Very well run - good stay

The Hyatt Santa Clara is an older (80's style) hotel next to the convention center. The hotel is large and reminds me a lot of the MGM Grand in Vegas - lots of rooms, some with terraces. While the hotels decor is a bit outdated, I found the rooms to be be very well maintained, clean and comfortable. I loved the big long desk in front of the window where […] I could spread out. This is definitely a good deal with a good rate. The rooms were quiet and spacious. The only complaint was the fee for wireless. I know hotels make a lot of money on this, but if it was included it would have been a slam dunk. 더 보기

Bathroom in room is a little small for 2 people. Other than that the place is excellent.

This is a very nice, convenience hotel to stay. Public transient is walking distance from the hotel. Right by Our Lady Of Peace catholic church which was where our family celebrated East service this year. It was a very nice family reunion place for us.

The restaurant's chef was excellent. Food was great!

All hotels should be offering free Wifi.

clerk was very helpful and friendly. found mold in the washroom

Staff was great and they had a nice workout facility. Rooms were dated and had a musty smell to them.

The parking and location are perfect..Ask to NOT have a refrigerator in your room if you are not using it. The unit was so loud. Also walls are soooo thin you can hear everything in ajoining rooms. Staff is very helpful. Hotel rooms are clean and kept. I did not have time for restaurants nor bar but they appeared to be full. I did use room service and […] ordered a pizza was not pleased with their idea of sauce as it was just large pieces of tomatoes. Everyone at this hotel is exceptional from the front desk to the wait staff. I watched these guys go beyond what was required of them to make everyone happy and comfortable. They also have a wonderful bar and lounge, perfect for informal meetings.

We came in from Utah and chose to stay at this hotel for its location. The only complaint is that there is not enough handicap parking for a hotel this size. We came back form funeral saturday night and there was no handicap or other parking available in front of the hotel. Valet said we would have to park in back in the parking structure. HELLO!!! […] Have a Placard for handicap parking becasue of a bad knee and back. I made comment regarding this as we drove away. The Valet guy tried to flag us down. Daughter refused to park in structure and make me walk all that way, so she came back to front and dropped me off, then valet said he heard what I said as we drove away and he was sorry and she could park in the valet parking area for free. I tipped him $10.00! But they need more than 8 handicap spots in front of the hotel and police it, because there was one car with out handicap plates or placard in a handicap spot. Every one was very nice, even the housekeeping and it was a very pleasant stay. They even accomodated us with a room closer to the elevator. 더 보기

Nice hotel... comfortable, convenient and very suitable for our business trip. Choosing the breakfast option with the booking was definitely worth the price. A full buffet is offered including made-to-order eggs and omelets... The finishes are a bit dated, but still higher-end and well kept... I have no issues with my stay there, my 2rd in the past year. Well, one minor one. Most hotels now are offering breakfast with the cost of the room, Hyatt does not.But I knew that when I booked it.

When we got to the hotel we were shocked to see how beautiful it was for such an amazing rate! We have decided to stay here when we are in town. Room was super clean, bed was comfy...the breakfast buffet was awesome too, hot or cold food, really had a good time staying here!

Newer facility. Unless you are attending a convention a bit too big and generic for what you get. Parking tends to be in a garage out back with a walk around to the front of the building.

Very nice hotel. Good for business and pleasure. Funny thing was that I guess due to gigs stays, you had to pay the Internet charge per device and there was a download limit!

A very good place to stay in the Santa Clara area, clean, quiet, and comfortable (great bed!). I do recommend this place and will stay again, whenever I can find a good rate on hotels.com (which is rare). I had best hotel experience. They provide warm, professional, comfortable service. I will difinately stay there at Hyatt San Jose again when I have a business trip. I also enjoyed having breakfast at restaurant TusCa. Thank you!

Rooms are clean but a little to expensive for location

The hotel is great in all, including cleanliness, nice staff, good location, comfortable room. Only one wish is free internet access to hotel guests. You already try to make the guests to be as comfortable and convenient as you could. Free internet access would only make them feel more like at home and come back to stay at this 'home away from home' […] again. At this era of information, internet is something that anyone would like to have it and could use it either for pleasure or business purposes. To make it free is not something that the hotel would lose that much and rather a gain of the returns of the guests. You might make some money out of the internet charges, but it's not worth it if you think of the money you would make by satisfied customers who would come back to stay again and all of those they would recommend. I personally don't care too much of how beautiful the room looks like, even though it's nice to have. However the convenience of getting my laptop out and just check my email or surf the internet for the latest YouTube videos with the complimentary WiFi service is more than the most contemporary pictures on the wall. Even the Business Center of the Hyatt hotel would charge the guests for their use of computers. Some less expensive hotels/motels can give it for free, why not Hyatt? 더 보기

First let me say that it was so amazing to be treated with respect and not judged by our color or how much money we have. As soon as you walk though the doors of this hotel, you are treated like they really appreciate your business. Very accommodating to my family (we had a baby) and the bellman was awesome!!!! Most people hate having a non fitted bottom sheet. I am one of those people. I realize it saves money but it is a very uncomfortable sleeping situation having a loose sheet bndle up. I di not have a good restful sleep.

This hotel is beyond what I expected. The staff was very nice and friendly. My room was very meticulous and smells fresh. I had an amazing view from my room. I love seeing beautiful view at night and in the morning as well and the view the I got was really nice. The bed was very comfortable. I haven't sleep so comfortably in awhile so that definitely […] enhances my relaxation through the night. The restaurants are not that far from the hotel. My only feedback is that the Wifi is not free. I understand the movie and food service adds up with the cost, unfortunately the Wifi is included. Excellent price for the Hyatt Regency, however i had five rooms, 3 on one floor and 2 on another. i was attending a convention with a group and if you went through the convention housing reservations you received your accomodations. I went through hotels.com and it was obvious I wasn't going to get my 5 double bed rooms unless they were on multiple […] floors. I could have had the rooms on the same floor but then they would have been single beds which did not work for group. No complaints about the stay just the pecking order. 더 보기

Totally disappointed for a hotel of this high class brand. one of the pillow cases is almost black. Hotels.com description includes wireless internet, but actually it is not free. Other discrepancies between the description and what you actually get. Fortunately, after calling Hotels.com to complain, I got $15 credit for next booking.

The rooms were clean and the beds where comfy. I added the breakfast plan and the food was delicious. The price was reasonable. When I come to San Jose again, this is the place I will stay. I was very happy with this hotel.....

Only thing that was a problem was the heating in the room. It was very warm. Turned off the heat and air completely and solved the problem.

Clean and well-designed rooms, comfortable beds, decent staff, and lousy and overpriced WiFi. I can recommend the hotel, but next time I am in the area, I will look carefully at other alternatives.

WIthin walking distance to Great America. Service was great and they offered a complimentary late check-out. Breakfast buffet at the Tusca was good but we waited in line for about 10-15 minutes and it seemed like the servers kept forgetting what we asked for. Other than that it was a clean and comfortable hotel that I would def recommend!

Wonderful hotel in all aspects. Free parking, great breakfast buffet, nice staff and nice facility close to Great America. We would stay there again.

The over-all experience was fine. The room was nice but too small for 4 persons. The gym was excellent. However, the pool was designed for kids. My daughter compared the breakfast buffet as college dorm food.
