The location was very convenient. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again.

Our room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was great. There was a large selection of hot and cold items, coffee and juices. The hotel was close to The USS Lexington and only a 20-25 minute drive to Port Aransas. A real value for the money.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really good. The breakfast lady was very nice as well. The hot tub was GREAT and the pool was very relaxing. The only thing I have to say is that the bed that I was in looked like someone had laid in it before and it was just made up. Staff was ridiculously helpful. Nice Breakfast. Comfy rooms w/ nice size Refrigerator. Wish Restaurants were closer as well as beach. Not much parking.

Stayed at Hampton Inn, Portland for a long weekend to see family. The hotel was very clean and all of the staff was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was good, and they kept the buffet well stocked all the way up to 10 a.m. The room had a definite odor of cleaning solution, but it was only noticeable upon entering the room. I loved that it was near stores and Church!

We enjoyed our stay, however I was looking forward to a nice hot breakfast according to the other reviews and was sorely let down. The air conditioner was out in the lobby, so I'm sure that is partly the cause of the lack of breakfast. They only had water and fruit. Stayed at this hotel for one night after reading positive reviews. The room was very big, there were comfortable beds and flat screen TV. We had omelets and waffles for breakfast - was all right. All in all - we weren't disappointed.

All the attractions we wanted to visit, (USS Lexington, Aquarium, Museum, beach) were minutes away. Room was very clean and comfortable. Internet was a little slow but easy to access. Breakfast was very good. Freshly cooked eggs with ham and regular eggs the next day were good. Coffee was perfect and overall everything else was too. nice hotel clean room close to surrounding areas ex; Port Aransas Rockport CorpusChristi. hot breakfast was really good will stay there again.

It was a quick trip to Ingelside to visit family so we only stayed one night. Hotel was nice, check-in was easy, and the breakfast buffet was nice as well.

Having the convenience of a frid/microwave/coffee maker in the rooms was very good for my family & kids. Con: The breakfast dining area was too small to handle the guests specially on a Memorial Weekend. Would probably be good on non-holiday weekends.

We planned a spontaneous trip in order to attend the SandFest and of course needed to stay close. I came upon this site of available rooms. I ended up with the nicest and most helpful booking agent named Diane. She helped us find a room close to where we wanted to be. It turned out to be the Hampton Inn in Portland off of Hwy 35. Not being from the […] area and having two children, we were concerned about the different areas in Corpus Christi. It turned out to be an EXTREMELY nice area and well within a 20min. drive to the SandFest. The Hampton Inn was ALOT more than we could have asked for. The room was beautiful and had everything we could have ever asked for. It wasn't lacking anything. There was also a workout room, pool/spa, & business room with two computers and printers for if you needed to do any work(or in our case - school) stuff while you were there. The best part was the complimentary breakfast! Scrambled eggs, waffles(you get to make-FUN!!!) the kids loved that too, danishes, cereal/milk, oatmeal, & all kinds of coffee as well as OJ & hot chocolate(which the kids loved)! a nice modern hotel in a convenient roadside location. Very attentive staff made this an enjoyable stay. The room was clean and well equipped and the small touches made the difference like the complimentary evening drinks and the breakfast

Picking a hotel is not easy in my household. My wife has a stronger fobia about germs than others and this hotel was comfortable from the overall look of new to cleanliness of the room. I feel real comfortable to choose this hotel at this location again.

por favor remodelen los banos que el que a mi me toco estaba en muy mal aspecto habitacion 202 la tina estaba toda descarapelada las paredes cuartiadas (aclarando no me refiero a le limpieza si no al aspecto) gracias por tomarnos en cuenta.
