This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. Had a great stay and will be back.

The staff was warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well laid out. It was located very near to many quality restaurants, and a very well laid out shopping area with lots of choices. I would gladly recommend this Red Roof Inn to my friends.

We were looking for a hotel close to the Christmas Lights and this was prefect,great location,easy on,easy off highway,and a ton of places near by!!!!

I thought that they should have had a coffee pot in the room. They had a frig and microwave.

Hotel was recently updated/renovated and it is a great deal! The price was right, the rooms were clean, and everything seemed brand new. The bathroom was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. Proximity to attractions in Wheeling was great, but there was plenty to do (food, shopping, entertainment) in St. Clairsville. I will definitely stay here  […] again! 더 보기

The room was nice & very clean. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but overall a great room for the $$.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a problem with the key as i carried it all day with my cell phone and i guess that affects the magnetic strip but the hotel staff got me right into my room at 3;00 in the morning. The shower drain was a little slow but not a big problem. I liked the easy access from interstate 70 and their are many local […] restaurants. We had a very comfortable and quite stay.Our room was clean and the staff was very nice. We had everything we needed and didn't have to ask for anything and the price was affordable. Whenever we come back through this area we will stay at this hotel before any other. Plus it is close to the mall and all kinds of restaurants.

We recently spent 3 nights at this motel. It was very clean and neat. The staff was very friendly. The only disappointment was the lack of a hair dryer. We highly recommend staying at this motel. We certainly will be staying here again.

Best stay for the price. Just 1/2 you can find a place to eat for B, L, D. very very clean for a good nights sleep. If that is all you want. Been stay here for 35 years when we travel from In -NJ. It is mid point.

I stayed at this hotel due to being at a conference in the area and found it to be very satisfactory. The staff was courteous and efficient and was nice enough to get us extra towels, cups, etc. The beds were very comfy and the hot water/water pressure was excellent. The only minor issue was that I asked for a non-smoking room and although the room […] said non-smoking, there was still some smoky smell (possibly from an adjoining room). I am pretty sensitive to smoke and it wasn't that bad, so most people probably wouldn't notice it. Overall a great night's rest for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay overnight in St. Clairsville. 더 보기

This was a stop on a road trip and we were pleasantly suprised. The area has lots of stores and places to eat. In other words, it was not isolated like we thought it would be. I think the price was just about right.

The non-smoking room I was assigned had a connecting door to the room next door, and I could clearly hear conversation. (I was told that this room arrangement with connecting doors was only for a few rooms, and the other rooms had no connecting doors.) When I requested a room change because I want a quiet room, I had to accept a smoking room because […] there were no other non-smoking rooms left. I accepted the smoking room even with the bad smell, because it was quiet. However, there is a problem with this hotel because of its heating system, which is electric resistance heating. While the heating system kept the room adequately warm, it was noisy: It emitted a loud clicking noise for several minutes every time it cycled on. To ensure a peaceful night's sleep, I had to leave the bathroom light turned on all night to activate the bathroom fan, which generated enough "white noise" to drown out the clicking from the heating system. 더 보기

Very clean, updated room. Very reasonable price for a nice, clean facility. No complaints here...

The room was as advertised, basic with good bed and bath, clean, no frills except had microwave and small refrig. No coffee machine in room but it was provided in lobby. Great location for traveling with many eating and shopping places within a half mile radius. Excellent on and off ramp from Interstate.

I stayed overnight at this hotel because poor driving conditions forced me off the road for the night. I booked a room on my phone but my original hotel was overbooked, so hotels.com put me here. I was expecting more from a Holiday Inn Express. Usually I feel you can count on their hotels to be worth a few extra dollars because they are nicer, cleaner, […] more comfortable. However this hotel, while clean, is in need of major renovations. The carpet in my room was noticeably old and worn; and clearly other parts of the decor have been updated at the expense of the carpeting and walls. The ceramic tile in my bathroom was coming loose, and the bathroom fixtures in general felt cheap and in need of replacement. The heat/air conditioning was noisy and hard to maintain a desired temperature. The room was a bit smaller than I expected. The beds were comfortable and clean, the linens were nice, and there was a LCD TV, although the cable selection was basic and there is no video on demand services. There is free wifi available, but I didn't use it. The hotel did have a small pool and fitness room, but they were more novelties than actual desirable features. Overall this was a decent hotel, certainly nicer than many I've stayed at, but I didn't find it worth the price or worthy of the Holiday Inn Express reputation. It is close to I-70, and there are many chain restaurants and basic retail stores within about a 2-minute drive. 더 보기

The rooms were fairly clean and the staff were friendly.However the refridgerator did not work thus spoiling my food.The matteress acually had the springs coming through them.Was not a good nights sleep.

The location of the hotel, or to be more specific a motel, is great. Right off 70. Close to food and such. The rooms have older air conditioners so expect a musty odor when first turned on. The room was recently remodeled and clean so that was a bonus.

Simply a good value. The room was clean and things were fairly quiet. Easy to get to from the interstate. Convenient to restaurants.

We stayed in the business room of the motel and it was very clean and well stocked of all that we would need.We were greeted by a very frendly staff who had our room keys and everything ready for us. It was one of the better hotels that we stayed at in Wheeling,WV

This hotel was extremely clean and updated. The only negative that I would say was the bed was not so comfortable and no continental breakfast....otherwise very good hotel.
