The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and conveniently located near the beach. The housingkeeping staff was thorough and attentive. We had a very pleasant stay.

nice hotel alittle pricey, but the breakfast made up for part of the price.

Much nicer than I had anticipated. Great breakfast and hot coffee available all day. We will stay again when in the area.

Clean, as you would expect from this chain. Nice breakfast assortment.

but away from the rush hour traffic once you get to it. Nice place to stay. Breakfast OK.

A bit noisy when kids run through the halls or play in the pool. Otherwise, great stay!

Hotel has nice laundry facilities and spacious rooms. Close to beach and shopping. Also close to Santa Barbara. Only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool room properly and had to request more towels even though our reservation was for 4 people.

The only area that I think they could improve on is to extend the breakfast hours on the weekend. Also, most of the breakfast items were poor quality. However, overall the superior service and down-to-earth nice as can be staff made up for that. I've never been to a hotel where I was made to feel so much at home. Great job!

The hotel looked nice, front desk was helpful and the location was okay. I really feel it was way overpriced for where it is located. The beds were hard and the bathroom floor was sticky, ewwww! There were plenty of nice towels and the toiletry amenities were nice and smelled wonderful. Free wi-fi but that's standard now.

My husband and I took the 3 grand kids for a short weekend to the coast. We found our room very comfortable clean and close to the heated pool and jacuzzi which we all enjoyed. The breakfast in the morning was a full breakfast not just a continental breakfast. With kids it is nice for them to have a quality breakfast not just sugar and carbs. Reservation gave me a handicap room by mistake, maintanace was poor ( light s out in lobby business area I could hardly see the computer screen to work on it at night, asked for a bandaid the first aid kit at the front desk was out, the room had opened candy package on the bed with bail bond advertizment , iron and ironing board not put away when I […] first walked in). The fire exit maps on the rooms fail to give the room location (is that out of code, seems it should be). very good condition, cleanliness and comfort. Spacious room. Good place for a reasonably priced overnight stay. Pet friendly. would stay again for sure.

I like the place. Carpet in the walking area need cleaning. The room were clean. Receptionists were friendly. Overall is a nice place to stay.

The staff was AMAZING!!! Very friendly and accommodating. Anything we needed and they were on top of it immediately. They were friendly and had amazing service. The breakfast was the best!!! Great continental breakfast, I think that was my favorite part 

Everything was fine until they started testing the fire alarm without any warning. It scared the HELL out of both myself & my wife who was sleeping. They did this three times, and when I called the front desk about it they were rude and hung up on me. While everything else was fine, I will never stay there again.

Great price and comfortable room. Close to the beach. We will stay again.

The room was fantastic. Friendly staff, great location, near the beach and main street of Carpinteria. Only thing was I thought i had paid for a Suite, but it seemed like I got a slightly bigger than average room. Good breakfast, quiet atmosphere, pleasant rooms and comfortable beds, available WiFi at no cost. We'll stay again and again and recommend highly.

I have no real complaints other than the rooms on the freeway side are so close to traffic that there is no way to ignore the noise... book your room on the opposite side of the buildings....

Hotel is close to Santa Barbara. We reserved 2rooms. Ours was clean but the bathroom in the other room had not been cleaned. Also, the room was called a suite, but to me at least it was not a suite. It was one room with 2queen beds and a chair.

We stayed here on our way thru CA and it was pleasant. Nothing fancy, but nothing dirty. It was nice.

reception staff could have been more friendly

I liked the access to beach. Restaurants were nice, too. Hotel room was cozy, clean, and comfortable.

We've stayed there many times and will continue to do so in the future.

Our stay was great. Terrific value, the place smelled really good, the rooms were quiet, the beds were comfortable, and you get all those little things--shampoo, conditioner, coffee, etc.--that you should expect at hotels, but don't always get them! Before I went there, I read a review saying that their carpets were old/ needed replacing, so I paid […] special attention to it. I don't think it was bad at all. We came late after 8:00 and got a choice for a room that was quiet and the beds very very cozy. Great stay!

Very nice. Large, clean, all the amenities. A little freeway noise for rooms on the freeway side.

Nice, clean hotel. Nothing fancy, no frills. Staff seemed pretty inexperienced, but no major problems. Moderate price for moderate quality!

This was a very very nice place to stay in every respect.

This hotel was a total disappointment. The best part was the head of housekkeeping was really friendly and you could tell she ran a tight ship. THe carpet in the hallway was disgusting and needed replacing. I stayed on the first floor. The front desk people were so so and when I asked if they had a phone number for Sly's Restaurant in Carp they replied […] we do not have internet at the front desk to look anything up. The desk clerk used her cell phone to help me. How can a business not have internet at the front desk to help customers. The water was not real hot either. I would not recommend it. The muffins and the eggs at breakfast were gross. It seemed pld and tired. 더 보기

We chose this hotel as it represented better value for money than hotels directly in S Barbara, but was only a 10 min drive away. The hotel was good, free breakfast was more than adequate and the swimming pool (although we didn't use it) looked nice. Overall, I would use the hotel again.

Very nice location, rooms are open and include some nice extras like a microwave, small refrig/freezer unit, and a BIG flat screen TV with at least 75 channels available. Hotel itself is in very good condition, grounds are lovely, breakfast was very good. People are friendly, too! A very good choice for the area!
