It was a pleasant experience. 3 minutes walk toTimes Square, but perfectly quiet. The elevator always waiting for you at ground floor whenever back from hanging around. Definitely a good choice for a short stay in the big apple. Valet parking as a valuable option

We had a wonderful time in New York and The Muse was a big part of our enjoyable experience. The location was great, our room looked exactly like the picture. The staff treated us like friends. We'll be back!

Very happy with our stay. Reasonably quiet given the busy neighborhood. Had a king suite. 2 teenagers shared the pullout sofa in the adjoining room. Hvac very noisy.

This hotel had great location and excellent service. The rooms were extremely quiet and much bigger than I expected (for a hotel in Times Square). They held my bags for me after check out and called a car for me to take to the airport. I will definitely stay here again! Great Kimpton "boutique" hotel.

The service we received at the curb was rude. Later, when trying to retrieve our luggage, a hotel worker left our bags on a cart in the middle of the lobby and walked away. Otherwise, the hotel was fantastic, clean and very trendy. The person checking us in was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Stayed at the Muse for my wife's birthday and had a great time! The front desk (Marc and Melissa) went above and beyond helping making the experience even better for the both of us. The room was very comfortable and clean. I love how their attention to detail with little stand up "Reminder" cards. This hotel is right near Times Square and couldn't be more convenient. It was much more reasonably priced than some of the other hotels. Very clean, comfortable, nice staff.... and free wine from 5:00-6:00. I would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times for business and I am a devoted JDV hotel customer, However I am worried this hotel is falling into the rut of many NYC Times Square hotels that can let service and property condition slide because they will always be able to fill rooms due to their location. This will be a shame if that is what happens to […] this hotel. Upon check in I as put into a room that had a very dirty bathroom. Hair in the sink, dirt on floor and on the picture across from the toilet numerous suspicious looking splatter marks. :( The room itself was looking a little worse for the wear. Hotels in high traffic locations such as NYC need to budget for more frequent room maintenance and linen replacement. The bathroom grout had mold in it and in general the room didn't smell very fresh. I went immediately to the front desk and told them my concerns. The front desk agent picked up the phone and called housekeeping to ask them to reclean the room while I was standing there waiting. She had to convince housekeeping to do this. She hung up the phone and said that they would be up in a bit to reclean the room. I said that I didn't want to wait for the room to be recleaned and would like a new room. She accomodated this right away and got me into a new room. The new room was clean and in much better condition. Hoping that my experience was a freak of nature and that in future stays I will find the same consistency I am used to at JDV properties. 더 보기

The hotel was decorated with excellent taste and very clean. The staff was very nice and even the maintenance people were courteous.

The hotel was walking distance to times square and various restaraunts. The hotel was very clean and the staff was polite/helpful.

The Muse was a perfect hotel for a long NYC weekend. The location was great - between time square and 5th Avenue shopping. The room was large, with a nice separate seating area and free wifi. The staff was friendly and personable, and made us aware of area construction before check-in. Highly recommended!

Everyone at the Muse Hotel was uber nice! You were welcome from the first door being opened until your final checkout. It was astonishing how polite everyone was. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. I was only there for one night but it is a PERFECT location, steps away from Times Sq and 5th Ave. I felt very safe (a woman travelling alone) with all the doormen politely greeting me as I came and went. The hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. Very clean and comfortable. The service by the front desk, concierge, bellman and doorman were excellent. Nice to have coffee in the morning and hot chocolate in the afternoon. Great times square location. Convenient to theater and restaurants.

First time taking my kids to NYC and had a great visit. . . The Muse boasts a great location and so convenient to many famous sites a first timer wants to see . . . it is a little ride to SOHO, Little Italy and Chinatown from here . . . all theatres, stores and super delicious brasseries and delis to upscale restaurants are within a short walk . . .love […] the wine reception at 5:00 p.m. and coffee/tea every morning. This location is right in the middle of Times Square, but quiet. We were 2 blocks away from our plays and directly between Times Square and 6th Avenue. Simply perfect. Well worth the money.

I have traveled extensivly for business and pleasure for over 40 years and the accommodations were exceptional, as was the service and support staff. There is no question that the Muse is the place to stay in NYC.

