Im going to start with the cons first. Yes like some of the other reviews the room was well used. The pool was on the small side and the guest laundry was very scary!!! We got bus passes for the first day but walked the other two days becasue it was pretty close. Now the pros. The maid service was awesome!!!! They came in everyday after we left and […] cleaned the room. They even made my daughters playpen! By far the best maid service we've ever had. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms had enough space for all of us and lots of places to put bags out of the way. We stayed in the Kid Suite and it was the best. It was very clean. The pool area had towels so we didn't have to take are own. We LOVED IT. :)

Hotel was very nice place to stay. It did not get a great review because it is missing a continental breakfast.

For our large family, the room was spacious. However, I would have preferred a larger bathroom space. Also, I was told there was a double stroller I could rent, and when I got there was notified they did not have it. We recently stayed at the Portofino Inn while taking our twin boys to Disneyland. We chose the kids suite because it would give both of our boys their own bed. The beds were all very comfortable and the beds seemed rather new. I had previously stayed in a kid's suite at the Hyatt and the beds there were definitely not as comfortable. The hotel however […] is a little loud. You could hear anyone's conversation as they walked down the hall. That being said I have yet to find a hotel where this does not happen. The walk to Disneyland was short and even my 4 year olds made it fine even after a long day of walking. My one complaint about the room would be that my boys had to walk through where I was sleeping with my husband to use the bathroom and the water running in the bathroom was fairly loud. It would of also been nice to have a functioning set of curtains to keep the kids from peaking into the area my husband and I were in. The doors that closed off their area were sheer. Although not the newest hotel, it was well kept up and did NOT charge for parking. Trust me this is a real plus close to the Happiest Place on Earth. The little store had a good assortment at non premium prices. It was quiet, after the fireworks that is.

Excellent value!

We stayed in the kids suite with 4 kids and there is plenty of room and not that far of a walk to Disneyland. The set up is good the property overall is good but the rooms are tired. Hotel was in a good location. It was clean but in need of renovation. Get a top floor if possible as we could hear step of the neighbor upstairs. I would recommend the kids suite - very spacious - if you can get a good deal. Also beware that the hotel has hidden 'service charges' that add an additional 10% (it was lumped in with the tax)

Everything about the hotel was great. My only complaint is that the bed was uncomfortable.

The location, price and amenities of this hotel were great. I love the "kid's suite" as we could shut the door and have our own privacy while our daughter slept. The location was close to the The Garden (I may have the name wrong) down the street with plenty of places to eat. The rooms are very old and not at all as pictured (carpeting, bedspreads all very old and dingy). The room was really dark (the in-house lighting was awful), even with the windows open. The worst was the noise. We noticed when we laid down in bed at night that there was this noise every 3-5 mins that sounded like someone upstairs was vacuuming the carpet and at points it got so bad, it sounded like the carpet was stuck in the vacuum. This went on all night long and with ear plugs and two pillows over my head, it still kept me awake all night. We were about 5-6 rooms down from the elevator but my husband said the next morning as he rode it that the sound coming from the elevator was very similar to the sound we heard all night. The rooms are also not insulated well so when all of the families came back late from Disneyland you could hear kids and people going up and down the hall laughing and chatting as clear as day. I also encountered a very large brown spider running across the bathroom floor and onto the old pine green carpet (where my eyes lost sight of it) when I got out of the shower the next morning. We recently stayed two nights at the Portofino Inn while we visted Disneyland. The hotel itself was pretty decent. We rented the Kid Suite with an additional area for the kids. After a full day at Disneyland, we were ready to settle into our room for the first night. The room itself was spacious, and had lots of room for our 2 older boys and the toddler […] to play around in. Overall the hotel staff was friendly, but attention to detail was not a strong trait amongst the staff. First, I had to ask 2 days in a row to have a crib delivered to our room. The first night was rather late, but we were promised it would be sent right up. However, they did get it right after again asking them about the crib before departing to Disneyland the second day. When we returned the crib was in our room. Room service was not very thorough, and not only left trash in our room, but did not bother to restock the toilet paper rolls which were both empty (thankfully we had brought a roll with us for the long road trip!). I had to point out to room service, call the guest service desk, and wait about a half an hour for the room service to take care of a major spill both inside and outside the elevator. The floor was very slippery, and especially with bags, and other items in hand. Overall, the Portofino Inn wasn't a bad stay, but I would have to get a pretty good room rate to consider staying there on another trip. Also, I would be careful about using the pizza joint on the back of the room cards. We thought it would be quick and tasty. It took us over an hour and a half to get our food correctly, and had to refuse burnt pizza. 더 보기

