The Hotel was beautiful and convenient. the only couple flaws i can say is the shower, the water doesnt fully go down the drain, which made a stench either than that the room was as comfortable as your own home. although the walls were thin it was still manageable. the hotel was in the perfect sopt, in between shopping area and the beach was feets away […] from the hotel, wet willies in one block down. the staff was very understandable with needs the guest needed to meet. i never heard a no from them. this hotel looks like it should be a younger crowd. if you want to party and relax and enjoy convenience this is the place for you. 더 보기

Perfect location in central miami beach with everything in walking distance. Parking 1 block away cheaper than the valet parking option. Right in middle of art deco district & only 1 block from the beach, couldnt ask for a better location - everything walkable. Having read other reviews about the noisevwe asked for room on 3rd floor. Room was spotlessly […] clean and crisply decorated in funky style, but a little on the small side. We liked the built in ipod/iphone music and charging station in the room with a really well stocked mini bar. Noise from the bar could be a problem for some but seemednto stop about 11pm. Location is great, just a block away from the beach and a few blocks from everything else. The price was right. Perfect for a get away without breaking the bank. The staff was nice. Great hotel if you want a good place to stay and party in south beach ocean Drive. Was small but clean, beds were comfortable and the closet was surprisingly big. We didn't care about not having all the other hotel amenities becuase we were out all day. Happy hour and Dj were great but Kareoke night was not so much. was the more happening hotel in the […] area. Highly reccomend this hotel if you are young and looking to party in South Beach. If your looking for a quiet relaxing time I would not stay here.

I stayed there for Spring Break. The Hotel is one block away from the beach and one block away from a club and shopping area. There is a restaurant in the front, a bar with free drinks during happy hour and a DJ that plays music all day. So its great for spring break but not for families.

Words cannot adequately express my displeasure with this hotel. I booked using the Hotels.com app on my phone while in Miami and called them in advance to find out more about the airport shuttle. They told me that "It runs every hour, except on Wednesday when it runs every two hours." Unfortunately, this is not true because it starts at 7:00am. I choose […] the hotel to minimize the total cost between hotel rate and cab fare, but now I had to pay $33 for the fare. I politely explained the situation, but the desk clerk was not helpful and said that he would forward my complaint to his manager. The manager never responded. I had an identical experience with two additional clerks. I then called Hotels.com and explained the situation. They called the manager and he denied that I was ever told incorrect shuttle times. His opinion is false and baseless, but he should have had the decency to discuss it with me personally. Call me a liar and a charlatan to my face, please. Thankfully, Hotels.com addressed my concerns in a very polite and professional manner. Beyond that, the lobby was EXTREMELY loud with an acoustic guitar player and DJ until way past 11pm. The carpet in the hallways was stained and torn. The shower was poorly designed. so water leaked everywhere. The bathroom was newly remodeled, but the toilet looked old and the toilet seat had definitely been used for years. The location is not bad, but there are plenty of other options. Excluding service, this is probably a 1.5 or 2 star hotel, at best. Given my experience and that lack of professionalism, I would rate it as a 0.0 or 0.5 star hotel. There are much cleaner, quieter, and more professionally staffed locations for the same or less money in South Beach. AVOID THE WHITELAW!!!! 더 보기

The place is small. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Granted it is a boutique hotel, therefore most are known to be small. Personnel was great! Location awesome! Definitely a girly place. This is a nice hotel with a chic vibe. Close to everything and the Staff was friendly and didn't bother. Meaning you have the freedom to do as you wish. Good Place to take that certain some one to relax with.

The walls must be paper thin because it's so loud and noisy. They rushed me to check out. The staff had an attitude. I won't be staying there ever again.

The hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is a huge plus at a reasonable price. This is not a hotel if you want peace and quite, but then you probably shouldn't be staying on South Beach if that is what you want. The only complaint was a very noisy air conditioner unit. I would definitely stay there again.

