"Thumbs up"
We stayed here for 2 nights and i had no problems at all, the room was clean, and hotel staff very friendly and helpful, when i asked them questions about the local area.
"Wake Up Call"
Dear Sir or Madam: The most serious and only complaint I have about my stay relates to a wake up call request. On Sunday night I programmed my room phone to wake me up at 5:00 A.M. However, when setting the phone I noticed that the room number on the phone was 300, not 301 the room I was staying in. I called the front desk and called this observation […] to the attention of the service staff. She indicated without certainty that "maybe" the phone had been moved from room 300 across the hall. I asked her why, and she had no answer. I then asked her to set a wake up call for me in room 301 just in case the wake up call set on my phone went to room 300 across the hall. The time was set for 5:00 A.M., and I again confirmed the wake up call was in fact set for 5:00 A. M. for room 301. She said yes, 5:00 A. M. I regret to tell you that I awakened on my own at 5:30 A. M. the next morning without receiving a wake up call. THE WAKE UP CALL CAME AT 5:31 A. M. at which time I got dressed as quickly as I could, had a pointless discussion with the service person on the front desk, and was very, very late for MY 6:00 A. M. fishing charter on Lake Erie where the Captain had to hold the boat at dock for 30 minutes! It is my intent to share this situation via letter with Holiday Inn, Inc. 더 보기

Stayed while visiting Cedar Point. Good breakfast, about 20 minute drive from park. Staff was friendly and made sure breakfast foods were stocked. Overall a pleasant experience. Pool was warm. Only negative...not a lot of dining options in immediate area.

Great locale for where we were going, Put-In-Bay & Middle Bass Islands. Both the ferries (Jet Express and Miller Boatline) were ten to fifteen minutes from the hotel. That was a great perk for us after a hot busy day, and only five minutes from a beautiful great winery / restaurant we enjoyed as well, and our hotel key got us a 10% discount.. good deal! This hotel was better than most in the area and convenient to dining and entertainment. The hotel staff was VERY helpful and friendly. The pool area was clean for the most part. The room was fairly clean and beds could have been a little more comfortable. For the price and the area, I would stay again.
"Hotel in Port Clinton - Good location, good deal"
The Hotel was clean and fresh. The breakfast was very good. The location was very convenient for visiting the surrounding sights. The beds weren't particularly comfortable, but the room itself was clean, modern and had plenty of space. I would definately reccommend this hotel if you're traveling to the Port Clinton area.

My family and I stayed here after a day at the beach. Th staff was extremely friendly, rooms clean and comfortable and great extras like breakfast. By far, the nicest place I've found in the area.

Close to Lake Erie, birds and the islands. Convenient to dining and wineries. Nice place to stay. Beautiful views and comfortable beds. We have stayed here before. Plug in bath did not work and coffee pot was very dusty were the only drawbacks.

I was disappointed with the room condition and its odor. I had to go to Wal-Mart to purchase air freshner. Pillows were of low quality and pillow cases were old.

This hotel is the progress of some updating, the room smelled of fresh paint, hopefully it will get new beds soon. "Port Clinton, Ohio Holiday Inn Express"
Super staff! Very clean. Allowed us late check in and out the next day at no charge. Breakfast buffet is wonderful-especially traveling with 5 kids. Definitely will stay there again.

we had a great nights rest. the pool was wonderful, with a shallow end, that gradually went down. the hot tub was great too. the room was clean, and it had a microwave and fridge already in it. the breakfast was really good as well. we will be staying there again for sure!

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of the proximity to Cedar Point and the indoor pool. When we arrived the pool was closed, granted because of a chemical imbalance, but the kids were disappointed they couldn't swim. It was about a half hour drive to Cedar Point, which we went one day. Then the day of check out we did go to Marblehead […] Lighthouse. So the convenience to area attractions was an advantage. If we had stayed longer, we would have headed over to Put-in-Bay for a day trip. The hotel did provide plenty of towels on request as well as a roll-away bed. The breakfast was very good. Would use again if in the area. Room clean and the bed were comfortable. Had 2 light bulbs out but we waited to inform them at checkout and just switched a couple around. Hotel directions were right on and easy to find. Would recommend the winery that is about a 1/4 mile down from the hotel as a great place to have dinner.
"One of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed in"
The public areas of this hotel were hot and muggy. There was mildew/mold on the shower walls and hair in the drain when we arrived (and still there when we left!). The coffee pot was dirty and still had grounds in it from a previous guest and the pool was dirty. I have nothing good to say about this hotel other than it was close to the activities that […] we were doing that weekend. I would never stay there again and could not, in good conscious recommend it to anyone else. I sent a complaint to Holiday Inn and if I don't get a response from them to address this issue, I won't be staying in Holiday Inns again -- this visit was that bad! 더 보기

There was light fixture with no light bulb and bulb in the floor lamp was burned out. The TV is an older model and the picture was in black & white until they came and fixed it. The Cross Winds has specialty pizzas and much more and is a nice sports bar that caters to families as well. Diana's has excellent food and sometimes long waiting lines to be seated.
