What is upsetting about this hotel is that no matter how many times you stay there you never get any breaks. For instance, the charge to park up front of $75. They should discount frequent stayers at least 20% or something. Another thing is that maid service shows up at 5:00 in the evening and hopes that you don't need anything from them. This hotel looked like it had not been updated since the 70's and probably not cleaned since then either!

The hotel is extremely out of date. The location is great as it is right in the middle of the hundreds of things to do in Pigeon Forge and only 6 miles from Gatlinburg, but the comfort just isn't there. The beds were totally uncomfortable and even the pillows were so lumpy my child was complaining. our stay at grand was great! the staff was friendly. the location was great. when we had a small problem with heating unit , maintenance was promptly there to fix it and we got moved to another room, unquestionable. the night clerk never turned on the indoor pool bubbles but we lived without it for an hour and half. shopping close. ducks were an added […] treat for the kids. hotel could stand some TLC but everything was great! There were renovations being done but the lobby was very beautifully decorated for the holiday's and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool looking over the lobby was very nice for the kids since it was in the 30/40's outside. The dining staff were just as friendly. The only part I think they are remodeling is the front!! The room is outdated, and the front makes it seem it is a nice hotel. Very dissapointed!!!

Appearance of hotel is nice, service at lobby and cafeteria no complaint about it, pretty good BUT the rooms!!!!! wouldnt want to stay there again!!!! just to note that we got to the hotel at 8pm tired, wanting to take warm shower n go to bed, with temperature outside in the 30's and there was no hot water service at all!!!!! There was no hot water and nobody attended to it even after we called the staff in the morning. Location is convienient , cleanliness is ok.

This hotel has not been updated in forever. Everything was dated old worn out and simply not even a minimum standard hotel. The location was convenient and that is it. Pick somewhere else.

This hotel was older, but clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The only negative aspect was that the hotel is pet friendly and dogs barking in the room next to us woke up very early every morning.

The hotel screwed up our reservations and moved us to another motel on the very south end of town. Not centrally located to much of anything. We got a free "upgrade" which meant a room with a jacuzi. Too bad that when the next door rooms used their jacuzi it sounded like it was in our room. Next time we will stay in Gatlinburg like we usually do.

I will never stay at this hotel again!

Very dissapointed when we arrived we had early check in the room was not ready.Recieved our keys to our room got all our stuff and went to the room and was given the wrong keys.The remote in the room did not work called 3 times to front desk and it was almost 8pm when it was switched.Thevanity was very wobley.The breakfast was not eatable we left and […] went and ate somewhere else..I would hope the changes in the future are better for other guest unlike our visit. 더 보기

this was our second time staying here. the room was good for price and location. the hair dryer didnt work and this stay was friday of the rod run. the parking for hotel guest was crazy. had to park away from hotel and be suttled toand from. we didnt like that cause we drove our vet. next time we will get vip parking.

parking was non existent, had to park about 1 mile away, room rate entiirely to high for quality and convience.

I was expecting alot nicer room. Room service can in only 1 time to give us clean towels. We had to take a shuttle back and forth to our car because of the parking shortage because of the car show, that wasn't so bad .

The front desk staff could use some training, since they were having issues with giving out keys to rooms which were already occupied. I was disappointed the room had two FULL size beds (instead of queens), but for 2 nights, it was OK. Room was clean, and had a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker - very convenient. The location is PERFECT - right […] off the main drag of Pigeon Forge. Walking distance to the trolley, restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Excellent restaurant in parking lot in front of the hotel. For the price, we would stay here again, but hotel could use a little updating (some fresh paint here, new bath fixtures there), but I tell you what - the bed may have been small but it was very comfortable. 더 보기

