파라마운트 호텔 (The Paramount Hotel) - 포틀랜드

My favorite hotel in Portland is the Ace cause its funky. Paramount is a close runner up. Not as funky but comfortable, clean, spacious, and great service. Only complaint was the weakish shower head and slowish elevators. View was great, location was great, and the folks were all super friendly and attentive.

Very happy with our choice. Comfortable queen-size beds in good sized room. Expensive parking (like all of the downtown hotels). No room service for breakfast. We were here less than 12 hours from check in to check out, but thought it was better than other places we have stayed in Portland. Would come again.

We stayed at the Paramount while attending a conference at the Hilton. The room was very nice with a great view of both the city and the surrounding hillsides. It was a nice comfortable place to relax in the evening.

friendly staff, great location, clean rooms, free upgrade - all made for a wonderful stay. we'll definitely come back.

I highly recommend this hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, convenient location, and very attractive inside and out.

Thank you to all the staff you were awsome special thanks to the valet doormen who were freindly helpful and gracious! Also to the concierge who always greeted me with a smile I will come back because of my curtious treatment throughout my stay J T

This might be my favorite hotel I have stayed at. The room was clean and the King Bed was probably one of the biggest and most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in my life. My only complaint is that $29 a night seems a little steep for valet parking.

It was wonderful! the max left us two blocks from the hotel. Everyone was helpful and kind. The room had a beautiful view of a nearby square and the hotel is a close walk to food trucks, the river and the MAX. The hotel was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Love the big bottle of shampoo, conditioner and body wash and the vase with cottonballs […] and qtips...it feels a little homier than those individually packed toiletries. great in absolute terms and even more so relative to other hotels in this price range

I stayed in the Paramount because I was visiting Lewis & Clark College of Law for their preview weekend and some events were right down town. The location of this hotel is ideal! While I rented a car, there is a metrorail coming from the airport as well as other trams, which would make travel outside of downtown easy, as well. Valet parking is expensive […] for the hotel, but there is a Smart Park garage only a block away (I used this). It may have been because I had been away for 20 hours by the time I went to bed, but the bed was SO soft--like sleeping on a cloud! One point, though: when they say 4pm check in time, they mean it. I tried to check in a little early, and my room was finished being cleaned at 4:05 pm. There is no continental breakfast, but the location made the expensive price worth it to me (and that bed!). 더 보기

This is a great hotel that we would definatley stay at again. With two little ones in tow there was plenty to see a short distance away. The TriMet stop to go to the Zoo and Childrens Museum was only a block away and Street Cars will take you anywhere you need to be. This hotel is located in the best area in downtown Portland. It sits adjacent to Director's Park in the cultural district. This wonderful tree lined area is flanked by performing arts centers, museums and several beautiful churches. At the other end of the park is the Portland State campus which itself is beautiful. On Saturdays there is a wonderful […] famers market up by the university. The hotel is smaller with subtle luxury and the rooms are terrific. Especially the corner suites. Some look out over the park. You feel that you are in a quiet smaller town yet you are very close to the center of downtown and the Pearl District. There are several great restaurants close by. Very much dissatisfied with valet parking my husband and I went for an overnight stay in DT Portland and decided to do valet instead of self parking so we did and it was $29 for overnight with the hotel but didn't realize that we couldn't trust any of these valet people who supposedly should take care of your car. We got the car the next day to find […] out that one of them had hit our car and didn't notice it damaged once we got back to Seattle without anyone telling us! We felt violated that someone could actually do this and not tell anyone. If any of you valet I would say don't do it at this hotel you can't trust them and if u do take note of your mileage and inspect your car before you leave it's only for your best interest! People nowadays are very inconsiderate and rude. If it happens to u I advise u talk to the GM because that's what we did unhappy as we were when we left I would not valet anymore! 더 보기

My Wife and I stayed here 2 nights. We arrived early in the day and had called ahead to request an early check in. When we arrived, the room was ready and they actually upgraded us to one of the second floor rooms with a balcony. This was VERY nice. The staff is courteous. During my recent stay in Portland I experienced some car troubles. When I arrived at the hotel a parking valet greeted me and asked how my day was going. I explained my car difficulties and within 15 minutes he gave me a name of a garage, directions to it and possible rental car businesses that were open on Sunday. Parking was a issue. Cars were parked in front of hotel and could not find spot to check in.

Hotel was an excellent value in a perfect location. Easy walk to everything, including access to city transportation. Staff were friendly and welcoming. John at the Front Desk was extremely helpful. I loved the Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel :-) Rooms were clean, as were hotel public areas. We will stay at the Paramount again.

Spending a few days at the Paramount was an excellent experience. The Hotel is quite comfortable, well located, and staffed with helpful employees. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family looking for a good place to set up a headquarters for a Weekend downtown.

Would definately stay at this hotel again. Friendly staff and my room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Somehow I wound up with a room that had a shower and jacuzzi tub, which was awesome!

Really enjoyed our first stay at the Paramount. The only issue my wife had was a lack of a "big fluffy" comforter. She also felt the bed covers were a little thin. I had no complaints

Friendly, helpful staff and great room too!

Very comfortable rooms and beds along with great room service. Our room had a balcony that was nice to step out for fresh air. Really appreciated the hotel's effort to be green with bedding/towel service for the multi-night guests. Nice lobby, but for valet parking it would've been nice to have someone greet you at the curb and have help with luggage. […] Other than that, I would recommend staying at this hotel for business or pleasure. 더 보기

THe room was very big with great light and very nicely appointed. The bathroom was very roomy with a hydro tub and separate shower. Staff was both friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very nice but unfortunately the bar was under renovation. Great central location.

Good views of downtown. Very clean and comfy rooms... very nice for the price. I've stayed in much more expensive hotels that weren't as nice. I'd recommend for a short stay in the city... very centrally located for downtown activities, PSU, shopping, Old Town. A theater across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby.

The Paramount Hotel is in a beautiful area of the city. Many wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance, plus the free trolley is right out side the door that will conveniently take you to The Pearl or up to Portland State University. I love staying at the Paramount and plan to again.

My stay at The Paramount was very good. It would be nice if the room service people answered their phone more regularly, so that was mildly frustrating, but I did get through to them when I called back a little later--and the server who came to my room was excellent. I will stay at this hotel again, certainly.

This hotel is very comfortable, with pretty much everything you could ask for in a nicer hotel (except a microwave in the room). It's located downtown, half a block from the park where they have the Farmer's Market on Saturdays. Considering location and price, it is definitely worth looking at.
