The location was perfect. Walking distance to aquarium and shops. Pool was great for the kids. No frills, but clean and convenient.

The room is nice. The Hallway smelled like smoke or wet carpet.

Our room was very musty/moldy smelling, and there were cobwebs in the corner of the room. We tried to air out the room for a few minutes, but it was too strong a smell. The front desk was able to accommodate us with another room. I was told that there was a second room on the first floor that got more sun so it may not be as musty. This led me to believe […] that they were aware of the issue. They had another room on the second floor, which we took, and it did not smell. The toilet got stuck each time we flushed it though. My concern was that the desk clerk said they were completely booked so someone else got that musty room that night, with no other option. 더 보기

While it wasn't a bad place to stay, we had to get our keys rekeyed to get into the room twice, including right after we checked in (guess he didn't do it right), The room had a few ants in the bathroom and was relatively clean but was cleaner the second day we stayed, guess that housekeeper was better. The hotel is located right across the street from Mystic Aquarium and Olde Mystick Village shopping center, and was right down the road from Mystic Seaport Museum. The hotel was average, but had a great price for what we got. They had a heated indoor pool, :) and a small outside space. I've stayed here before and both times I was very pleased with how quiet the rooms were. The place is clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect and there was plenty of parking. I'll be back.

My 12 year old son and I spent one night here. It was a great place to stay. It was very safe for him to walk around on his own. They have a great pool our room had a jacuzzi tub which we loved. great jetted tub with a very clean room, nice people and lots of attractions in the area, had a great time:)

We checked and the desk clerk was very helpful regarding restaurants, places to visit and a quick overview of the town. We needed some help on finding a pharmacy and they were very helpful. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The surrounding rooms were quiet with little noise.

Our double queen room was enormous and comfortable, with high, beamed ceilings and an attached patio. Good-sized bathroom with jetted tub; sinks both inside and outside of bathroom (outside one could be easily reached & used by a 4 year old). I know HoJo's has a great reputation to begin with for an inexpensive stay, but I still had my reservations, so to speak. Although the rate for the room on a weekend in March was extremely reasonable, I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of location--literally right off the highway and across the street from convenience store/gas station. Front […] desk clerk was extremely friendly and accomodating and my room was easily accessible from where I had originally parked. Although it is obviously an older hotel and the design is dated, hallways a little musty but taken care of by an air iodizer, I found the room to be very clean and comfortable w/ all the amenities-microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker-perfect for the special diet needs I have. When I called housekeeping on Saturday to request something I ran out of, they were at my door in literally less than 5 min. Wow! Everything was pre-paid and there were no problems checking in/out or during my stay. Best night's sleep I've had in a long time. I will go back there again. 더 보기

I had a great stay and kept extending it. The location is perfect and the price is the best for the quality in the area. More than likely its because they do not provide a breakfast of any kind. The only hick-up was that my King size bed was missing its towels. The funny thing was that i did not know this until i was soaking wet getting out of the […] shower ... lol ... We were here on family business. Knew we wouldn't spend too much time in the room, so didn't want to spend alot of money. The location was great - easy to find, close to the highway and the sites. Some have said "you can walk everywhere". that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it is a short drive. We went in winter as well, so no "long" walks. It's about […] a 2 mile walk to downtown mystic. The hotel was relatively clean (I only say relatively because it is old and outdated. Furniture is scratched and appears not clean, but it is), bed clean and comfortable, bathroom in pretty good shape as well. Definitely needs updating, but for the price, it's worth it. The pool was crowded with LOTS of kids and families - so we didn't partake. That wouldn't be relaxing for us (we are in late 50's). Breakfast is not included, but there is a restaurant practically attached, a freindly's, McDonalds and DD's within walking distance. The staff was friendly. We didn't need anything special, but guessing by how friendly they were, they would be helpful should you need it. Overall, it's a great place. There are LOTS of places to stay around there, but most are atleast twice the price. The rooms are huge too! You could easily have 4 people and a cot or two in the room without totally falling over each other. There is a 2nd sink outside the bathroom too. TV is small. Microwaves and refrigerators are in the room as well. Wish they had sheers under the curtains so we could have kept the curtains open during the day when we were just hanging out relaxing. 더 보기

This motel is just fine for the price. The staff is great, the room and pool were clean enough and the location is great. There are many restaurats within walking distance. Very family friendly!

staying at that hotel was great, not complains, we had a wonderfull time plus the service and jacuzzy was awesome , we going to came back very soon to enjoy again

This hotel wasn't horrible until we found bugs crawling all over the walls and writing desk. When I mentioned it to the manager she said "those are fruit flies, something must have spilled." Our room wasn't cleaned at all the 3 days we stayed and we never ate or drank in the room. I told her this, and also let her know they were not fruit flies. She […] then said, "they ARE fruit flies and we will send someone in to wipe the table down." No one ever came and we left. Disgusting and horrible service! 더 보기

typical no-frills hotel that is very convenietly located to downtown Mystic. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean albeit outdated.

The price and location of this hotel were very good. It was slightly outdated but had all the essentials. Good value for the price.

I would agree with most reviews that this is a great place to stay for very little money. It's clean, the staff is nice and it is ultra convenient. My only negative is that there is no elevator, so accessing the 2nd floor is a bit cumbersome with luggage. There is a nice indoor pool and our room had a jacuzzi tub. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to everything. Room was very clean, pillows a little uncomfortable but other than that-great stay.

My wife and I stay here all the time when visiting Mystic. We love the shops next door along with great outlets and dining options. We have tryed all the other hotels in the area and for price and loction this is by far the best value. 16 of us from both sides of our familys came here to celebrate the wifes 50th b-day. I went to a concert by the Mohegan sun area and needed a place to sleep for a few hours. For the price I paid, I was very satisfied with the room and when I was ready to get back home, it was right by the I95...very convenient. Excellent Hotel! The room was huge, well kept, and very quiet. We enjoyed our night away throroughly. Including the kids who had a blast in the indoor pool!

Very clean hotel , the staff was very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.If you are looking for anything fancy then this is not your place to stay. But if you want a clean comfortable room close to all of the attractions that Mystic has to offer without breaking your bank account then you should check it out.

Hotel desperately needs some updating, but other than that...it was decent. Shower pressure was pretty good considering it's a hotel. Convenience to Olde Mystick VIllage and Mystic Aquarium was fantastic.

Hotel was conveniently located close to Downtown Mystic and Old Mystic. The stay was nice, hotel clean, and staff was nice. Room had a big jacuzzi tub, although I did not get a chance to use it. Mohegan Sun and Foxwood casino's are both about 12 miles away if you enjoy gambling. Also, on the way into Mystic check out Angie's Pizza. They have great clam […] chowder and steak bomb's! 더 보기

I stayed here with my 3 kids (12, 9, 6) and it was perfect. Room is a bit oversized so we were comfy and it is incredibly convenient to all the Mystic attractions. Staff was very helpful and offered suggestions and directions to additional places that they thought we might like. We would definitely stat here again.