The Grand Resort is a run down older property that is in tremendous need of a repair. The air conditioner in the unit was extremely noisy, had ants in the room and the carpet and bathroom were not clean. I utilized a reward night for this property and was extremely disappointed. The first thing I saw when we walked in was the fact that the carpet was nasty and it looked like it hadn't been updated in 20+ years. Shortly after we were in our room, there was a stink bug crawling up the wall. My husband got it and put it outside. Later as I was laying in bed, on the phone, I looked up and there was a ROACH crawling on the ceiling. […] That was it, I called the front desk and they moved us to another room. This room looked nicer. It was a little more updated. So, I got in bed and the mattress was lumpy and sinking in at the top of the bed. The next morning when I was taking a shower, it took forever for the hot water to get mildly warm. As I was showering it got hotter and hotter, so I turned it down a tad, and then it was cold. I could not get it luke warm. The next day as we were sitting in our room we heard water running. The shower in the room above us had over flowed and plaster and water was all over the bath room. Once again we moved to another room. This was our last night there and that room was better. Long story short, I will never stay there again. Also, the stairwell was nasty and needed sweeping/cleaning. 더 보기

I would not stay here again It is dirty I'm not one to complain I did read the reviews before I booked and taught it can't be that bad but it is. I did see one bug crawl under the bed and the hallways was very hot. The breakfast is not free. The only thing I liked was the hot pool. I will stay somewhere else when I go back.

Hotel is old and the rooms are old. Door knob in restroom was missing, towels were stained, restroom was molded. Please do not stay here.

When we first checked in the room they put us in had a horrible odor and there were hairs left in the shower, also someone had used the toilet and it was left unflushed. We were moved to another room, which was alot cleaner. However it had strange odor to the room. I doubt my wife and I will be staying there again.

we were looking for family/pet friendly. the room was great for pet; the sheets were clean. walking distance to many shopping and amusements. pool could have been better maintained.

We just stayed there this past weekend and our room was just fine. The staff were freindly. The hotel was in a great location. Easy access to food and attractions. I would stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location, however, once entering the hotel and room proved to be a place we will not return to unless there is a tremendous renovation. Our room consisted of two double beds(very outdated) and a window unit AC which was put into the wall. The AC was VERY loud. But to top it all off, when going to bed for the evening there were […] roaches in our bed.....GROSS!!!! We made a complaint and were offered another room; I told them I was not staying here. We chose this hotel because of its location in Pigeon Forge, the river that runs behind it and because it had an outdoor pool. When we arrived, signs were posted @ the river saying it was contaminated & we couldn't fish. The hotel pool was disgusting! It had a nasty film of hair, dirt, & debris. When we talked to hotel management about it, they stated […] that the pool was cleaned every hour. They did not address the problem. The mattress in the room was in poor shape. It had two very big indentations where people have laid over and over! I would say that mattress has to be more than 10 years old! The overall quality of the motel was awful! The internet pictures and description was not at all represented when we arrived. We would not recommend anyone stay there in the future. 더 보기

when we checked in and got to our room, the beds had not been changed nor made up! Then we had to go back to the front desk given another room on the opposite side of the hotel and the room had dust around the walls about an inch thick, when the locks where engaged you could see outside!!! Never will we stay here again!!!!!!

I was very disappointed in the Grand Hotel. The pictures on the internet do not give good representation of the rooms. Our overall experience was not satisfactory and we will never stay at the Grand again.

This hotel was not a pleasant stay at all. Our hotel room was nothing like the advertisement. It was old and not well maintained. There was shampoo or body wash all over the showr. The room has fleas and when Ieft I was eat up by them. The bed was broken in the middle and the beds were very small. This is just a few of the problems. It was just dirty […] and not kept. Me and my family stayed here last weekend and we were very disappointed as soon we walked into the room . The outlets on the right side of the room did not work.. the whole room was filled with ants, they were in the bed and trails of ants crawling on the wall in the bathroom.The next day I went to iron some clothes and take the ironing bored was broke […] in half.. we asked for a blanket and pillow and an hour later we finally received it .. we only stayed one night but we will never go back 더 보기

Our stay at the Grand Resort was a very enjoyable one. The customer service was great, the room was clean and up to date and the location was perfect! I was very pleased. We also enjoyed their breakfast! We definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay again!

a couple of the rooms were on fire upon arriving to the hotel and the desk clerk was trying to check us into the same building 2 floors below where the fire dept was putting out the fire. after requesting to be placed in another area of hotel the clerk checked us into a nasty room, the air conditioner didn't work good, the shower was too small and would […] burn you with the hot water at any given moment. 더 보기
