온타리오 호수가에 접한 숙소이며 주변 15분정도이면 토론토 다운타운의 한인촌이 있음. 현재 포포인츠 호텔이 리모델링중이라 종료후에는 조금 더 쾌적할 것 같음.

The first room they gave us, was very noisy. Room looked out over Gardiner Express. It sounded like you had a window open and traffic was loud. They moved us to a room on the other side. It faced the lake which was nice, but all night we heard a loud tapping noise, we think it was from the heater. The opposite end of the hall was loud in the hallway. […] They were going to charge us for parking, till we showed them in the 2012 travel book where they advertise free parking. They also advertise free bottled water in room. What they dont say is how much. You get one individual size bottle of water. If there is more than one of you staying in the room, you have to share that one bottle. Also when we checked out, they were charging us more per night than what the rate was supposed to be. Good thing I printed out the information they sent me, so I could prove how much the rate was suppose to be. Other than the tapping noise, the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and when I showed proof for the couple issues they did photo copy it and they corrected the rate. 더 보기

We were very pleased with the accommodations, the helpful and friendly staff and the attractive view of Lake Ontario. We would definitely stay at this hotel the next time we visit Toronto.

Front Staff Harold (Harry) did a great job of meeting my expectations and changed rooms to a ground floor. Very clean room, staff serviced the room well. Had two breakfasts and two suppers, food ok buffet same as all hotels not hot enoungh but fair to good. Supper Fish and chips very good, Pizza ok. Menu lack variety. ok hotel but make sure you ask for a lake view room. its more quiet. watch out for the money grab for parking!

Very nice experience

If you have to stay here, accept a room nowhere but on the front of the hotel (the Lake side). The back of the hotel backs on the Gardiner Expressway and will be a guaranteed sleepless night. The front of the hotel rates about 2.5-3 stars. The back of the hotel deserves -1!

It was very bad experience after our flight when we arrived there was no hot water to take a shower! We were told that it will be fixed by 3 am. In the morning there were no hot water still and we couldnt take a shower! This was awful !!! We had to leave and move to another Hotel and it caused us so much inconvinience and i will never recommend staying […] at this Hotel !!! 더 보기

Even though the hotel backed right up to the expressway the room was quite. The room was fine but a little rundown. The room was clean and that is what is important.

The hotel is clean, bright, up to date, nice place to eat good service. The only downside was the small room.

We have now stayed here 3 times. Each time we were interrrupted and disturbed by noise of people in nearby rooms. This time below us some men decided to smoke and drink and make a lot of noise on the balcony below us. It was very disturbing but stopped before midnight. The washroom is very nice and clean. Stayed 4 nights on business. Comfortable clean hotel. Restaurant opens at 6:30am so if you have to be on the road early there is no place to grab breakfast in or near the hotel.

On arrival at hotel. Excellent desk staff Mr Miller. In morning - coffeemaker jug missing. Bath plus missing - had to make do with pile of towels.

I enjoyed my stay at this hote. It was close to my conference at the Old Mill. I booked a room with a double bed and found it to be very small and very noisey from the highway raffic right outside the window. I paid for an room upgrade to the other side of the hotel thinking it would be quiter with only some resolution. We reserved a standard room online. When i got there. A "standard" room means you are on the north side of the building which is seriously 10ft from the highway. The traffic noise is unbearable. When i asked to move to the south side of the hotel which faces the lakeshore i had to pay more money. I was not happy with this at all. When we arrived at the hotel on Friday night, our original room size is only enough for 1 person to live (limited space, 1 double-sized bed). The good thing was the small room had a mini fridge, where we can save our food leftovers. Then we felt the room was too small and noisy (very close to Gartier Express Way) and went downstairs to ask for a room […] change. We finally got a room which can fit two people in. It was great. The lady who did cleaning and maintenance was very professional and pretty nice to us. The parking is $12 per day. But we were very lucky to have free parking because the advertisement on Hotel.com mentioned free-parking. So I will definitely recommend this hotel for your stay if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room and want to pay less. My question left for hotel management is why I was offered a single room in the first place whereas I booked for two people. Is that little trick the Hotel always tries to play with customers? 더 보기

I would definately say here again. One small concern: no signs for whereabouts of ice machine. I walked the entire length of the second floor, no ice machine to be founf, no signs to indicate where one was. Maybe put up a sign in the elevator? Not a complaint.......just sayin'. Scott H

I read the a previous review that you can touch the highway when you open the window... it is so true and not only that you hear noises from the highway 24/7! It is the city's main highway. We were on the 4th floor and they would not change the room for us when we requested to move. I could not sleep for 3 nights and could not wait to get out there […] for our next destination! 더 보기

Found the price pretty expensive for the quality of hotel, should have included our breakfast for that price.

