Had a very enjoyable stay...quiet and comfortable is what we look for and we got here.

Easily accessible to all sights. Clean room, good breakfast and nice pool.

Rooms were nice, I booked 3 for two days each. The only issue was one TV was out for a half day and another room the A/C was out for a half day. They told us that they would give me a $15-20 credit to my credit card. So, that was nice and overall the stay was good. The continental breakfast hostess was very nice and on top of everything. although we booked a nonsmoking room the room and the hall way smelled of smoke ,the pool was in such horrible condition the hotel staff had to drain the pool the chlorine levels were so high and some type of dye had been poured into the pool that it turned my wifes hair green and our finger nails blue . we wont be staying at this hotel in the futu […] re 더 보기

The pictures of the hotel gave us no clue of how horrible this hotel was. The staff was very helpful, but the hotel was terrible. The room was more like an economy hotel. It had mold over the AC unit and around the shower star. We tried to catch up on some dirty cloths by cleaning them in the hotels coin op washer and dryer. The washer worked fine but […] the dryer was dead so we asked the helpful staff if they could dry it for us in their commercial dryer and they did. Getting back to the bad dead roaches in the laundry room and to top it all off. While swimming with my children in the pool,we were the victims of a chlorine bubble that gassed us out of the pool burning my lungs, my 13 year and 5 year olds eyes in was not fun or comfortable. 더 보기

Stayed at the Sleep in because many hotels in the area were full and the Sleep Inn has a free shuttle to the Jet Express. The staff are great! The staff went above and beyond in customer service. The room was clean. The bathroom has only a stand up shower and is very small. Did not like the bathroom. Free breakfast was minimal.

Conveniently located near all sights and attractions including ferries, etc. Motel was clean and well kept and had freindly service.

Very accessible to area sights. Room not well stocked with amenities but they were more than happy to supply them if you asked. Just stayed one night so did not have much time in room. Clean enough to feel comfortable.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very cordial and helpful as well. It was also nice to come back and enjoy the pool after being out in the heat all day.

First time visiting this area. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Didn't have enough towels and washcloths in room but front desk quickly accommodated. Very close to attractions. We visited the African Safari, Marblehead lighthouse, and took the ferry over to Kelleys Island. All convenient to this location. Room was small and basic, but clean. No tub in the bathroom, just shower stall. The breakfast was weak compared with many other complimentary breakfasts we've had at other hotels. Didn't use the pool. It was ok for a one-night stopover.

The room and hotel were clean-just dated. Pool had too much chlorine but no biggie. Quiet, convient,and cheap. Continental breakfast was pretty good, good selection of food. Would definetly stay there again! Staff was very friendly.

Our stay at this Sleep Inn was very nice. The staff were so helpful and friendly. My husband cannot walk far, and they attended to our need for a close room. The room was clean and comfortable.

Nice basic hotel, located on same route that leads to Miller's ferry to Put-in-bay. No problems with check-in, they do have you sign a "noise" waiver to keep partying to a minimum. About 3 miles from PIB ferry, and 1 mile from the African Safari wildlife drive-through tour. Also, Cedar Point is about 12 miles away, driveable. We stayed for 3 nights, […] room was fine with 2 queen beds. Biggest complaint - their pool is kept at 75 degrees (we checked the thermometer) which is a bit cool !!! But for the price, a heated pool is prob too much to expect. Continental breakfast was ok, includes cereals, boiled eggs, bagels, toast, doughnuts, jucies, coffee, and fruit. Not fancy but free. Comfortable beds and great pillows, close to lakeside and Marblehead.

Evertthing was as stated in the advertisement. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

After reading many horrendous reviews of hotels in the Sandusky area, I was hesitant to book anything. However, the Sleep Inn in Port Clinton fit our needs! It felt a little overpriced but, I was willing to spend more for a clean room. The room and bathroom were very clean. A couple stains on the comforter (it looked like pen or marker?) but, we didn't […] sleep with them. The front desk staff were very polite however, we really didn't use their services outside of checking in and out (both of which were speedy!). Location is great... about 15 minutes from Cedar Point and other things. A Wal-Mart, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell are right up the road along with some other eateries. On our first day's stay, "someone" placed a "do not disturb" sign on our door - we received no service on the first day - no clean towels, bed made, etc. Ari conditioner was very noisy - apparently no thermostat - woke up in the middle of the night freezing, to turn it off - Shower floor looked dirty, but was, actually, just very worn.

We were not there very much but, it was a great stay and my 6 year old loved the pool. Very close to the African Safaria where the animals get close and persanal with you. If you go there stop at a grocery store and buy alot of carrots!!

Small room and even smaller bathroom. Comfortable beds. Breakfast area was very busy and small. Had to wait in line a long time to get to food. We had small children and had no where to sit. We sat in the front entrance area. Didn't think the check in lady liked that. But what do you do.

