Rooms were efficently set up. Staff was extremely helpful. Close to airport with free shuttle provided. Close to good restaurants.

The outside appearance and the condition of the lobby did not impress but once inside the room I was quite impressed. It was clean and updated. There was a $10 parking fee that I was not aware of until after I checked in. So be aware.

If you're going to catch the shuttle to the airport this is a great hotel to do it from. Watch the $10 additional parking fee - turn that rental in early. Slightly older hotel, certainly not a resort, (detached outside pool that is open May-Octoberish and a detached restaurant and coffee shop) but comfortable clean rooms for a quick stay. I was in town for a memorial service and I didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel. Having said that, the time I did spend there was great and the staff at the front desk were very pleasant during my check-in and check-out.

I used the hotel to stay the night before an early flight. It was a great price and the accommodations were adequate. This hotel has a park/fly plan but it fills up fast so call ahead. You probably won't get the Hotels.com price for the room though.

They charge $10 for parking per night. The first night they told me to park in the fire lane because there was literally nowhere else to park. I was woken up many times over the night by the fact that the doors didn't shut right so when my neighbors left or entered their rooms it woke me up because I am a light sleeper. When I checked out, I asked them […] to remove the parking charges because I felt it was wrong to charge for parking when they didn't have any available. They did end up removing one night of parking. They never gave me a total but handed me a receipt stating that only $13 had been charged to my card which would have been correct. The Red Lion was a great place to stay the night before departing from Seattle Airport. It easily compares and holds up to the pricier Holiday Inn. One can walk from the airport to the hotel. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Free WiFi and friendly front-desk. The value-price ratio is unbeatable. I will stay here again!

It was located close to the airport, but didn't hear any airport traffic. The restaurant was located by the hotel and the food was good.

The staff, location, and cleanliness of the hotel were excellent.

Excellent stay/service, but I do not understand why a paying customer needs to pay an additional parking fee for 1 night :(

The hotel is OK, but they've started charging $10 plus tax (not included in the room rate) to park in their outdoor parking lot. I've stayed there many times and this is the first time I've been charged to park there. Because it is so close to SeaTac, they feel they can now add on a parking charge. I expect that when I stay at a downtown hotel, but […] no way am I paying extra for parking at this hotel. There's plenty of hotels nearby that provide lot parking free with a paid night at their hotels. I've paid "park & fly" at the Red Lion in 2010 when I left my car there for a week, but charging an overnight guest to park in their (empty) lot just cost them a customer. 더 보기

This was a very comfortable hotel. Since they have completed the light rail getting to Seattle downtown is just two blocks and a cheap train ride away. I drove a big box truck and during the night they set cones around my truck and helped me with backing out in the morning I am very impressed.

Very clean. Good showers. Provided us with extra robes, even hunting us down in the jacuzzi to deliver them. The pillows were too large and uncomfortable. Maybe offer different size pillows for different preferances.

Was very impressed with quality of room and bed was extremely comfortable. Bar and Grill next door with good food. Also like the free shuttle to Mall and Airport. Would stay here again!

The reason we stayed was the reputation, price and free parking for our trip..

Hotel was great but the heat doesn't work they had to bring a small heater to room. If you don't mind the cold it a great place to stay but over priced.

Great staff! Room wonderful. Cons: 1) Room failed to heat up, so it was chilly. 2) Parking space are few. 3) Hard to check in with all the cars being parked by Masters Parking Lot in the way.

We were so looking forward to soaking in the hot tub on a cold, snowy night in March. Imagine our disappointment when we had to go outside and down the stairs to a cold, stand alone hut housing a "hot tub" containing warm, cloudy water! So we thought we would jump into a hot shower before heading back but the washroom was SO cold and the water was not […] even warm! So disappointed with this facility! It's a quick ride from the aiport! Room was clean but noisy from the icemaker in the hallway filling every 15-20 minutes. So...if you need a good night sleep you will need to request a "quiet" room. Friendly shuttle service personnel.Good food and clean room.

I always stay at the Red Lion when I have an early morning flight out of SEATAC. They offer a 24 hour shuttle to the Airport so I don't have to hassel with early morning rental car turn in. Rooms are large and comfortable.

We decided to stay at a Hotel due to having to be at the airport at 4:00am. The beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Receiving a wake up call and shuttle to the airport on time was a God send. Stayed overnight on my way to and from Kauai. Minutes from Seatac by shuttle. I was happier with my room on 3 than on 5. Don't know why!

The dead bolt lock did not work on my door - Room 502. I was too tired to call and ask for help. I used the chain lock. I wasn't too concerned but it was interesting that the lock did not work when there was a small sign above it encouraging guests to use the lock for the safety! Have stayed in many Red Lions ... this is the only one that I have stayed in without a restaurant or room service. Don't expect to eat after 9:00 pm, since affiliated restaurant next door closes for sit down meals. Don't expect room service from affiliated restaurant, since it is not available. Parking is very limited and you are kind of on your own […] if all the parking spots are taken ... and this is a common problem since restaurant has karaoke until very late and patrons take up parking spots. Very nice in every way, except for one item. There is a scrumptious photo of a hamburger in the elevator that is available in the associated restaurant next door. My husband and I ordered one each. It was a joke. The meat was scorched on one side. It was about a half inch in thickness, and was lost in the bun. For what it is, a decent hotel near the airport, it works. Good reliable shuttle service, polite and professional desk staff.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Red Lion near the airport in Seattle last week (Feb 2012). The parking charge was not disclosed until I was fully committed with the room key in my hand; I booked a king and received 2 queens; the television reception was very low quality; and the batteries in the TV remote control were dead.
