Very fine place to stay love it the staff was very friendly

I travel often with my dogs and as careful as I am, they occasionally mess up. This hotel had all tile floors in the room. We loved it and did not feel so worried or stressed as those that have carpeting everywhere. Staff was very friendly, check in and out was a snap. No hassels to deal with. Will stay there again.

It was a bad decision on my part to stay at Y O Ranch Hotel. I should have taken my chances and went to Kerrville then find a hotel that I would deem acceptable to me. The Y O does not have a real fitness center. Three exercise appartuses which do not include a treadmill in a small workout room do constitute a fitness facility. That was very disappointing […] for me. There was no refrigerator in the room nor did that small televison give me any desire to turn on the tube. I was also surprised that there was not a security safe already in the room. At the price that I was charged for the room, I thought that it would have been a part of their standard amentities. Excellent customer service. It is nice to know there are still honest employees that will work with you even when it is your fault. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Thank-you.

Have loved going to this hotel for years. Love the ambiance of the lobby. The hotel is getting older and needs some updating maintenance attention.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel looked great it was decorated for Christmas. The only issue we had was that we could hear the guest next door talking and we could hear their TV that night then early the next morning. That was a lttle annoying.

We stayed at the Y O Ranch for 3 nights. The tile floors were so nice as we knew they were very clean comapred to carpet in other hotels. Love that idea. Our room was nice and we loved the location. Did not eat on property as we were playing golf all three days in area towns. The only concern I had was the "hottness" of the shower and bath water. It […] was just above luke warm. I would have liked it hotter. Overall, it was a charming place to stay and we will stay there in the future. Much more quaint and personal than a "chain" hotel/motel. 더 보기

I could hear the next door TV loud and clear on Sunday morning as it kept me up between the hours of 2:00am and 5:00 am. The sound was from the adjoining room (I stayed in room 277) and it was really annoying.

Wow! What an experience.

Very Texan style hotel. Staff was friendly. Nothing fancy, but clean. The only problem was the a/c unit was right next to the bed.

I sent secteray of my business on a quick get away and she want to go back to the hotel. She was amazed with the rich history

Our churches in south Texas hold aa annual retreat in Kerrville. The YO Ranch was only minutes from the conference center. They had comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. They were convenient to restaurants, shopping and the highway, though far enough to eliminate noise. A great value for the money.

Older property, but very clean with lots of character. Large, spacious rooms and bathrooms, good beds. Plenty of character!!!

We only stayed one night at the YO but it was a good night.We were treated well by the Staff and the room was spacious and soo clean and confy. Also the area was quite,so we really got a restful night's sleep. The Rest.was clean and the food was to die for. Thank You YO and Staff. We will be going back soon.

Room was rustic and well kept and property had good amenities. Great area for antiquing and wine tasting.

Enjoyed my brief stay at the Y.O. Hilton. The room was clean, comfortable and the Air Conditioning was the best. The outside temperature was 103 or higher, but it even got cold in my room. My only complaint is that the halls were noisy. I could hear people talking and closing their doors. I've stayed at the YO Hotel many times during the last ten years & have always been pleased with the accommodations. They have a great restaurant The Branding Iron, gift shop & excellent staff. Most importantly they are one of the few hotels that allow pets & the hotel is always clean and smells fresh. You would never know pets are allowed by the way […] they maintain the hotel and grounds. I have not been to the YO Hilton in about 20 years. I was really looking forward to my stay because I have fond memories of the place being so posh and nice. Let's just say that there has been no updating since it opened in 1984. The rooms are very bland. White walls, small cheap furniture, old bedding with holes in it. This hotel is in need of some […] remodeling and updating! PLUS, none of the ice machines on the premise were working. When I went to the front desk to inquire about a working ice machine, I was told none of them were working. I asked how long they had been out and was told two to three days! I know there had just been a big photographer convention in Kerrville that week and I cannot imagine the guests were thrilled with no ice for their stay. Very disappointing. 더 보기

I will say that the room was very comfortable and clean and the staff was very nice - so no complaints there. But the television was a bit dated and kept emitting a buzzing noise that became increasingly louder the longer the t.v. was on. Although we did have Wi-Fi in the room, the service kept bumping us off. Because the television was subpar, we elected […] to watch a movie online, but that was not possible as the internet connection was obviously weak. One other incident was the wake-up call. The call came as scheduled, but the voice message was a bit muffled and hard to understand. So, if someone was only interested in a clean and comfortable room then, yes, I would recommend. But if it was important to have electronics that worked correctly then I would have to say a definite No. 더 보기

What a beautiful hotel...all the ambiance of a ranch, comfprtable and quiet.

When my girlfriend and I pulled up to the YO Ranch Hotel we were surprised at how big and nice it looked for the price we paid. The lobby is gigantic and surreal, and our room was very clean and comfortable. However, when I couldn't connect to their WiFi with my iPad I called the front desk and they transferred me to their tech support group in INDA. […] No joke. You'd think by now they would know how to help people connect with their iPads. They also couldn't help me when I asked if I could get a tylenol packet or something of the like, which is something I'd expect most hotels to do. The hotel was great. They gave us a low room close to the pool because we had small kids that would swim. We did forget an expensive doll and when we called back they said they would "check the next day." I felt like with the room just steps from their main lobby they could have checked right away. They never found it. Not their fault we forgot it...just […] wish they would have been better about finding it! 더 보기

Ants in our room. Phone did not work. Notified desk of phone nothing done. Did bring extra pillows upon request. Notified desk of ants upon check out , received only regrets.

We had a very delightful stay at the Y O Ranch Hotel. We would definately stay there again, and would also recommend it to anyone looking for a good value and a descent hotel.

Had a great stay will go back

TV was on the fritz during NCAA semigame. Finally brought us another TV late in the game and then compted our breakfast the next morning. No fridge or microwave tho. Floor is tile and not carpet which was a little cold, but bed was great!

This is a unique older high quality hotel built to mimick the ranchers way of life. Built originally by the owner of the YO Ranch. The rooms are over sized with mexican saltilo tile. Price is reasonable and the hotel lobby is like a small rancher's museum. The steaks in the restaurant are very good. The front lobby/walk in are is very nice and upscale hill country style. as long as you don't mind dead stuffed animals everywhere, i liked it. The rooms on the other hand are very out dated with old furniture and decor. the bathrooms had pink sinks and bath tub. the room was large and spacious. but there was no refrigerator or coffee or microwave as […] you would expect to see in this price range for a hotel. over all not a bad experience just out dates furniture and decoration. 더 보기

Considering the location (a small town about an hour outside of San Antonio) and the condition of our room (mold in bathroom), I thought the cost of the room was too high.

We checked in to a room that had not been cleaned. Bed was a mess, towels all over the floor. When we called the front desk, they were very non-chalant about it and put us in another room... with double beds instead of a king as I had requested. We then tried to get a pay per view movie, but it wouldn't work, when we called the front desk we were told […] "maybe it's down". Attitude and service was not what one would expect. 더 보기

This hotel screams Texas Hill Country. One of if not the best traditional hotels in Kerrville. Hotel is a bit spread out. it can be a hike from an outlying room to the lobby. Great people, though bar service was a little slow. Large rooms have saltillo tile floors.
