The reception was poor. This hotel requires some guide and explaination for the guest to feel comfortable on first visit. There is no parking at the entrance to the hotel and no bellmen is present. Since the hotel reception is on the second floor, the guest must figure a few things out on his own just to get in and register. The standard room is very […] very small. the room was very clean and the hotel staff very knowledgeable about the area. the room was small, but we got a room that had high ceilings so that we didn't feel claustrophobic.

We got the smallest room with thinnest walls adjacent to elevator. When I inquired if hotel was full the answer was no!

We have stayed in many Philly hotels in the past few years and have always been in roomy, comfortable accommodations. This was a big disappointment. The lobby is wonderful but that's where it stopped. The rooms were cramped and badly laid out. You could barely watch TV from the bed. The bathrooms were tiny and spartan. Smaller room .. lower cost & convenient to Center City

We stayed only one night and were comfortable. The hotel was close to the train/subway station (two blocks) which we took to the airport the following day. We had to walk about 16 blocks to get to the historical district before we discovered the bus. I truly enjoyed the stay. I was disappointed go find that there was no cable TV even though I didn't watch much. The other disappointment was in when checking out and contacting the front desk to have my luggage out front when I came by with my car, they were no where in sight and the luggage was still back in the luggag room.Other than those minor […] issues, it was a very nice experience. 더 보기

The location could not have been better. I must add, my room had a tinny bathroom, no closet, just a hook and a tinny room. Aside from some European hotels, this was the smallest I have stayed in. But if you care about location and value, this was just fine.

Smaller rooms, but right in the heart fo downtown. This hotel's location and price are worth it. Very clean, polite staff. COMPLIMENTARY bottled water.

The hotel is close to Rittenhouse Square and the Kimmel Center/ theater district. Plenty of shopping nearby, and easy access from the airport subway. Loved the automatic check in and lobby amenities . The only downside was a strange bathroom arrangement that made it impossible to open the toilet to a full 90- degree angle. Love it everytime go to Philly I book this hotel in middle of everything

Never again 2nd disapointing stay. We had a 2 night stay. When we had a late arrival and our room reeked of cigarette smoke. When I went to the front desk the solution was to spray deorderizer in the room. Didn't enjoy my first stay and tried them for a second time. Not up to my standards for customer service. I liked it, there are lots of advantages with CQ hotel and I will stay there again next time. It would be good to also get some breakfast but I had a stove in my room. I loved the fact of having access to drinking water.

good value, nice place, excellent service- I would stay agian

The only thing is you need to pay for parking of about 27 dollars a day. So figure that into the bill. If you hunt around the city you might find it cheaper but it was recommended to us to park in the parkade across the street and that was the cost. STILL, a very good value in my opinion. This very centrally hotel, located near lots of shopping, dining (on different scales), and mass transit exceeded my expectations. While the rooms are small, they are cozy and quiet comfortable. But there was so much to do in the surrounding area, I was hardly there. The main attractions are in walking distance. Can't wait to return.

Nice place, but room was very noisy (Traffic- horns and such) Easy to get to from train station, about 1/2 hour walk. food and Mass transit nearby. Fantastic service and staff.

Though I spent 36 hours in Philadelphia on a business trip, I felt reluctant to leave because of the comfort and ease of Club Quarters. The hotel staff and atmosphere made me feel at home and I was able to relax, yet remain focused on work. The location is fantastic and was easy to access from the 30th Street station (I traveled to Philly by train and […] was able to walk directly from the station). I had a great time wandering around Chestnut and the surrounding streets - and felt safe. The staff is fantastic and knowledgeable and, again, made me feel relaxed and at home. The amenities are thoughtful; great wifi access throughout the entire hotel; free printing; computers available in the main library area (a nice, big area); ergonomic desk and chair in the room - perfect for working (and making you WANT to work); bright rooms; microwave and fridge in the rooms so there's no pressure to eat out; FANTASTIC fitness room; board games; extra pillows and blankets; ironing board and iron; WATER FOUNTAINS WITH REUSABLE WATER BOTTLES (so you don't have to bring your own); basic yoga equipment. I could go on and on. My one regret remains not eating at the hotel restaurant or enjoying a drink at the bar, but I'm sure that experience would be fantastic, too. My favourite

Very welcoming, near to sights esp Basilica and two other Catholic churches, St John and St Patrick, near Chinatown and downtown, and Reading Terminal market for those who want to eat Amish food but no time to travel to their towns.

