랑데뷰 그랜드 호텔 싱가포르 (Rendezvous Grand Hotel Singapore) - 싱가포르

출장후에 개인적인 비용으로 이틀간 더 싱가폴에서 지내기로 하고, 량데뷰 그랜드 호텔에 묵게 되었다. 호텔건물도 멋지고, 객실사이즈도 넓고 가격대비 아주 좋은 선택이라고 생각된다. 싱가폴 아트 뮤지엄과 싱가폴 내셔널 박물간이 정말 길건너면 바로 있고, 지하철역도 가까울 분더러 쇼핑 street인 오차드까지도 쉽게 갈 수 있는 환상적인 위치여서 이틀 내내 즐겁게 지냈었다. 다만 아침 6시부터 저녁10시까지 계속되는 지하철 공사로 인해 소음이 상당한 편이라, 호텔facility를 이욯하면서 즐겁게 여유롭게 휴가를 즐기려는 분들에게는 맞지 않는 호텔이지만, 이곳 저곳 여행하려는 사람에게는 추천할 만한 호텔이라고 생각한다.

호텔을 들어섰을때도, 데스크에 체크인하러 다가섰을때도 전혀 웃는얼굴로 맞이하며 무슨일을 도와드릴까요하는 직원이 없더군요. 심지어 데스크에서 저 체크인하려구한다고 했는데도 시큰둥..아무 응답없이 서류뒤적거리길래 인터넷 예약사항 자진해서 알려주고 체크인함..기분들떠서 가족여행하고자했었는데 기분많이 상하더라구요. 청결상태는 그냥 보이는곳은 괜찮은듯했는데 욕실에 두개 셋팅되어있어야하는 칫솔세트는 하나밖에 없고 옷걸이와 금고위는 먼지가 있어서 물건을 못놓았습니다. 3일 머무는동안 내내 청소되지않았습니다.큰 램프가 안들어와서 외출하며 데스크에 말했는데 그날 밤에 들어와보니 여전히 그대로였고 그다음날 다시 말하고나서 고쳐졌습니다.

호텔 위치가 너무 좋네요! 가격 대비 괜찮은 호텔입니다. 또한 주변에 산보를 하면서 볼거리도 많고...하여간 이틀동안 잘 보낸 곳입니다.

호텔 직원들은 매우 친절하고 도움적이다. 깨끗하지만 피할수 없는 한가지 문제는 프런트에서 리모델링을 하고 있었다는 것이다.

호텔이 여전히 리노베이션 중이다. 새 방이지만 적다. 싱가포로 쇼핑센타는 걸어서 6분 거리에 있고, 야시장도 걸어갈수 있는 거리지만 시청이 너무 멀다.

객실은 수리가 끝났는데 현관이 공사 중이었습니다. 공사가 시끄러웠고 꽤 먼지가 많았습니다. 예약하시기 전에 참고하세요. 위치는 정말 좋습니다.

The neighbouring road has construction work underway where heavy noise start from early in the morning around 8 am until late evening such as 10 pm. Beware when reception hands over key to you, make sure that your room is not facing the road where construction is underway. We were offered upgrade against payment which we declined, but hotel receptionist […] upgraded us without cost not knowing that this upgraded room is adjacent to road where heavy noise lasted all day long. After one sleepness night we had to move our room. The porter who moved our luggage to another roomwas appraently not happy as he lacked completely service mentality. There was construction outside our room window. This construction work was an ongoing long-term project, which should have been informed to us way in advance and not once mentioned in their website or the hotel information. My husband and I always enjoy staying at this hotel. It is in a very central location. Construction work on either side made it noiser that usual but didn't distrurb us greatly.

the front desk receptuionist attitude is bad. They called around 1230pm and question why we have not checked out when the night when I check in, I requsted for late checkout to 1pm. Great location and nice room. Walking distance to Orchard Rd. There is currently lots of construction in the area as well as renovating in the hotel but I wasnt effected much by it. Only downside was the front desk seemed inexperienced. I was charged for local calls even though the website clearly stated that local calls were free.

Overall, a pleasant experience. Check-in was efficient and staff were polite. My only criticisms of the hotel are the MRT works going on outside which somewhat spoil the ambience of the location (but this should be gone by 2017) and the lack of Cable TV choices. Been wanting to find a staycation for this year chinese new year, searching high & low for a nice hotel with good location. After so good searching , finally found RENDEZVOUS GRAND HOTEL! Nice location, its at far end of Singapore most busiest street ( orchard road) but within 100 metres of MRT ( Dhoby Ghaut) so no worries about travelling around. We stayed over CNY and some facilities were affected. eg the Club Facilities were closed (with some alternatives available) and some of the staff were obviously not as well trained eg in the food hall. However good hotel, good location and would stay again

I only had two days and nights in Singapore - so much to see, so little time. The hotel is PERFECTLY located for getting around and seeing everything in such a short space of time. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and always smiling! Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel could be managed in a little better way but the quality of the accessories was good. Often employers do not speak each other enough, as a consequence there is a waste of time to specify again everything every time. The room was clean with quality materials. It is on the edge of Orchard Road (shopping district) and it great value for money compared to the big orchard road shopping hotels but only 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes MRT (subway) to everything. There's some construction work right next door so that'll add some noise to your stay. Otherwise it's pretty decent value for money n close enough to town. Lots of food choices all around too, from restaurants to hawker stalls.