It was a pleasure to check into the quiet and friendly Sleep Inn after a long day at Cedar Point. The building and grounds were very clean, and though the room didn't have a refrigerator or a bathtub, it was everything that a hotel of its stature needs to be. The breakfast, too, was not stellar but adequate.

Our paper said refrigerator so we brought things with us. Well guess what no refrigerator.

Room was clean and not smelly. Conveniently located off Rt 2 freeway. Near to shopping and restaurants. Very close to Miller Ferry, good place for overnight stay for Cedar Point or Lake Erie islands.

They did not have any local channels and the only "Kids" channel was Cartoon Network. Well, that is not appropriate for my 7,5 and 2 year olds to watch right before bed so we ended up having to stare at the ceiling. Plus, the toilet kept flushing for about an hours time straight. Located very close to all the spots we wanted to visit

While the room was as expected, the service was thess than mediocre. The hotel offered a free shuttle to the jet express boat dock which is why i booked the room. Upon check-in the employee at the front desk told us the next shuttle was leaving at 4pm, when we walked to the lobby at 3:55 we were shocked to find out that the shuttle had left at 3:50. […] The hotel staff could not call the driver and tell him to come back because they didn't get his phone number. We drove ourselves to the dock and unfortunately missed the boat so we had to wait for the next boat which was 1 1/2 hours later. The hotel clerk also told us that the shuttle picks up passengers and brings them back to the hotel with every return boat. We were on the last boat back at midnight. Again, we were angry to find that there was no shuttle waiting for us. Since we had been drinking alcohol, we could not drive ourselves back to the hotel, so we had to get a cab. When we arrived at the hotel we asked the clerk why there wasn't a shuttle. We were told that the shuttle had been running but they stopped running it at 11:30 because they thought that was the last boat. The schedule is published online so I thought this was a lame excuss. When we checked out in the morning, the manager did apologize, but continued to make excusses about the poor service. We did not get a discount on that stay or future stays. We stayed here for a trip to Cedar Point. The location was nice, 10 miles to Cedar Point and 9 miles to the Lighthouse. The hotel was fine, except for the fitness room. None of the machines worked properly, and were basically useless. Pool was nice, breakfast (continental) was fine, rooms were fine. We booked a suite with a whirlpool tub. When we arrived we had been moved to a family suite due to us having children. The girl at the desk was very apologetic and gave us back the room with the tub(after calling her boss). Our children had to stay with other family members in hotel since it was against their policy to have children in that room. This […] would have been nice to know at time of booking. The room itself was clean but the shower had mold in it. Front desk staff were very nice and went out of their way to please us. It sounds like a small thing, but when the room is stuffy to begin with it makes a big difference. The staff gives you the impression that a number of people stay there to party with some of the things they warn you about. The rooms smell like it, and that's when you want to open a window to get some fresh air, but sadly you can't.

The hotel was very clean, the employees were professional and helpful, everything was better than expected. The pool was nice and warm. There were many family activites available in the area (much more than "just" Cedar Point). Staff members kept the continental breakfast well stocked. I was glad they had an elevator since I was using crutches.

If you are staying in the Port Clinton area, this hotel is a very convenient location. The check-in/check-out process was efficient, and the clerk was courteous and personable. Overall the hotel was clean and smelled fresh. My room was clean and all appliances were in good working order. I had a KING SUITE, so there was a small fridge, microwave, […] and sink in one area. An ironing board and iron was in the room. There is a complimentary continental breakfast (every day) from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. I saw a housekeeper keeping the food and beverages stocked and cleaning off the tables as guests left the tables. Beverages include: juice (apple, orange); milk; coffee (regular, decaf); and hot water (tea bag). For breakfast, you have a selection of cereal (2 types), fruit (apples, bananas) and/or pastries. As part of pastries, I guess you could include the english muffins, bagels, or bread slices which could be warmed in the toaster. A good selection of jelly, cream cheese, and butter was also available. As a female traveling alone, I felt comfortable in the hotel and parking lot (plenty of spaces with good lighting). The hotel is conveniently located off OH State Route 2 and OH State Route 53. I checked in about 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday for a one-night stay. There was one clerk on duty who was personable and courteous and the check-in was quick and easy. I had reserved a KING SUITE; the bathroom had both a show and a jacuzzi tub. The room also had a small sink, […] a microwave, and a small fridge. An ironing board and iron were also in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. every day. There is juice (orange, strawberry kiwi, and apple); milk; cereal (Fruit Loops, Rice Krispies); fresh fruit (apples, bananas); bread; bagels, english muffins; doughnuts; coffee (regular and decaff); and hot water (tea bags). Condiments are readily available -- cream chees, assorted jellies; and butter. A 4-slice toaster to make toast. Food and beverage continued to be replenished and the counters wiped down. The breakfast area has six tables (4-chairs each) and a TV mounted in the corner. As guests would finish their breakfast and leave the table, the table was cleaned. Check-out was also quick and easy with the same courteous clerk. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Port Clinton area. 더 보기
