Very centrally located in the heart of the city of Lausanne. Easy and quick access from the train station. A Few block from the Old Town Centre, The Lausanne Cathedral, Museum of Natural History etc. The front desk service very helpful and friendly. Nice amenity of free metro/buss card for entire day. Breakfast, ONE of the BEST I've had for a long […] time in any hotel. The only flaw that I want to point out was the worn carpet. But otherwise the room was clean. The space of the room was a typical what I expect of european hotels. Not large but enough for two people to feel comfortable. I FULL heartedly recommend this hotel and the location. Clean, tidy and a central location in Lausanne. The rooms were warm and not air conditioned which I hate hate ! Breakfast was simple. If you want bigger choice go to Co-op next door to the food court (open 08:30). TV channels are a lot 100+. And prices are good ! Friendly staff.

Booked this hotel last minute, initially had a hard time finding it, and the room had a light smoke smell to it. However, notwithstanding this rough start the people were super friendly and made it a very enjoyable stay.

A conveniently located hotel in the centre of Lausanne, especially if you are only staying for a day or two. 15 walk from the train station (although you need to be fit enough to walk up incredibly steep roads!). Situated on a relatively quiet shopping area, but not the nicest area of Lausanne. A great location however for jumping on the local buses, […] which take you directly to and from Ouchy (lake side). Friendly staff and locals made this a pleasant stay. Hotel doesn't look great from the outside but was very clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast, convenient location, everything you could want from a hotel for a short stay in Lausanne. I was surprised at the number of “down & outs” around the town, did not expect this in Switzerland, though to be fair they mostly keep to themselves.

The location of the hotel is right in the heart of the old town which is very convenient to visit that part of Lausanne. The bad part is that it can be a little noisy, especially if the UEFA football championship final coincides with the night of your stay. I was extremely satisfied with the service, location, and amenities provided by Hotel Crystal in Lausanne, Switzerland. The rooms were clean, there were several computers available for internet access, and the location in the middle of the downtown area, just blocks away from the new M2 metro line, combined to make a remarkable stay. In addition, the […] breakfast served in the morning was easily the best breakfast I have ever had at any hotel, with fresh croissants, cheeses, sausages, eggs, and juices and jams. Breakfast was often a high point of the day. Overall, I would travel back here in a second. Additionally, I met several guests that had actually grown up in Lausanne and were visiting friends, and they mentioned that they always stayed at Hotel Crystal for many of the same reasons. Even the locals use it! Don't stay at this hotel if you want a modern, slick establishment; this place is all about old world charm in an old fashioned setting. The views from the top stories, especially from the terrace during breakfast (which was very good), are gorgeous. The […] position is brilliant; just pop down the little laneway where the hotel is situated and you have gorgeous boutiques (and even a major department store) lining steep cobblestone alleyways. Great family hotel, we stayed in a 4 bedded room, double in one room & bunk bed in a separate room. The welcome was great, very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable on the balcony.

A good stay -- location is very good, hotel is clean and in decent condition. Breakfast was very good. My only major complain is that the wireless internet charge is excessively expensive (30 CHF per day).

The hotel was good in service, convenience, location, and a good value. The breakfast also had a good variety of food. The room was pretty descent- nothing too fabulous- but clean and had everything you need. The check out time of noon was also nice and not too early!

Very well located close to everything, with parking facility at a cost near by (quite difficult to find though). Clean, quite,helpful and always smiling staff, nice breakfast, computer with printing facilities for the boarding pass.

if you arrive after 11:00 p.m. the door is locked and you have to phone the hotel. They only give you the code to get in if they can recognize your name (not easy with strong accents over a mobile connection. The hotel is very convenient since it's close (about a block)to the Metro station. It also has free internet access, and the breakfast buffet was fairly extensive compared to the free breakfasts I've had in American hotels.

Eenvoudig maar net hotel. Kleine kamer. Ontbijt is prima, locatie is prima. Wifi was inbegrepen in prijs.

Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Allerdings mussten wir nachträglich CHF 20.-/Nacht für das Parkieren bezahlen, das stand nirgends in den Hotelinfos! Sonst ok, d.h. Preis-/Leistung stimmt.

Das Hotel macht allgemein einen guten Eindruck. Die Leute sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich und in guter Auswahl. Einzig die Türschlösser sind nächtens etwas laut.

