This hotel is a good clean hotel. Updated rooms. Pride has been taken in this hotel. No real frills, unless you travel with kids. The pool with the waterslide should keep them entertained. A Lot of Restaurants, great stores, pubs, theater all in walking distance. Overall the hotel was good. Excellent service. I was always greeted with a smile by all hotel staff. All questions were answered with satisfaction. Many local businesses nearby. Carpet in the room was a little old, however it was of little concern to me.

We were in Calgary for a hockey tournament at Fish Creek rec centre and this hotel was the perfect place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable.

Plus: Location is easy right on the outskirts of Calgary/ Macleod Trail South. Bed was clean and comfy. Customer service was good (front desk/ easy check-in, out) NEGATIVE: Room was quite run down. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere with the stampede breakfast and car show was very festive. Close to the train, with lots of convenient shopping.

We stayed at the hotel as a family for a weekend. The pool was awesome. My 9 year old loved the waterslide and the pool temperature was nice and warm. The staff was friendly and accomodating. I would stay here again.

Free "Hot" breakfast was a disappointment. If you stick to muffins and cereal, you'll be fine. Hotel was situated very far south in Calgary, which was convenient for us, as we were visiting family on an acreage just outisde the south end of the city. Easy access to Hwy #22 if you are heading west to the mountains.

On a recent trip using 3 different hotels, this was the absolute best of the three. Stayed here on a recommendation from local family. Friendly, helpful staff, large TV, very comfortable bed and a very warm & clean pool for the grand kids. If you require a hotel on the south side of Calgary this one is very good. Close to shopping, restaurants, traffic corridors etc. The included breakfast is very good, with a good healthy choice of food, juices, etc. The hotel was very quiet, the room and bed comfortable and well equipped. We have stayed in this hotel many times and will be back.

The staff was very friendly at this hotel and the breakfast was great. The pool was nice and warm but not very well lit. When we were in the hall going up to our rooms there was a funky smell. Luckily, the odor washardly noticable in our rooms and they were nice and clean.

This hotel is right in the heart os Shawnessey, close to all amenaties. The rates were resonable for our stay that we had to extend twice, was there for almost 2wks. All the staff were really friendly and helpful no mater what you needed, pool was great for the kids. Great hotel for the price. Close to all attractions plus ample shopping right out the front door. Pool & waterslide were a hit with the children. Rooms decent & fairly clean. Beds/linens were comfortable. Only major issue is the plumbing. Seemed like everyone was lined up for plungers at the front desk. Overall, we'd come back again

conveniently located right next door to a walmart and shopping centre. The morning continental Breakfast was wonderful, hot and fresh, and quite the variety. Loved our stay there and would happily stay there again.

If you need a south-end Calgary hotel this is good value. Many hotels at the south end are simply overpriced. This one has a decent hot breakfast and, if you have kids, they'll like the waterslide.

We recently stayed at the Super 8 Motel for 4 nights and what a wonderful surprise! Great service, the breakfeast was excellent including both hot and cold basic meals, the rooms were clean and quiet. I would recommend that anyone stay there for business or pleasure. The wireless did not let us down!