This was our 5th trip to the Muse. Historically, the staff was great and the service was wonderful. Even though we booked our rooms online, they charged a 300 incidentals fee. The staff barely spoke english and when i asked to speak with a manager she came out and was not nice at all. They were not helpful would not allow me to check into my room even […] 30 minutes early and really didn't care about me as a customer. She said she upgraded our room but forgot to mention there was construction on the building which started everyday at 7am and ran until 6 one night....it was so loud I could not take a conference call. Needless to say, I usually stay at the W but thought the Muse was a good deal. We won't be staying at the Muse anymore. 더 보기

This is a GREAT hotel. Very friendly, helpful, fun staff, nice decor (themed after the Greek muses, as the name suggests), good coffee and wine. I don't love Times Square, but it is a very central location for getting to most other parts of Manhattan. Great midtown location, close to theaters, shopping and lots of good restaurants. The hotel does a wonderful job of combining cozy, edgy and chic. This was the perfect place to stay for my 15y old daughter and I for our 1st visit to New York (1 week stay). It was located in a great spot just 1/2 block from Times Square and a short walk to Radio City, Rockefeller Center and the Metro. The size of the room was surprisingly spacious (2 double beds) compared to other hotels I had looked at on-line. […] Also very clean and quiet. Don't expect a view from your room at this hotel. Windows are small and high up so you can't see out very well. Disappointing. Food in attached restraunt for breakfast was good. Convenient to timnes square action but street is crummy and a little scary at night.

We were heading up for a getaway weekend and The Muse met the bill. Initially we hesistated, the TIme Square area was pretty congested and can be overwhelming (fun too!), but the hotel is a few blocks off the main drag and that gave it a buffer. The location is KEY, so central; we headed south to Soho, Union Square and north to Upper East for the Guggenheim, […] all easily accessible by the train or walking a few blocks to catch a cab going in the right direction. Weekend front desk Marc, was amazingly patient, made great suggestions on all sorts of things, including a fun brunch spot near NYU, The Strand (books!) and a market. A half-block from Times Square yet somehow not on a busy street. In other words the best location for a tourist in NYC! Close to shows & any food you could possibly want. The staff deserves 6 stars! The hotel was nice, great location, great bed and pillows. The room size was big in comparison to New York hotels. A couple of things I didn't like: Towels were hard to get, one day they cleaned our room, took our towels, but didn't give us towels, we only received two towels at a time. We ordered breakfast in our room, but never received another […] ordering form to have breakfast a 2nd day. I signed up for the Internet because of the cost 13.00 received a customer number but never got in the Internet. One day we didn't have hot water. With this said, I would still stay there again. I know better about the towels, I will ask for more in advance as well as another form for breakfast. 더 보기

This is a comfortable, upscale hotel in a great location. The room was nice but did not warm up on a chilly evening. The attached bar/restaurant is pretty limited.

Good hotel close to Times Square. You can stay some place cheaper but not as nice. The rooms were nice but the restaurant was just ok. Food not spectacular. I would stay here again.

This hotel was GREAT! Located half a block from the center of Times Square and walking distance to everything. We enjoyed our stay at the Muse Hotel. Lovely, large room with King bed; attractive. Good Bed! The 5:30 complimentary glass of wine is a nice touch. The dinner at the restaurant was good and fairly priced.

Our pre-Thanksgiving stay at The Muse was OUTSTANDING! I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our NYC trip and our stay at The Muse. We were a minutes walk from Times Square, Metro, and TKTS Discount Booth. We fit in THREE shows in a short amount of time and each theater was 10 minutes or so walk away. This is the perfect location if your NYC […] visit is focusing on doing the Broadway thing. Our room, though somewhat small was very clean and tidy. The front desk was more than helpful......helped us have Chinese delivered..Jing.....in 20 minutes!.....and held our bags after checkout until we returned later on in the day. If you can.....just walk to the Hotel from Grand Central....20 minute walk....for the special rate we got, coupled with the service, coupled with the location.....I can't think of a better deal! My family of 4 had an easy walk from Grand Central Station. Once at the hotel were so pleased to find that Times Sqaure was right at the end of the block! Our room was not 100% clean when we checked in. There was "something" in the toilet and one of the towels was dirty. Kind of a large faux pas. The hotel is average for comfort but its in an area (46th Street and 6th Avenue) that is not great to walk down at night - we got hassled for spare change and cigarettes both nights we came back from the theater. […] Price was about the only really positive aspect. 더 보기

i would HIGHLY reccommend this property to others. It was not only convenient in location, but the staff was VERY accomodating and helpful. i will always stay at this location when in New York.