I went for the Rock n Roll 1/2 marathon and needed to get a good nights sleep. When the hotel says they play music in the lobby it is an understatement. They have a bar in the lobby. Loud, very loud music which my room was booked on the 1st floor, down the hall, and there is no way any sleep would be had until they closed. Really wasn't as bad as I expected. The staff was great for the four days I was there! Food was good. The room and the interior is a "boutique" style, which i personally did not care for, but my daughter loved it, so you know what that means! Me and my friend stayed here for a week and we lived in room 107 on the first floor, and the rooms are NOT quiet. You can hear everything that goes on outside and since there is always party like 24/7 in the lobby with really loud music it sounds just like you have a stereo with high volume on in your room all the time. I normally dont have any problems […] with noise and stuff but this was exceptional. Even though me and my friend where 23 years old and there to party, it was little bit too much. BUT the hotel is really nice and the location is awesome, so if you can get a room further away from the lobby on floor 2 or 3 i am sure it would be very good. I would come back here but not on the first floor. The service in the reception was OK, not excellent service and sometimes you had to wait a bit but we wasnt in a rush. The male bartenders where not very serviceminded and made you wait a lot before you got service, but the female bartenders was really nice and helpful. Hotel location was cool. Right in the middle of everything. They don't wash your towels every day. He hallways smell like throw up and mildew. It's perfect if you don't plan to actually stay in your room most of the time. The bedroom setup is cute tho.

I stayed at the Whitelaw with my boyfriend for his 25th birthday. The hotel is a cute small hotel and is perfect if you want to pregame and party. This is NOT a vacation hotel.. i wouldn't recommend it to people looking for a quiet room. The room was small and kind of cramped fir 4 adults, and it was majorly hot. The service from the staff was great […] especially ANDREW! If you are parking a vehicle i dont recommend to use their valet, it takes too long to get the car and its expensive. I recommend parking on 7th and Washington. There was a sun desk on the top floor and it was a perfect place to relax in the middle of the night and enjoy the real MIAMI NIGHTLIFE. the beach is only a 5 minute walk away and there is a great pizzeria called GINO'S that is a must have after leaving the club. 더 보기

Location is great for shopping or party and for just a quick stop 1-2nights to start a Florida tour convinent. rooms in the 1st floor behind the bar are too loud, i would avoide them

Hotel is pretty much smack bang on South beach, one block walk from the beach, excellent food in the lounge/bar downstairs (ok priced). Beds/pillows comfortable and clean, decor is fantastic. Hotel was super cute, a tad bit 'romantic', not exaclty the family place, but otherwise great. The staff was a bit rude and incompetent, they could not answer questions right away, i called 10 times to confirm my reservation and couldn't get a straight answer - i asked for two double beds but they gave me a king size and wanted to charge me $40 extra […] to change - i had to call the head office of the entire hotel group and they got it sorted out. then at check out the clerk accused my dad of not paying the bill for the 2nd room and was rather rude and adamant about it, only to print out the reservation receipt and it said PAID in caps! I think they need to work on their customer service a lot more, but otherwise a great lil place to stay, great location, great free HH, internet, sheesha (though not very good sheesha), I would go back and I would recommend it. 더 보기

Great for people who need a place to take a shower and sleep for a few hours. The location was great but the sheets were dirty, the toilet was leaking and there was no bathtub. Only an area in the bathroom with a showerhead.

Booked this hotel last minute for my bachelorette party, along side the great price it was perfectly decorated for an all girl party!! Loved it, the hotel was super clean and so comfortable. The bar downstairs was awesome. Great happy hour!! I was very pleased and will definately stay here again.

This boutique hotel was very feminine. I liked it and thought it was cute. The staff was very helpful & kind. They allowed me an early check-in and a late check-out. It is perfect for girly girls because of the decorum. Great location!!!! Good price for location on SouthBeach.

this was one of the nicest hotels iv stayed in. friendly staff, big clean room, plasma tv, cd player, huge bed, mini bar, sunbathing area, happy hour, wifi.....really really good. only bad thing is there isnt a pool, but many of the central hotels are the same.

