This hotel is amazing. I have stayed in various hotels around the world from bijou to top drawer, and believe me, this is top drawer. Fantastic and unique property plus highly professsional yet friendly staff. This wonderful place, with all its history, makes you feel that you are a guest in a private home rather than a hotel. Added to this the food […] is simply 5 star. A very winning combination. I urge my fellow travellors to try this place to be transported to the Scotland of a traveller's dreams, comfort as a priority and food and service to die for. All this and only an easy and scenic drive 40 mins from the wonderful city of Edinburgh. Enjoy!! 더 보기

Beautiful Hotel. I loved the walled garden and the luxury of reading the papers in the fabulous 1st floor lounge after breakfast. The staff were lovely. We paid a supplement directly to the hotel to upgrade ( I like a light and airy room and i didnt want to be in an attic room with small windows), I was a little disappointed with the size of the room […] ( Neidpath )and the bathroom was small and only had a shower, not a bath. The TV was also quite small. The room was nicely appointed, but the sofa was in the corner and blocked access to the best view . 더 보기

It had been a very long drive.........BUT from the moment we were relieved of our cases at the entrance to Hotel, the stay just got better, we were escorted straight to our room. Our ‘booking in’ form was in our room, so none of the ‘standing around’ in reception waiting to be allocated a room. The view from the room was stunning. The staff were friendly […] and very helpful. The food and the accommodation was excellent, and the location was superb. The price on the weekend that we visited was marginally more expensive than the TV advertised ‘chains’ but was well worth it. My significant other half wanted to take the manager home with her! We have been in the U.K. for the past 3 weeks and stayed at many similar properties. The Cringletie has been our favorite. Lovely hotel, wonderful staff, fabulous dining, superb setting.

We stayed here as part of a big "0" birthday celebration. The hotel is well sign posted from the main road and has it's own access road that crosses a bridge and leads you on up a gentle slope, finally to sweep around a corner and brings the hotel into view. At this point, you realsie that the website photos probably do not fully do justice to the place. […] We were lucky with the weather, which always helps but we have to say that the hotel was wonderful, as was the location and as were all the staff that we met. We ate in the hotel. The dining room was delightful, the service fantastic and the food excellent. We had booked a junior suite so our room was great. Plenty of space and very comfortable. A lovely bay window where you could sit and look out over part of the grounds, watching the rabbits, pheasants and various other birds as they went about their business. In the adjoining fields were sheep, cows and horses with the occasional sighting of deer. Guests are free to walk anywhere within the gounds and this gives an opportunity to explore and sit in different places to take in the scenery. The Scottish Borders, as we discovered, was glorious with lots of very lovely places to visit within easy drive of the hotel. As you probably realise, we were delighted with our choice of hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone. Thank you to Duncan, Linda, Heather and all the staff for making us welcome and our stay so pleasant. We look forward to returning. 더 보기

Cringletie House is a beautifully appointed hotel which is surrounded by wonderful countryside. The staff are attentive and make you feel immediately at home. We stayed here just after the new owners had purchased the hotel about 8 years ago and it was our first visit back since then and we were so pleased to see how much loving work has been carried […] out on both the hotel and the gardens - the bathrooms are luxurious and the special touches in the suites make all the difference. Fick ett rätt litet hörnrum, men det var OK för en kort vistelse. Mycket god service och bemötande! Åt en väldigt god middag på hotellet och även om vi tänkt ta avsmakningsmenyn, som det visade sig man var tvungen att beställa i förväg, så var vi väldigt nöjda och belåtna och kan varmt rekommendera restaurangen! Lantligt läge utan något annat i närheten […] utan att ta bilen. 더 보기