Les plus : situation en plein centre ville, propreté de ma chambre, assez calme. Les moins : les chambres sont très petites et la déco doit avoir 20 ou 30 ans. Impossible de prendre un petit déjeuner avant 7H du matin pas idéal quand on commence tôt !

Ett billigt och bra övernattningshotell (tyst om natten) mitt i det gamla Lausanne nära t.ex. universitetet och katedralen. Från hotellet går man till järnvägscentralen på en kvart till fots. Frukosten är utmärkt.

見所の大聖堂にも歩いていけますし、地下鉄の駅も近い。バス停にも近い。 デパートも徒歩圏内にあってちょっとした買い物にも便利でした。 受付の人達も親切でした。 部屋は狭いです。

I kjernen av sentrum og gågatemiljø. Stille nok til å få god nattesøvn. Bra frokost. Behagelig og vennlig service. Internet. Hva mer kan man ønske seg? Jeg kommer nok tilbake til våren:-)

Mycket centralt beläget, men något svårt att hitta p gr av bilkörningsrestriktioner. Ngt slitet, men med en fin frukost-terass på taket. Tyst och lugnt, gångavstånd till det mesta i centrum. Gunnar/Stockholm

Das kleine Hotel liegt an ruihiger und zentraler Lage und ist mit dem öV gut zu erreichen. Gut geeignet für kurze Aufenthalte von einigen Tagen.

Idéalement situé en centre ville, à proximité du métro Riponne. Décoré avec goût, chambres préparées avec attention. Internet disponible en libre service, ce qui est loin d'être le cas des autres hôtels de la ville. Petit déjeuner copieux et de bonne qualité, pris en dernière étage avec une magnifque vue sur Lausanne

Das Hotel liegt an Zentraler Lage von Lausanne. Zu Fuss kann man die Stadt bekundschaften. Leider lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen in anbetracht des hohen Preises. Die Teppiche in den Zimmern sind schon sehr alt und den Staub kann man förmlich riechen. Ich werde das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen!!

Helt OK hotell, med relativt sentral beliggenhet. Vi kom med bil, og det er ca 200m til 2 forskjellige parkeringshus. Fikk gratisbiletter til den offentlige transporten i byen på hotellet, så vi benyttet dette. Hadde bestilt et familierom med plass til 2 voksne og 2 barn, men det hadde de ikke, så vi fikk 2 dobbeltrom til samme pris. God service.

Angenehmer Empfang, offene, freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen, unkompliziert. Gesamtes Hotel etwas eng, und nicht neu, praktisch eingerichtet. Zimmer sehr sauber, auch im Bad alles tip-top funktionierend, gefüllte Dispenser, ausreichend Wäsche, jedoch ohne zusätzliche Extras (z.B. Kleinportionen von Shampoos, Nagelfeilen, Shoepolish) etc.). Sehr reichchhaltiges […] Frühstücksbuffet auf einer tollen Terrasse mit Top-Sicht über die ganze Altstadt und zum See. Gegenüberliegende Häuserzeile nah, so dass schnell ein Gefühl von Enge aufkommt (erinnert an Palermo oder Napoli), bei schönem Wetter sehr heiss im Zimmer. Besonders geschätzt: die beiden kostelosen Internet-Stationen, Minibar, Flatscreen mit internationalen TV-Stationen, nur 5 Min. von Metrostation, die zum Bahnhof und zum See geht, inmitten der Altstadt, gute Verpflegungs- und Shoppingmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, kostenlose Stadtpläne und Veranstaltungsbroschüren im Hotel. Kostenloser Pass für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel für die Dauer des Aufenthaltes (dieses Angebot solte jedoch von der Reception auch proaktiv mitgeteilt werden, bevor sich die Gäste einen eigenen Fahrpass gekauft haben). 더 보기

Hotellin sijainti on loistava, vana kaupunki, katedraali aivan nurkalla, samoin metro. Huoneeni oli sisäpihalle, joten se oli rauhallinen, kadun äänet eivät häirinneet, toisin kuin 2 hengen huoneessa massa hotellissa asuvia tuttujani. Aamiainen oli todella hyvä, varsinkin kun sen sai nauttia terassilla, josta avaurtui huikeat näkymät vanhan kaupuinkiin […] ja järvelle. Viikko jonka vietimme Lausannessa oli kuuma, joten ilmastoinnin puute oli miinus, mutta onneksi talo tarjosi tuulettimen! 더 보기