Great location of the hotel since it is located close to the beach and all what South Beach has to offer. Nicely decorated hotel but I agree with previous posts about staff being a bit 'too cool for school'. If your going to party this is a great hotel. Problem I had was they put us on the first floor and I hadn't slept in almost 24 hours. The lobby has a bar in it which apparently gives them the right to play the music LOUD until 2am. I called and complained a few times but I was told a few times they had the right to play it that loud. (when I say loud […] I mean I couldn't even hear the tv in my room). I was very disappointed with the the Whitelaw and was in disbelief that it received a 3 star rating and did not come with a major disclaimer. The disclaimer should have read, "This hotel is not very family friendly because we are trying to create a nightclub atmosphere with loud techno music playing in the lobby throughout the day and most of the night […] and full bar that dominates the lobby. Also, this place caters to guests who party all night and make lots of noise." If you are looking for vibrant party atmosphere, then this place is fine. If you are looking for peace and comfort, then I would look elsewhere. Cons: - Loud techno music played in the lobby most of the day into the night. Can't imagine having a room over the lobby. - Cold and indifferent front desk. Not friendly at all. It felt more like club with employees who were just "too cool for school". - The was *NO PHONE* in the room. There were was a crazy loud party going on in at least 2 rooms next to ours and we couldn't even call the front desk to complain. - Security issue. Our door did not have a security latch which made me very uncomfortable given that there were very drunk and obnoxious people next door. Furthermore, there was no peephole on the door either. - The tiles in the bathroom floor were falling apart to the point where there were some soft spots on the floor. - Housecleaning failed to give us fresh towels one day. - Housecleaning permanently parked their big garbage bin right by our door. This is a great hotel if you love South Beach and all it has to offer. While the rooms are small (it's a boutique) they were fine for me and my two daughters. It's ALWAYS a party in the lobby! great location... hotel was ok, but it was clean. people were partying next store but turned down the music immediately when asked. great location, one block from ocean drive and lots of bards and restaurants. also hotels.com thinks they have free parking, but they don't. you can park on the street if you can find something though.

I just recently returned from MIA this past Sunday... PROS: 1. Free Airport Shuttle 2. Super Easy Check-In 3. Very Friendly Staff 4. Free Daily Happy Hour and you can visit their other hotels a few doors down if you prefer to explore a different HH. 5. Nice Roof top deck 6. LOCATION - we only took a cab once to a club called PLAY. Everything was within […] walking distance...Wet Willies, Mangoes, Fat Tuesday all right around the corner...Mansion a few blocks away...1 block from the beach 7. Safe Location CONS: 1. Super small room 2. Housekeeping only made up one bed each day - very odd because thats literally the only thing she would do 3. They never actually cleaned anything - I went into the storage closet and got a broom and cleaned the room myself each day 4. Our toliet was clogged - super hard to flush because it was so slow...but within 10 minutes they sent maintance up to fix it 5. No Pool Overall, for the price I would stay again...I wouldnt stay at their sister hotel the Shelley because the rooms were even smaller and it was super dark. Great location, can walk everywhere. But hotel is loud, the bar in the lobby has a DJ until 1am. Also lots of loud, drunk people in & out all night long. Great place if your in Sobe to party. Not so great if you want to sleep.

After reading the reviews. I was afraid of the condition of the room. I was pleasantly surprised. It just a block from the beach and a lot of shops, (although I couldn't afford them). The refrigerator is fool of stuff that they want you to use and the snacks were outdated. I went to CVS around the corner and bought stuff for myself because everything […] around was way over priced. I had to move stuff around so my stuff would fit. No biggie. Wash off well at the beach because you will track the sand in your room and its very annoying. I was pretty satisfied! 더 보기

Great location near many restaurants and bars. Only a short block from the beach. Large TV in room was great. Beds very comfortable also. Hotel is perfect for the leisure traveler. Free shuttle to/from Miami International Airport ran perfectly.