Hotel older, rooms small but clean. Central location. 2 blocks from train station/ subway. Convenient

Very nice place to stay. However, rooms can be small.

A perfectly fine hotel for a short stay. Not too many frills, but perfectly nice and fine. Can't beat the price and location. Clean and fine.

This is the 4th time that we have stayed at the Club Quarters in Philadelphia and we thouroughly enjoyed our stay, as always! The hotel's location is perfect...in the Rittenhouse Squaure with great shopping and awsome food all around!!! The hotel itself is always clean with great service. The rooms, while not the largest rooms, are well furnished and […] quite. We love the help yourself closets between the elevators with extra pillows, pillow cases, irons, ironing boards, etc... I'm having trouble rating this hotel. I want to like it but the truth is that I don't. There are many things to like. If you want to stay in center city west, the location and cost can't be beat. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. My wife and I often remark that we can rarely go to a hotel and not have to clean something. Not […] so here. The rooms are well appointed although outdated and there are lots of free extras like bottled water, coffee in the morning and wifi. Pricier hotels charge for wifi. There is a small microwave and mini fridge in the rooms.  The furniture and decor are older and I think they could upgrade for sure, but the place is comfortable. It's an odd lobby arrangement. You have to go up a very small elevator at street level to get to the main lobby. There is a staircase but they don't allow you to use it which is inconvenient.  On several different occasions there were some unsavory characters hanging in the lower lobby which was very unsettling. Now before you attack or think I'm a rich suburban snob, I'm not. These folks were hustling. Not homeless people asking for money either. You figure out the rest. This occurred on more than one occasion and the hotel didn't do anything to stop it apparently.  The rooms are unpleasantly small. I suppose if I was in town for business that would be fine. But for a weekend get away it was not fun. The TV was even worse. It was a 19 incher mounted on the wall at the opposite end of the room from the bed. Even in a small room it was hard to see. If I was sitting at the desk it would be ok but still small. The bathroom had no exhaust fan which made it stuffy after a shower. The linen and the towels need to be replaced - like months ago. They are thin and worn. The hotel has an arrangement with a parking garage but it is a block away and there is no way to get to the hotel from the garage. Great location. Clean, basic hotel. Nice lobby, sitting area. Very good restaurant, Davio's, located within hotel. Overall, like being at a small, private club.

I booked this hotel last minute and as a result I expected the worst ! As soon as I stepped foot into the lobby I was pleasantly surprised! Very cool looking hotel and the room was nice and clean, a little on the small side but comfortable. The staff was very nice as well and the location of the hotel was right in the center of it all. Club Quarters Philadelphia is convenient to attractions, convention center facilities and other neighbourhoods. The staff were fine, the room quality was fine, but if walls and windows could be made of tissue paper... I was on the 6th floor, not overlooking the main street, and could hear every word of loud conversations taking place as people walked […] outside! When the elevator bell "dinged" as the elevator arrived on the floor, it was heard in my room--6 rooms away from the elevator area. Every word of every conversation had in the room next to me, I was part of. Too bad as in all other ways the service and convenience would make this a fine place to stay. I think my only serious compliant is the comfort of the bed. The bed itself wasn't so bad, but the linens were scratchy and uncomfortable. It made for a really rough night sleep. also we had a hard time getting our thermostat as low as we would have liked, but I try not to hold that against them as we like it lower than most people. Great Price for the location and facilities. Convinient to good dinning and shopping. Transportation was at the front door for whatever you wanted to see in the city. Rooms were clean and modern.
