Not knowing anything about the areathe sweet girl at the front desk recommended a local tavern for dinner. It was a great find try the honey butter crossiants or boiled shrimp.

Tolit was broken gave us a room next to interstate could hear trucks all night.

We came to Charlotte to attend Metrolina and this hotel was very convenient and close. The staff are great!! Very friendly. The breakfast staff kept the supplies of food constantly replenished. The only thing I would change if we return next year is to ask for a room in the rear - street noise is significant. We were on the first floor, and the windows had sheers. It had bordering drapes, that you could not close, and you could see in the room from the outside. No refrigerator in the room. Rooms didn't seem as clean as other places we have stayed

My gf and I enjoyed our stay for the most part at the Fairfield Inn. The hotel was very clean and in a wonderful location for a traveler. While staying at the hotel some plans fell through and we were left with an afternoon free. I went down to the desk to ask for some popular attractions and parks for hiking. The clerk responded "Have you been to […] the mall yet?" This was NOT the answer I would expect from a hotel as I didn't drive 8 hours to go shopping. The clerk was unable to provide suitable things for us to do so my gf and I searched on our own with Google. Our other big complaint about the hotel was the free "breakfast". My gf and I are frequent travelers and have stayed at a number of Marriott hotels. This is the first time we have passed on a free breakfast. Not only were our options cold cereal, unlabeled mystery danishes, instant oatmeal, frozen breakfast sandwiches or a Waffle...my gf actually dumped out coffee. If you were on the Adkins Diet forget eating anything here as your only option would be to heat and disassemble a frozen breakfast sandwich. If that weren't enough the attendant, which reminded me more of a bathroom attendant then someone serving me breakfast, handled food and silverware (not the handle of course) without gloves. Needless to say, after our first day, we didn't eat breakfast there again. Overall we enjoyed our stay, it just could have been slightly better. 더 보기

It's a nice hotel, but there's nothing to do around there.

Great room , the general manager was great as well as the entire staff, easy ck in & ck out, will definately stay their again.
