The hotel is easy to find, they have free parking, and the rooms were newer and nice. They were doing construction and it looks like they are making it even nicer. Quality staff and an overall pleasant experience.

Our kids loved it, slept great, pool was a little cold but loved the view and walking in the area

Very clean room. Cleanest whirlpool and pool area I've ever seen very pleased.

I am definitely staying here again. Staff were EXTREMELY courteous and nice. Clean rooms, nice amenities, great location.

Haven't been to Cincy in 10+ years, and we were there 11/13 for the STEELERS game, so the prices were jacked up!!!! There were places in Downtown Cincy that were cheaper, but I waited too late to book. Our WiFi was free, so I don't konw what the problem was with person below. 20-30 minute walk to the Stadium across the river. Lots of liquor stores around. […] :-) DON'T pay the $11 for breakfast. There's a Waffle House across the street and a Frisch's (Shoneys) 2 blocks away. Newport Levee is close by (drive or cab it). Buckhead Mountain Grill (couple miles East of Newport) was a nice restaurant. 더 보기

Everything about our stay was great. The jacuzzi was clean & large enough for two. The only thing I can remotely complain about is a lack of a microwave in our suite. Street signs pointing to it would be very helpful. It was very soundproof--loved that!

The only thing I find wrong with the hotel is wifi is not free and they even charge you for the paper. I've stayed at hotels where I am not paying as much and get them both for free. If you really feel a need to charge for wifi then maybe one fee for the length of your stay not per 24 hours

I believe this hotel was just OK. The biggest problem was the surrounding area which was not in the least bit inviting (mostly a bunch of drive-thru fast food business). A few blocks away where the Marriott was located (closer to the suspension bridge) is a much improved environment. The walk to Great American Ballpark was quite a distance--walkable […] but very uncomfortable during HOT 95 degree weather. The city shuttle outside the hotel was very convenient but only runs until midnight. On the plus side, one of our room occupants seemed to have an allergic reactions to the room deodorizer so the cleaning staff brought in a machine to air out the room. They also cleaned our room with just water (no aerosols) the second day. They went above and beyond our expectations in this regard and we appreciated this. Also, the location was away from the hubbub of downtown (a plus to us). On the con side the hotel was TOO expensive for what we got (a bed and coffee in the lobby)--but all the hotels in the area were gouging their patrons due to the jazz festival (supply and demand). Bottom line: I would recommend this hotel only if there wasn't room at the regular Marriott. 더 보기

Reasonably priced alternative to Cincinnati hotels located just across the river in Covington, KY. Local shuttle ($1 per rider) is extremely convenient and makes trip over to Reds baseball stadium a breeze. Very helpful hotel staff; excellent breakfast.

Everything about the hotel and room was excellent However, I chose to pay a higher rate for the room to include breakfast and as it turned out, I had to pay for my breakfast that morning, too!

The room was clean, but the bathroom did not have a fan to cover the "noises" inside the bathroom, so you have to run the tap at the sink WHICH IS NOT IN THE BATHROOM but rather just outside it. The location isn't the best, though I think safe enough, just there is little to view. Parking is in the parking deck next to the hotel, and there is a white […] castle hamburger joint right in front of the hotel. its clean and comfortable, but for the money not up to their usual standards. 더 보기

I was upset with not having wireless web for the price that I paid for the hotel........and I was upset that we didn't have a free breakfast for the price of the hotel either!

We were in town for the Mid-West homeschool convention at the Duke Energy Center. The hotel was very convenient being right across the river. Our room was very nice and clean. The overall condition of the hotel was very good too. We paid extra for the breakfast in the mornings. The food and service was better than expected. The pool was a bit cold for […] our liking. This hotel is close to all the sights and events in Covington and Cincinnati. It has a convenient trolley to take you to events and places which is right across the street, You can also get the city bus called the Tank in the same place. Convenient access to downtown Cincinnati with no parking fee. Beds were amazingly comfy.

The only thing positive I can think of is the bed was soft, but that may have been because the springs were broken down. And the $20 Visa money card we were told we would get at check-in time...we didn't get it...the clerk said they were out of them. We have to fill out an on-line form and once we do that Marriott will then mail the card to us in 4-6 […] weeks. That wasn't the deal. The deal was we check-in, we get the card handed to us. Wouldn't it be easier, and smarter, to just refund $20 to our bill? Or hand us a $20 bill? How about "comping" breakfast in the hotel restaurant? I suggested all 3 alternatives, all 3 were refused. There is a lot of hotel competition on both sides of the river...we will NOT be back to the Marriott. 더 보기

This hotel is in a perfect location. Right on the river and within walking distance to the convention center. In addition, there is a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes for $1.50 that can take you to a Cincinnati Reds game or the Newport on the Levee shopping district. we had a beautiful view of the courtyard from our room but it was closed because of snow. I would have loved pics with my kids in the courtyard but other than that the staff was friendly and my children was treated nicely. My only complaint was that we had to carry our luggage from the parking garage to the rooms cause they didn't have enough luggage […] carts for the us and the two other guests checking in at the same time, and was not permitted to remain parked in front of the building while we carried our belongings to our room. 더 보기