Our room was a Kid's Suite. The room itself was fine BUT it was located right by an elevator. Therefore, it was extremely loud. Also, it is to be expected to hear footsteps above but when people walked above us, the ceiling creaked so loud it woke us up. I was a little nervous the ceiling was going to come down. Our sheets to our King size bed didn't fight tight at all, leaving us pulling the sheets back over the mattress over and over again. There were no towels at the pool. This hotel was a great value for my wife and I while vacationing in the Disneyland area. The hotel has a bit of wear due to old age. However, the staff does a great job of keeping it clean. Most packages I saw included free parking and free internet. If you are staying in one of the suites, they are equipped with a small microwave and fridge. Very easy to get to Disneyland And a nice family hotel Staff were helpful also

Great location, a 10 minute walk to Disneyland with decent eateries nearby. We selected the room with the kid's suite, and overall it was nice. The room was clean and the staff was excellent. The hotel overall is in need of updating (as are all the hotels near Disney), and be aware that the picture of the room is deceptively bright and updated compared […] to reality. Overall though it was a good experience and we will be staying there again for our trip next year. Location is perfect with reasonable rate. But need to renew the furnishing. Got to experience power outage for almost 2-3 hr and no words from the management. But overall positive experience and enjoyable for my kids at a budget.

For the price we could have gone Sherraton! I definately think its worth the extra $20. We stayed here due to our companions' budget... And it was okay. Their staff was really nice! We are a family of 3. And overall cleanliness was a 2 the bag in the trash can wasn't fully on.. and when I went to fix it, there was trash, a q-tip, and sticky brown stuff […] on the bottom of the trash can... It was quite disgusting. An upside was the bed. It was really comfortable. The location of the hotel made it really conveinent for us to go to Disneyland. It was a 15-20 min walk from the hotel to the gates. Literally down the street... Another thing you can do is walk accross the street and take the free parking shuttle from the parking lot to the park. That was the best thing about the hotel. We booked through Hotels.com and received a great room rate. The location is a short walk from Disneyland, I-Hop is across the street or a little longer walk on Katela Ave will take you to The Cheesecake Factory which serves a great breakfast at very reasonable prices. This is not the 1st time we stayed in the Disneyland area. With the price we paid, we expected a bit more, especially after the holiday. For anyone planning a trip to Disnryland in Anaheim California, I would recommend staying at Portofino Inn. Their rooms were very comfortable and we traveled with a big group and the hotel staff made sure all of our needs were met plus it is like a block away from the park gates and shuttle services drops you off right in front.PERFECT!!!!!

Yes, Disney is within walking distance, but if you have kids or older folks with you, you may want to grab the bus instead. It's really cheap for an all-day pass, and worth it if you have up to 4 people in your party, since all Disney parking requires a shuttle to get to the park, too. Stayed here because we are a family of 6, they had kids suites, were within walking distance to Disneyland, and we got a great rate... Hotel itself is a bit worn, light fixtures were all loose (almost to the point of falling off), carpet was buckled and furniture was a bit worn. Bunk bed was sturdy, and housekeeping was responsive when requesting extra […] pillows, also maintenance was responsive when the toilet stopped up. Room was clean. Biggest complaint was mentioned several times... the a/c unit was LOUD (think jet engine!). We kept the thermostat low during the day and slept with it OFF at night... We've stayed in numerous hotels ib Anaheim and this one is hands down the best. It was incredibly quiet, very comfortable ans clean, ans the staff was friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location to Disneyland, only real issue was parking...probably due to it being NYE holiday.

Although we did not do much sight seeing while in Aneheim, we found that our selection of booking the Hotel Portofino was right for us. The staff at the hotel was very accommodating. Our needs were met. Thank you for providing such quality service.

Our party of 6 stayed in the room with the bunk beds and the pull out couch and we had more than enough room. There is one bathroom and another sink/vanity outside of the bathroom which made getting ready in the morning easy with the large group. The only area that could be improved would be to offer complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland. The […] charge is $4 per adult and $1 per child. My multi-handicapped adult son, my adult daughter and her 10 year old son and myself stayed at the Anaheim Portofino Inn and Suites. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. It was close to Disneyland and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend this hotel.

Needs new bed covers - staff was very accomodating - rooms adaquate for family - though was price for quality of the room - and furnishing conditions
