Very comfortable bed!

My wife and I have stayed at this hotelover the last six or seven months no less than 12-15 times. We enjoy the shopping in the Bellingham area. This time however I was a bit annoyed. While I was checking in another party walked up to the check-in and they were a party of three and they wanted a room with two queen beds. They got what they wanted and […] were directed to a room on the fourth floor. I had asked for a room on the third or fourth floor prior to them being served but due to the clerk "Tami" dilly and dallying I obviously missed out because we were given an option of the second floor with a room very close to the freeway or the first floor at the entrance to the hotel. Naturally I wasn't pleased and I think that cutomers who book via Hotels.com, expedia or whatever get the second best option when it comes to room selection. I firmly believe the hotel gives their direct customers preference. I suppose I could have complained and caused a fuss but instead I chose to say nothing but do something and that something might well be to discard this hotel as a choice of preference. 더 보기

I needed a place to stay before taking certification exam, this was the perfect place to get a good nights rest and have a quiet comfortable room to study the night before taking the test. Restaurant food was good quality and service was excellent.

Needs a new chef.......

Bed was great, room was quiet, staff for the most part very helpful, but food needed some improvement and internet was slow......very slow.

Very clean and comfortable...great for families too. Value is top notch...only minor drawback is if your room faces I-5...a bit of traffic noise. Otherwise, recommend it!

Room was nice but no view. room doors are not sealed well so it was very noisy.

Nice hotel and the staff was very accommodating. The food in the restaurants was good and reasonable.

Comfy stay, close to everything. Good value for the price. Loved the indoor pool, but we have a small child. If you dont like kids or a little noise, then you dont want to stay here. nice, clean property, good service, great pool/hot tub and the cafe was great for breakfast and coffee. not a destination hotel but a great place to stay for the price. Put my family up here while they were visiting for a week and it was the perfect choice.

The hotel is right off the freeway and backs up to a huge Fred Meyer/strip mall. So--not a beautiful location, but convenient to downtown and WWU. They don't provide a free breakfast, which gives you the opportunity to try one of the very good breakfast spots in town. The in-room coffee was pretty bad. The room was very quiet, probably because our view […] was of the roof & skylight. The hallway smells a bit of chlorine from the pool below, but it didn't seep into the room at all. Nothing fancy but perfectly acceptable. Location is good if you have a car. Hotel provides plenty of parking.

We were amazed at the high quality of service we received at this hotel. From the front desk to the staff at the cafe, everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The indoor pool was great too, with a nice 2 foot kiddie pool as well as a deeper one for my older kids. Room was spotless and comfortable.

I flew to Bellingham for a wedding for my niece. I booked 3 rooms to accomodate 2 other sisters and my elderly mom. The accomodations were great and they honored all of my requests for my handicapped mom and my sister with fibromialgia. My youngest sister, whom is hard to please, LOVED the accommodations and we all couldn't be happier. Even the waitress […] at the restaurant was impressive with her service and her people skills. The maid service only failed, one of four times to provide us with clean washcloths and a box of kleenex, which was quickly rectified when I contacted the front desk. The indoor swimming pool is not enclosed so the noise travels a long ways down the hallways. I was quite a long distance from the pool but still could hear it inside of my room. The hotel also does not offer a free continental breakfast which is something that is nearly standard at other hotels. The check in was fast and flawless, the room was immaculate, the bed very comfortable, and the staff very professional. When I pass back through Bellingham I will stay here again!

This hotel is super convenient to the freeway, a sports center up the street that has an indoor pool and skating rink, and butts up to a Fred Meyer strip mall with a Starbucks inside. Its indoor pool, wading pool and hot tub is OK for smaller kids, but not much for teenagers. The big issue was the air conditioner. The location of the hotel is awesome if you plan to shop at the mall and outlets, it's a perfect location.. Pretty good continental breakfast too! Staff ok, not too welcoming. Should have people that are outgoing at front desk. Our room was excellent! However, non-smoking rooms should be on non- smoking floor as it travels and I am sure people previously […] smoked in our room. Easy to get away with it, when it's on the same floor. I've stayed at several hotels in Bham and this one is by far my favorite. The pillows and bed are super comfy. The rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious. The refridgerator is an added bonus. Some rooms have microwaves, too. The fitness room is lame. Super small and only has cardio machines and free weights, with the lightest being 8 pounds. 8 pounds!?! […] As a woman, that is not light enough. Where are the 3, 4, and 5 pound weights!?! There is an interior pool on the first floor. The smell of chlorine is quite strong on the 1st floor, but I stayed on the top level and couldn't smell it at all. All in all, great place to stay, just don't expect much from the fitness room. 더 보기

The hotel was a a nice surprise , as it exceeded our expectations for the price. The hotel bar and restaurant also exceeded expectations. The only frustration was dealing with Hotel.com. Perhaps booking directly with the hotel would be the best option.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED. GREAT FOOD, THOUGH PRICY. HUGH INDOOR ATRIUM WITH LARGE POOL, WADING POOL, HOT TUB AND SEPERATE SAUNAS. GYM DECENT FOR BW, BUT COULD USE SOME NEW MACHINES, ALTHOUGH WHAT THEY HAD WILL WORK.

We went to this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday . What a nice reception we received when we got there . The front desk attendant insisted on giving my two kids a room key (made them feel like adults ) . When I went down to the front desk later on to ask for restaurant recommendations not only did I get recommendations they also printed out a paper […] copy of how to get there(how cool is that !) My wife and family had a awesome weekend / birthday celebration and we will defiantly be coming back for another stay ! 더 보기

Overall experience of this hotel was a good one. Note, if you plan on using the hotel shuttle to get to and from the airport, prepare to be disappointed. The ride down was great, driver was friendly and professional. We mentioned to him that our return flight was landing at 10:45pm on the Monday. He gave us a business card and so NO problem we will […] be able to pick you up. Just give us a call. NOT the case when we returned. Landed at 10:30 and called the hotel at 10:35. Spoke with the front desk and asked if the shuttle service would come and pick us up. He informed us that there is NO service after 10:30. We were now at approx 10:38. I informed him that we were told we would be picked up. The gentleman I was talking with informed me that the service closed at 10:30 and they would not be able to help! WOW I will not be staying at this location again, if my intent is to use the shuttle service. A 25.00 dollar cab ride back to collect our car that evening. I will stay closer to the airport on my next stay as well as confirm shuttle service times prior to booking. Very disappointing that we received two different sets of information regarding the shuttle service, from ONE property. 더 보기

Hotel is pleasant, clean with a good location. The price is a little on the high side for a Best Western Chain hotel.

I would hesitate to recommend this hotel, based solely on the indoor pool location. If your kids are with you, you'll love it! There is a great indoor pool area, however it is not cordoned off at all from the hallways and rooms.It is in the center court of the hotel. No matter where your room is located you cannot escape the noisy pool activity: whether […] you are in the halls, or in your room. This hotel was comfortable, but not walking distance to anything interesting. It was the only hotel with an indoor pool which is why we stayed there. I thiught the price was a bit high, especially considering breakfast wasn't included. It's fine for a night or two to get away or visit people in the area, but not for a vacation.

BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN HOTEL CLOSE TO FREEWAY, EASY TO GET TO AND PERFECT PLACE TO UNWIND AFTER A DAY OF SKIING ON MT. BAKER.

Very nice facility, room was quiet. The cafe offered good food and was not busy. Sunday Brunch was very good. There is a large grocery/department store next door for anything extra. There was no refrigerator in the room or microwave. Maybe if the hotel offers their own food, they don't want you bringing any in. We would definitely stay there again.
