Stay was good,front desk need to make customer feel relax not sress out

Mexican 24/7 restaurant next door is cheap food! Dennys on the other side! AT the road to Lackland AFB! Best military rates in the area! Clean room, extremely well maintained. Strong WIFI. Better than the Hilton!

I booked this hotel simply because it was close to Lackland AFB and cheap. Well, I got what I paid for! The toilet was dirty, tiles in the bathroom had gaps, bathroom light worked some of the time, comforters looked like they had not been replaced in years and the carpet looked dirty. If you're visiting to watch your loved one graduate from Basic Training, you can do much better if you just go a few miles up the road. 더 보기

Great location. Near many restaurants & shopping centers. Friendly staff.

The room was very clean and they seem to have remodeled the rooms since the last time I stayed there over 3 years ago. The service was also very good and professional.

totally flat pillows, brown stains and rips on visible box spring, not enough hot water to shower comfortably

This hotel was extremely highly priced during spring break...We had no hot water to take a shower and the AC system made it feel like we were soaking wet. The beds were very uncomfortable also! Overall I will never come to this hotel again! I would rather sleep in my car.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had reservations to another hotel for the rest of our stay in Texas and found it drabby and dirty, we stayed one night and went back to the red roof inn in Lackland.

I was there in September.Quality fell down . I book two rooms two beds each one. No cold water just hot water. Lavatory cloged. Tv, microwave and lamps, inoperative. Four mattres very poor quality. It is true that "you get what you pay for". There must have been at least a dozen people drinking, smoking, and being very loud at 2am when they apparently were coming back from a party. The loud talking, laughing, and frequent slamming of doors kept me awake. I turned my car's alarm on a couple of times but it went unnoticed. This went on until 4am. […] I heard someone else's car alarm go off but the group of cellebrants just ignore it too. I will make certain not to stay in such a "dump" in the future. A great place to stay and everything was near by.

The hotel equipment was mostly old. There is not enough space and even chairs in the breakfast area. The surronding at times looked dangerous.

Very nice clean rooms, pool a little dirty though, the bed was very uncomfortable springs sticking out on one side. But over all nice staff great location between Sea World and River Walk, also lots of restaurant surrounding area. It's your money worth :)

Too whom it may concerns; On the second night we noticed a leak on the ceiling over the vanity. We let management know it was leaking. The third morning the ceiling was falling on the vanity and floor later that evening we put the trash cans under the water leaks and swept the texture in a pile. It's was an ok motel, nothing to brag about. Only one pillow per person, free wifi never did work right, ladies working the desk were somewhat unprofessional in their behaviors and one of them was quite rude to my friend. Stayed there 2 nights and had no internet connection either night. We had 2 computers and neither connected ... (later at home they worked fine ). After a night of sleeping on a hard mattress with a pillow that was flat, I went to eat their very limited breakfast. Donuts were hard like they were old and there was only apple juice or coffee to drink. […] I ended up going to the Dennys located next door. The pictures on Hotel.com portray this hotel in a positive light. It is in a bad neighborhood, the pool is extremely small and the beds are very uncomfortable. Stay away!!!

WI FI NEVER WORKED!!

This was a very nice hotel at a great price! We were surprised at how clean and nice it was! Definitely recommend this hotel! Close to sea world and lots of eating places in walking distance!! ;)

very convienient to get to the Base....plenty of food areas to dine....clean and every one was courteous, will stay there again...

The overall quality ogf the hotel was very poor. Service was bad; keys didnt work, i called for the remote to be changed because it wasnt working and they told they didnt have any maintance people. Continental Breakfast? the area was so small, not very clean and uninviting that we just opted to not have breakfast there at all.

This is a older hotel stayed there July14th and 15th for sons graduation from Air Force. Near the base, the air conditioner worked great like to froze us out of our room. the only thing I had to ask for a ice bucket and a do not disturb sign but otherwise my stay was great and would come again stay here again. you know that they know that guests only stay 1 nite. The location was great for Lackland but the woman at the front desk was one of the rudest people I've ever met, the 1st room we had had a huge water leak, & the AC was out in the fitness room. Couldn't get even a plastic spoon with the so called continental breakfast...

We needed to stay somewhere close to Lackland AFB for our sons graduation. It was VERY convenient to get back and forth to the base. It was clean but a little run down. I really enjoyed my stay at the Red Roof Inn. The staff was very accommodating, and my room was surprisingly nice and clean. It definitely exceeded my expectations for this type of lodging. The location was great for traveling to the base, and only about a 15 minute drive to downtown San Antonio.

