Located close to the Charlotte Airport with transfers and close to gas stations and limited restaurants and excellent access to the Freeway. Priced right, clean and convenient. We would recommend for those needing overnight accom. in the Charlotte Airport vacinity

I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. I was bitten by poisonous insect that my arms got swallowed badly and I could not sleep. Faisal

Very nice staff very quick pickup from airport

Normally I'm an easy going guy who regularly stays at discount hotels. I can usually put up with lesser conditions and bad service, so for me to write a review there has to be something VERY WRONG with this hotel. I have traveled extensively for 30 years and this was the WORST hotel experience I've every had. I decided to stay here because I could park […] my car here and get a shuttle to the airport. Upon checking in I noticed the front desk clerk hanging out with what appeared to be a bunch of her friends instead of doing her job. When I got to my room there were ants in the bathroom. The hotel is extremely close to the freeway and the airport so the sound of the traffic and the planes makes it hard to sleep. After my trip, I called to have the shuttle come pick me up. No one answered the phone so I hung up after 20 rings. I called back 2 minutes later and let the phone ring for almost 3 minutes until someone answered. I requested the shuttle and the clerk told me exactly where to meet it and said it was on its way. I stood outside (40 degrees and rainy) exactly where I was told and waited for 40 minutes and no sign of the shuttle. In that time I saw every other hotel shuttle come by at least 2 times, sometimes 3 or 4 times. The hotel is only 5 minutes away. I called back and requested the shuttle again and finally after 15 more minutes it came. So I waited almost an hour in the cold and rain. When the shuttle came the driver told me he was only told to come get me once, 10 minutes ago. When I got back to the hotel I saw the clerk again hanging out with friends outside the office, which explains why no one answered the phone. Usually I have good experience with Red Roof Inn, but THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. Very practical and cost effective place to stay when you have an early morning flight. Checked in late evening. Front desk staff very friendly. Reserved room ready and very close to exit. Airport shuttle ready to go at requested time.

Friendly staff. A/C had three controls. Temperature setting did nothing. Fan setting did nothing. Third control was to plug it in for it to cool the room. Unplug to not cool the room.

It was very convenient for one night before attending the event in downtown Charlotte, NC.

Beds were newish, everything was clean and functional. Shower pressure and temperature were top notch. There was constant freeway noise on the backside of the building where our rooms were located, but it didn't bother us in the least. Also, the non smoking rooms smelled like non smoking rooms, not like "previously smoking" rooms.

The woman working the front desk was smoking outside with questionable looking people. There were no hangers and they couldn't find any of their irons. This was not a good look. The worst was finding marijuana under a table when using an outlet. Had to sleep with the lights on. Before entering the hotel, I was skeptical but that changed after I entered the room. I was pleasantly surprised at its cleanliness and appearance. i would definitely stay there again!

we were there for a football game, it was cheap, we were drunk and passed out, didnt get woken up at all during the night. overall....NOT THAT BAD

I was spoken to through a glass window with a "may I help you ma'am". Never a hello or Welcome to RR Inn. Receptionist was not friendly at all. I asked if I could get a second key her response was a shaking of the head.(no). I had to ask for an iron, no hair dryers, and breakfast...old muffins and danishes from the corner store. Went to front desk […] to check out..there was a sign that read..receptionist is assisting a guest and will return in 10 minutes. The lady in fron don t really know how talk to people and i believe she is working agains the busness very very poor customers service ...i was there wednesday jul 20 around 10 am and it was heabreaking i actually stayed the hotel only for 3 hours because of all the attitude and mistraitement ..unbelievable..i left there at 1p the same day .The manager […] need to take action but the housekeeper was nice!! 더 보기

I wouldn"t recommend this hotel to anyone. I need a refund. Insects were on the wall, it smelled like smoke, and it was stink. The flooring was also dirty. Its a lot more I could say about it but you probably get my drift. We didn't even undress it was so horrible.

Prostitiutes and homeless askin for money..THe room was so so.. but the ac didint get cold and all and the tv sceen heigh didint fill the whole diameter of the screen,, it was horrible my company was very uncomfortable..However the manager did change me to a better room..

Great stay for a great price. A/C ran great, clean rooms, and staff was really nice and helpful.

i was very disappointed in this hotel, particularly given that the econolodge is next door and I have been very pleased with it. bad points 1) pathetic breakfast-coffee and muffins 2) i paid for the park and fly option and the hotel staff could have cared less-didn't take my tag number, didn't ask how long i would be gone. i actually don't believe that […] i needed to have paid for it. 3) i was second in line to check in but when a van from the airport arrived with 5 people toting hotel vouchers from the airline, she took all of them ahead of me. 더 보기

Located in a sketchy area, some of the rooms don't have a deadbolt! there are lots of shady people walking around in the corridor. I was convinced that I was going to get mugged :(

I stay in Red Roof Inns a lot since I am on the road a lot. This Red Roof left a lot to be desired considering the price. The door was bent like someone tried to pry it open and that left a gap that let cold air in. The room was minimalist at best. The only thing that was good was that it was close to downtown. After two decades of travel, the Red Roof Inn near Charlotte Airport is easily one of the most unsavory places I've ever stayed. Due to travel problems, my husband and two small children had to stay near the airport and chose Red Roof because of its chain status and good price. The place seemed like a crack den, with transients cruising around the halls, […] people up until all hours drinking, yelling, and screaming, and police sirens until the wee hours of the morning. Someone came and banged on our door repeatedly at 2 AM, and after that my husband woke every hour to check on our car parked outside. We also suspected (based on some overheard activities) that it might be a place used by johns and their hookers. Please, please spend an extra 10-15 dollars and spend the night across the street at the much nicer-seeming la quinta or one of the many other hotels close to Douglas. 더 보기
