They had plenty availability, it was clean & comfortable and the location was great, next to the highway & shopping areas. I was very satisfied with my room.

This is a hotel of convinience. If not for the location I would have never chosen this hotel and that decision would have been justified. Besides the fact that the mattress was so hard, it was like sleeping on a soft floor, there were dogs in it seemed every room who's owners appearantly decided the hotel wasn't good enough to stay with them to keep […] them in control. The hotel was also short of towels and pillows, and had I not been in need of rest (sounds like a kennel club!) I may have called down for some, but I was afraid I would have been asked to get them from the front desk myself. I woke up feeling worse than when I checked in! This hotel could REALLY use some new beds, it was like sleeping on a pile of cardboard. 더 보기

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cramped and the room could use better lighting. The door needed replacing. But it served my needs and the staff was helpful.

I was given the keycard to my room which wasn't cleaned. It contained a mcdonald's bag bedside, newspaper in the bathroom and the sheets weren't changed with the bed showing as if someone had just gotten out of bed. I did get a key to a new room but overall the hotel just isn't up to standard cleanliness wise compared to other places. You get what you […] pay for! 더 보기

Stayed on a Wednesday night so there weren't many people at the hotel. Check-in took less than 5 minutes and the room was as-promised. Considering it's a two bed room, I would've preferred to get two pieces of soap / two shampoos for the bathroom, but I'm sure I could've gotten it if I'd asked.

The girl at the front desk was very nice. That's about the only good thing I can say about this place. My room was dirty, hair in the sink, something dried and crusty on the sink table, the towels smelled dirty as did the sheets on the bed. The WiFi was very slow and kept disconnecting. There was a draft in the room that caused the heater to cycle on […] every 4 minutes and it was so loud I couldn't sleep. Worst place I have ever stayed. 더 보기

It's clean enough to stay in but in need of deep cleansing and some repairs. The wifi was basically unusable, but luckily there was a bit of a 4G signal.

If you are looking for a place to lay your head and your bags this will do. I wouldnt stay there with my family. but its a cheap little place if you need that. the staff is very friendly. the no pet fee is fantastic.

The hotel staff was very professional and did a great job.

I came here on a whim with my lady to just get away for a night. We both live relatively close by, but I had never seen or been to this motel before. Come to find out (I made the booking without really consulting her), she used to rent a room there years ago to just hang out and party with friends. So in some sense, this is that kind of place - somewhere […] cheap you can where you can get drunk and crash in for the night. I could possibly recommend this place to solo travelers on a budget, although I feel that there are places for only about ten bucks more nearby that are much newer, better maintained and don't smell musty. The rooms open directly to the outside, the lighting is a bit antiseptic and the sheets (blanket had cigarette burns) left much to be desired. For couples, this place should be avoided, but if you're alone or don't care and are just stopping through during a road trip, the place is okay. There is a 7-11 close by and it's super close to a lot of little shops and such before you jump back on the highway. 더 보기

The room itself was pretty decent. The beds were sufficient enough for me and my partner. The hotel definitely needs to update the tv or at least get better cable service. Also both ice machines on the wing I stayed in was Out of Order. So had to walk across the way to the other machine, near the lobby. The hotel staff was standard, not too friendly […] but at the same time not rude. So they were ok. Can't really complain much. The price was pretty good considering what other hotels are charging for practically the same thing. If you want flat wide screens on your room, then go somewhere else. 더 보기

Not clean

The hotel is close and right off the highway and easy to get to, the people are nice and friendly.

close to Interstate 270. Good resturants close by and a shopping mall too. Good place to stay if you are doing business in Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg!

beds and pillows were VERY uncomfortable. No hot water for half our stay. Bathrooms are tiny. If your looking for a one night stay over, and comfort is priority, this is your place.

This motel was quite inexpensive for the Bethesda-Rockville area. No frills really, but clean and comfortable.

This hotel was in decent condition, until i found a bed bug.. Disgusting, the front desk did not believe me, even after showing them. Highly upset, I had my kids with me also.

Hard bed, heter/cooling unit was missing parts. Very minimal property.

Older place.....No fridge, or Microwave. BOX TV....No flatscreens But front desk was courteous and rm was clean ....good location.

An excellent alternative to the high-priced, downtown DC hotels! Everyone was very nice and the room was great. Many thanks!

The Red Roof Inn was comfortable and clean and the location was vey convenient. Compared to other hotels in the area, the Red Roof Inn offers affordable rates without compromising comfort and quality. I would stay there again and would reccomend it to anyone looking to save a little extra money while traveling or staying away from home.

Very close to Metro Red Line, good safe area with plenty of places for eating and shopping. Can't beat the price. Rooms are unremarkable. Good place to stay at a cheap price with easy access to D.C.

Only issue was that the bed was made up daily

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. Had no maid service after first night. After second night, bed was made, garbage was NOT taken out, nothing else cleaned. Same for the third night. Fresh towels supplied only one day, Not only would I never stay here again, I will avoid Red Roof Inns entirely.

The hotel is obviously in need of a few repairs but the location was excellent. It is right off I-370 on Shady Grove Road very near to MD Rt 355. Our 2 rooms were clean and comfortable.

very basic, no frills, motel approx. 1/2 hr outside of DC. not much of a neighborhood and some shady characters roaming the premises. service was ok, but a few annoying mishaps like remote that did not work, or missing 'do not disturb' door sign.

OK this is not Hilton or Marriott but given the price price it is not a bad choice given that it is within 15 min walking distance to Shady Grove Metro Station. The rooms were clean so if you done mind the brand and want to save few bucks while in the DC area I would say go with it

Clean, convenient for our one night stay. However I was suprised there was not a hair blowdryer in the room. I did not notice if it was listed as an amenity but the room had a fridge, microwave and desk so it didn't occur to me to ask. Other than that room was fine.

This is fine for a night to just get some sleep if you are NOT handicap. My husband is handicapped and we had to get up a big hill to get to a handicap room. the night shift person wasn't very helpful until another one stepped up. the first one actually gave us a 2nd floor room without an elevator when he could actually see my husband could not do stairs. […] He wasn't going to change our room assignment until the other receptionist stepped in. I struggle with what to say because my stay was really not that bad. The hotel is old, that's the worst part. The staff was attentive and friendly. The location and price were great. However, there aren't many amenities. The rooms are not the cleanest. I would stay again because the price was so good and it was convenient for me.
