Beautiful place. Great service, staff is great. The only thing is that neighborhood is a desolate area. This part of Barbados is under developed.

Very nice Hotel, little bit too far from the beach, but if you have a car this is not a problem. Nice poolarea and gym, great food, rooms also have small kitchen wich is nice if you dont have breakfast. We loved our visit.

This hotel is in a wonderful setting, with extensive luxurious grounds and a large beautiful pool. The rooms are spacious, and in addition to the bedroom and bathroom have a large lounge area and a kitchenette, which is rather useful when one gets tired of the repetitive menu in the restaurant. However, there are several very good restaurants in the […] area, and we made use of these. Because of the isolation of the hotel it means that any journey has to be done by taxi, (expensive), or hotel bus (quite pricey). Once in the local town the Barbados buses provide very cheap transport (2 Bajan dollars) to anywhere on the island. Shopping in Speightstown and Holetown supermarkets is somewhat limited, but adequate for a limited stay. The hotel itself provides no food for sale (bread and milk could be helpful) in its little shop, but tiny packets of UHT coffee cream and sugar are provided in the rooms. The staff are by and large pleasant and helpful, especially the girls on reception. The buffet breakfast, the buffet evening meals and the barbecue nights were worth sampling, but the a la carte evening menu was poor, and the a la carte breakfast menu non-existent after the first day. Although I was promised eggs benedict for breakfast sometime over my stay, they never materialised despite repeated requests. However, it remains an ambition to return sometime in the future! 더 보기

We had a wonderful stay at the Sugar Cane Club Hotel. All the staff were wonderful and extremely attentive. The rooms comfortable and clean. The setting beautiful with monkeys running on the grass early in the morning. Since it is located off the main road and not directly on the beach we rented a car so we were independent and did not have to rely […] on the shuttle service. Also the beach the shuttle brings you too is not that great. The plus site of the location was that it was quiet and peaceful on a hill with views to the ocean. We had a fabulous time here. Excellent rooms, facilities and staff. Reasonably close to the beach with a convenient shuttle service. Wifi was down most of our stay which was slightly inconvenient. Eat at the new little restaurant overlooking the gully and hire a car if you want to see the Eastern coast. Overall, highly recommended as an alternative […] to large resorts. 더 보기

we had a great time, the place was fantastic! food and entertainment was also above expectations. the only negaitive is the spa itself is a little expensive. save the money and dont get a massage. cant say enough good stuff about the place. besides all that the staff was excellent and very freindly.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The grounds, pool and view of the nearby ocean quite beautiful. The staff and service was quite good. The hotel's beach is a short shuttle drive away, but there is currently heavy construction going on right next to it. We had not stayed at this hotel before, but chose it after many hours of looking through the various hotal offers. What attracted us was that it was a child-free hotel (this holiday was for our 25th wedding aniversary), and was not too large. In general the hotel not just met, but exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way to be helpful […] and friendly, and truly understood the meaning of service. They knew most guests by name - and what they prefered by way of drinks! The pool was rarely crowded, and plenty of space to find a sun bed - and no one down there at 6.00am to grab the best ones!!! This hotel is more for a pool-lover than beach-lover. The room was larger than anticpated with both a bedroom and sitting room area, as well as a small kitchenette and balcony. Although we were just B&B, we ended up eating there a number of nights, as the other guests were delightful, and made for good company. The food is good, although the menu is a little restrictive. Value for money was excellent, and the wine list adequate and not over-priced which is always a pleasure. The location is on the west coast, which is the least developed of the Caribbean sides, and far prefererable to us than the South of the island that is much more over-developped. There are some very good local restaurants to enjoy. Easy to find, just off the main highway, but totally peaceful - apart from the birds and the monkeys, but these are delighful noises. What a find an absolute gem of a hotel. The general manager Roddy and his team make this hotel like a home. The hotel was purchased by Roddy's family in 2006 and it was closed for 2 years to be refurbished, all i can say is they have done a superb job. We found the public areas, the restaurant, the pool and the rooms to be pristine. If i was going to […] fault anything the air con unit being in the bedroom is a slight inconvenience as the lounge and bathroom can get a bit warm, but I am being picky here. The food at this hotel is stunning if you go full board be prepared to put weight on, we booked Bed and breakfast and mixed between eating in the hotel restaurant and cooking in the small but adequate kitchen in the room. However be warned Barbados is not a cheap place to eat out or buy food, so half or full board could be a good economic option. The hotel grounds are lovely and we only ventured to the beach on one occasion ( the beach is about a mile away and the hotel run a courtesy bus down and back). The Hotel has a great pool area which I think could be a bit busy if the hotel is full, we had no issue and really enjoyed our time around the pool. The Sugar Cane also has a gym, squash court and Spa, all of which are well equipped and i would recommend the massages. Overall we had a fantastic time that was helped by the Sugar Cane resort, the staff and the way they looked after us. We did get a tour of the 2 bed penthouse a couple of days before we left, had we seen it earlier in the week we would have upgraded. Having stayed in 5 star resorts around the world i would happily put the Sugar Cane up against them, an absolute find and we will return. 더 보기

Hotellområdet var pent og ryddig, rom og restaurant like så. WIFI (internet) var imidlertidig veldig dårlig og til tider ute av drift. Man kunne koble opp, men kom ingen vei ut på internett. Rommene var store og bra, eget kjøkken og stort bad og stue. Soverommet like så. Ca 15 minutter å gå ned til Yacht-klubben, ca 20 minutter å gå opp. Går gratis […] shuttle fra hotell til stranda ved Yacht-klubben og til Speightstown, nærmeste tettsted. 더 보기

El hotel y la plantilla es/son muy amable/amables. Los alrededores son muy tranquilos y el ambiente te invite a "take it easy". Si lo que buscas es descanso absoluto este hotel es tu lugar!

Se não tiver interesse pelas atividades da região sul da Ilha, o Sugar Cane é uma opção agradável.

L'Hôtel est assez loin de tout bien qu'une navette gratuite permette de se rendre à la plage. Propreté impeccable, chambre confortable, personnel très attentionné et sympathique comme souvent à la Barbade. Bon restaurant et petit-déjeuner copieux. Très bon rapport qualité prix