Perfect for anyone attending BMT graduations. Staff was very helpfull and friendly. I plan on going back to SA and most likely be staying at the Red Roof Inn again.

clean, but beds not great

We stayed here because our airman has a dog and was insistent on seeing her after 8 1/2 weeks of BMT at Lackland. Location is close to the base gates, so we had easy access. Hotel was in reasonably good condtion, though the rooms were small. Staff got us two rooms next to each other and that helped somewhat. Our stay was decent for what we payed. The room proved its purpose but i must say that they ned to change the matresses!! Ours had a dent in the middle and was very uncomfortable. Bed buggs too.also there were some crepy men around the area. It was not the safest of areas. Overall you get what you pay for.

We stayed here during my Niece's graduation from BMT. It is very convenient to the guest entrance to Lackland AFB (although you cannot enter at Military Drive). The rooms are clean and well maintained. The cable TV selection was not good, but we were so busy with BMT graduation activities and entertaining our Niece during her town liberty it scarcely […] mattered. We stayed 4 days for our sons BMT Graduation. We were only about a mile from the base. Easy access, good service, clean rooms, no frills motel. I read other reviews complaining about the distance, there are multiple Red Roof's in the area. 1 is 4 miles, another is 18 miles. We booked the wrong one the first time. Went to see my son Graduate Air Force Basic, and then spend some time dropping off tourist dollars. The Location to Lackland AFB was great. About a mile, (+/-), to the parade ground. Plane was Late, got into San Ant. about 3:00 in the morning. Asked for a ground floor room. Night clerk said room was, "right arond the corner", and pointed left. He […] should have pointed RIGHT and said, next building. Spent an additional 10 minutes looking for the room. Got a room on the second floor. Free breakfast was various breads and bananas, with coffee and juices. Nothing spectacular, but about what I expected. Some previous guest thought adjusting the TV would be a good idea. Here is an Idea, if you are going to drop acid, don't adjust the TV. Picture was watchable, if you like RED. Could not figure out how to adjust the TV back to reality. Shower head was one of those "water saving" models. Saved ALOT of water, had to take a shower 4 times longer than norma,l just to get the shampoo out of my hair. Otherwise the room was clean, and we felt safe. I didn't notice the free way noise, which is less than 100 yards away from our room. Eating options with-in walking distance. Bottom Line, for what we needed, and the amount of time we spent in the room, a bed, TV Air Con, Shower, toilet, 4 walls and a roof, is all we needed. The price was right. Best time ever! I took my daughter for a grad. gift from 5th grade. We had a blast! The staff was great & my daughter swam like a fish all weekend! We will be back for her 11th Birthday in July!

Worst hotel I have seen in USA. Condition of my room was very bad. TV , Phone were not working. Then after spending 2 hours with hotel management, I was given another room. That room was not clean, lights were not working. Again one more hour was wasted in fixing this room. Hotel management did not transfer this new room to my name. So next day some […] other person was given my room. He tried to enter my room. Again some time was wasted in fixing it. It was a horrible experience to stay in this hotel. If you are looking for a location that is close to the AFB and not too pricey then this is the hotel for you! the staff are very helpful, if not very talkative, the place is clean and well kept up. There is a bit of road noise, due to the location right next to the freeway, but I didn't mind (if you have the heater or cooler on you can't hear it anyways) […] since the location was ideal for getting to the base quickly. The traffic in San Antonio is horrible, so the closer you are, the better!!! (tip: leave at least 15 min ahead of when you would normally since the traffic is so horrible) Overall, I had a great experience when the place. Plus there is shuttle service, for much cheaper than a taxi! (I recommend Alamo City Shuttle rather than the other one, the driver is much nicer) 더 보기

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The desk in this business room was a great size and had a very comfortable desk chair to go with it. I would have liked to have a closer plug by this desk but other than that great place to stay and I would stay there again.

The location is very easy to get to Lackland from. The hotel is in a bad area of town (says the policeman we visited with) but really the staff were friendly and helpful with directions and information. We had a bad night the first night (drunken neighbors partying until 3am) but the hotel changed our room and the next 3 nights were very quiet. The […] pool heater was broken but even in April the water was chilly but warm enough to take a quick dip. Overall, for a quick and easy place to stay for BMT graduation I would recommend it. Sorry to report it was not a good experience staying at the Red Roof Inn at SA Lackland. The Inn was short staffed, and as a result, we did not have hot water for our showers, rooms were cleaned in the late afternoon, sugar was missing for coffee.
