vanlig i Engand) og sengen noe i hardeste laget kanskje. Ellers så var frokosten svært bra - det var rent, nyopppusset og svært hyggelig betjening. Svært sentral belliggenhet!

Jämfört med vad man betalar på kringliggande hotell så är detta nog det mest prisvärda. Bra personal, fräscha rum, god frukostbuffé. Det negativa jag kan skriva är att rummen var lite små, inget som störde oss dock. Väggarna var också rätt tunna, man kunde höra när grannen snarkade. Men over and all så är jag grymt nöjd med detta hotell.

Bra läge, väldigt nära hyde park, notting hill och paddington station. Små rum, helt ok frukost. Hjälpsam personal.

Hyggelig hotell å bo på. Betjeningen i resepsjon var imøtekommende, rommene var pene og delikate. Riktignok små, som de oftest er, men rene. Veldig sentralt å bo her og mange hyggelige spisesteder i nærheten. Kan anbefales.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Der frühstücksraum ist sehr klein. Es entstand eine Schlange. Ich musste ca. 10 Minuten warten bis ich in den Frühstücksraum eingelassen worden bin.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt, med kort vei til Paddington station, gang avstand til Oxford Street og Madam Tusaaue. Hyggelig område rundt hotellet. Hotellrommet var helt greit, men veldig lytt til andre rom. Alt i alt et hyggelig hotell med VELDIG GOD SERVICE av hotellpersonalet. Hit kommer vi gjerne igjen.

Værelserne er meget små og har ikke de faciliteter, som ellers fremgår som en del af standardudstyret, fx strygejern. Derudover var der en konstant kloaklugt på badeværelset. Der var overgang i brandalarmen, hvilket resulterede i, at vi blev vækket flere nætter i træk. Hotelpersonalet vidste ikke hvordan de skulle håndtere situationen, hvilket gjorde […] opholdet utrygt. Da vi ydermere 'sneede inde' i December pga. lukkede lufthavnene og måtte forlænge vores ophold, satte de prisen tre gange i vejret. Det lykkes os heldigvis halvvejs i det ufrivilligt forlængede ophold (via hotels.com) at finde et langt bedre hotel til en fin pris. Jeg vil helt klart ikke anbefale dette hotel til nogen! 더 보기

Ok hotell med grei beliggenheit, grei standard og reinhald, einaste minuset ver defekt radiator på badet.

Vårt "dobbeltrom" besto av en seng på 120cm. Den ene av oss måtte opp i sengen for at den andre skulle kunne passere på gulvet. Naboen snorket som om han var i samme rom. Det ble 3 netter med så dårlig komfort at søvnen uteble. Ikke så hyggelig for et par i 50 årene som skulle ha en langhelg i London. Rommet var veldig rent. Det er det eneste som var […] positivt men ikke så veldig viktig dag nr. 3 når man ikke har fått sovet. Vurderte å legge meg på gulvet men vi hadde bare en dyne. 더 보기

Hotellet var akkurat som forventet. Stort rom (Clubroom), med et stort deilig badeværelset. Meget vennlig betjening og god beliggenhet i en stille gate 3 min fra Paddington stasjon. Dyr frokost på hotellet, men mange andre gode muligheter på kafeer like i nærheten. Jeg vil gjerne anbefale hotellet til andre

Hotellet rent och fint. Mycket bra läge nära Paddington station. Väldigt litet rum, smal dubbelsäng gjorde vistelsen något obekväm. Irriterande att internet kostar pengar. Hotellfrukost också ganska dyr.

Hotellet anbefales pga god beliggenhet i sentrale og rolig omgivelser. Det er rent og pent, men minus for manglende varmt vann i dusjen og minus for en skranglete heis.

Mycket bra hotell med god standard. Vi hade bokat 2 rum med 2 enkelsängar. Sängarna var breda och sköna. Många förvaringsutrymmen fanns. Fräscha badrum. Alla faciliteter som behövs fanns på rummen. Lugnt läge på en återvändsgata med en stor park i mitten, som var en skön oas i värmen. Många bra restauaranger och caféer i närheten. 5 minuters promenad […] till Paddingtons järnvägsstation och T-banan. Rekommenenderas gärna till andra. A very good breakfasttable but beware if you have paid for this service separately and having received tickets.Then you are not on the eating list. We had the sad experiance that when eating individually you may ran into being debited for breakfast allthough that you allready have paid. Ett hotell sentralt men likevell passe rolig. Lite støy og bråk. Ikke akkurat noe lixushotell, men ett hotell med grei standard og kvalitet. Har bodd der flere ganger over 4 år, og det gode servicenivået er der forsatt. Anbefales!

Ett centralt hotell med utmärkt standard. Men var beredd på "compact living", rummen är små, men de innehåller ändå allt. Fräscht badrum. Området har gott om snabbmatställen för frukost, som inte ingick i hotellet. Fri trådlöst internet ingår, fungerade bra.

Vi boede på et tre-personers værelse med vores datter på 7 år. Hotellet er rent og personalet venligt. Beliggenhed er OK med kort distance til Hyde Park. At det er rangeret som et 4 stjerne hotel er dog misvisende. Det er et 3 stjerne hotel. Morgenmaden er ikke specielt god, men der er mange hyggelige cafeer i nærheden.

Trevligt centralt hotell nära t-bana och hyde park. Dålig spolning på toalett och lågt vattentryck i duschen för övrigt rent och prydligt.