Room was very small, bathroom uncomfortably small, with nowhere to put personal items except on toilet tank. Room was right beside the highway and very noisy. When I asked to be moved to the other side of the hotel I was told that they were booked up. Parking was free which was nice and easy access to Lakeshore.

Very nice hotel. Parking was at a premium, so chances are, another car was blocking you in the mornng. But, the employees did a good job all weekend shuffling cars around. Not a great area except the location to the lake and downtown.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The first night we were on the first floor facing the busy road. Let's just say it wasn't a quiet night. Also our air conditioner seemed to be leaking all over the rug which we complained about and they immediately sent someone to check on it then upgraded us to a bigger room on a higher floor. I stayed in a room on the lake side and it was quiet, roomy and clean. I enjoyed the belcony and the quality of the room. My expectations were simple and I was therefore satisfied.

Hotel was a little old and the rooms were TOO small!!! The bathroom was so small, they had to saw off a piece of the door so it would close because the toilet was in the way!!!!!

We had a great time there. They were very curtious to both of us and we would stay there again. The Rate is better then any Hotel that is close to everything a person needs. The room was very clean. Our room was very nice. We paid a bit more than we usually do for a room but the convenience to where we needed to be made it worth the money. However, our room faced the expressway and the traffic was just as heavey at night as it was during the day. All night long all we heard was trucks, motorcycles and cars going by. The Hotel was pretty well good, minus that my room was literally beside the highway. If you're looking for a quiets night sleep. this is not the hotel for you. If you can sleep through a little bit of traffic at night, the hotel is fantastic.

Excellent staff

I really enjoyed my stay and will stay again upon my return to the Scotiabank Carribbean festival, very close to everything, bus line, and lakeshore. I would recommend this hotel.

Impossible to sleep with constant traffic outside window. No refrigerator. No shuttle from airport. Nice people, though.

RIght across the street from the beach and a $15 cab ride from the Molson Ampitheatre when we were in town for a concert. The hotel staff was fantastic and very accommodating. Not bad but a bit far from the downtown core for the money they were asking. I was initially worried about the sound from the highway running past my window....and when I say past my window, I mean at the same level as my window . But the windows were terrific at keeping the noise out....view was nothing to write home about though. The hotel REALLY […] stands by their 3:00 check in time. There were a number of us who tried early check-in (2:15 pm) only to be told to come back later....meaning there was a long line-up at 3:00. Note to manager - you may want to open your lobby bar earlier than 4:30 if you won't let people check in until 3:00. But the place was clean. I come from England and in some instances, where a building is facing a noisy road, triple glazing is used. If you used this in the rooms facing the highway, it would be an all round lovely hotel. Your staff were polite and helpful, the room was clean and well presented, the food was very nice. Pity it was all spoilt by the noise. We stayed here because it was cheaper than the city hotels and parking was free. It is one block to the street car or bus stop that would take you into the city or subway station, about a 25 min ride. You can walk to High Park or the beach. The beach had a lot of birds and I found it gross, go to the islands if you want to beach it. The rooms and bathrooms […] were small but clean. The hotel was nice but showed general ware or age in some places. Our room faced the highway but I only noticed loud motorcycles with the window open. I had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast is not included but we sent to the cafe in High Park, they have three eggs, toast, home fries and sausage or bacon for $2.99. My wife and I ate there all three days we stayed in town. 더 보기

perfect location on the lake shore. nice inside, clean, good service. Gym, only cons is that there is no indoor pool, no complimentary breakfast for more then 2 night stay. Food selection was excelent. would stay again.
