하버 플라자 노스포인트 (Harbour Plaza North Point) - 홍콩

센트럴에서 지하철로 7정거장정도 떨어져 고민이 많았으나 구간이 짧아 대략 지하철 탑승시간은 15분 내외로 크게 불편하지는 않았습니다. 지하철C번출구 바로 앞에 위치하는점과 50m정도 거리에 트램정류장이 위치하고있어 한번 정도는 트램을 타고 센트럴로 이동을 바로 할 수 있는 점은 맘에 들었습니다. 호텔도 나름 깔끔하고 직원들도 친절해서 기분이 좋은 여행컨디션을 유지할 수 있었습니다. 아쉬운점은 View는 포기해야 한다는 점이지만 저렴한 가격에 스위트룸이 있는 방은 매력입니다. 아이가 있는 가족에게 딱인듯...^^;

위치도 위치지만 시설도 썩 훌륭하다고 볼 수는 없음.. 호텔 이름이 하버뷰이지만 하버가 보이는 객실은 극소수인 듯 함. 체크인 시 예약을 하버뷰 쪽으로 했으니 틀림없이 바닷가 쪽 방이냐고 재차 확인을 했는데도 올라갔더니 뒷 쪽 마운틴뷰 방을 줬더군요. 다시 내려가서 크게 화를 냈더니 미안하다는 얘기는 한마디도 없고 하버가 보이는 방이 거의 없다나.. 그러고는 특별히 업그레이드 된 하버뷰 방이라고 줬는데... 업그레이드는 뭔 개뿔이나... 먼저 방하고 똑같이 생긴... 대체 뭐하자는건지.. 직원들 교육이 절실함을 느꼈음.

도심 특급호텔 대비 상대적으로 저렴한 가격에 반신반의하면서 갔는데, 지하철역이 인근에 있고, 트램, 버스 정류장도 가까운 교통요지라서 접근성이 좋았음. 더구나, 바로 앞 슈퍼에는 한국 컵라면이나 음료 등도 있어 여행에서 중요한 점-입맛이 안 맞아 제대로 먹지 못하는 일-이 해결되었음. 관광을 끝내고 늦게 돌아와도 편의점 및 맥도날드가 있어 큰 불편함이 없이 지냈음. 다만, 4인 가족이 갔는데, 엑스트라베드 대신 쇼파를 변형한 임시베드를 주어서 다소 삐걱거리는 소음 등 불편이 있었으나 큰 문제는 아니었음.

제가 홍콩갔었을때는 우기였던 6월말일었는데요~ 특히 3일까지 침사추이에서 머물다가 홍콩섬 이 호텔로 옮기는 날에는 하필이면 비가 많이 내려서 걱정을 많이 하고 있었어요. 그 큰 캐리어를 들고 여자 세명이서 빗속을 뚫고가기란 ;; ㅎㅎ 암튼 지하철을 타고 가는것이 경제적인 면에서나 편리성에서나 좋을듯 싶어 우선 지하철을 타고 쿼리베이역에서 내렸는데, 호텔의 정확한 위치를 몰라서 그냥 아무출구로 나가서 택시를 타야겠다 싶었는데, C번 출구로 나오자마자 정면에 적힌 하버플라자 호텔을 발견한 순간 아 진짜 잘걸렸다.;; ㅋㅋ 그리고 드는생각은 만약 택시탔으면 어쩔뻔;;; 이건 10차선 도로에서 여기서 저기 건너편까지 가는 셈이랑 […] 똑같다는 것입니다. 다른것도 모두 마음에 들었지만, 제가 정말 기억에 남는것은 여러교통편의 접근성이 아주 좋다는것이었습니다. 더 보기

호텔이 역앞에 위치해서 이동하는데에 불편함이 없었고, 바로 앞에 웰컴 마트가 있어서 간식을 사먹는데에 좋았습니다. 호텔직원들이 영어를 잘 하지는 못하지만 친절했고, 요구사항을 잘 들어주었습니다. 하우스키퍼 아줌마들도 시간마다 다르긴 했지만 친절한 모습들이었습니다. 다만 방크기가 작아서 좀 답답한 감은 있지만 깨끗하고 친절했기때문에 감수할 수 있었습니다. 가격대비 좋았고, 다시 이용할 예정입니다.

어른2, 어린이2 이서 3박 이용했습니다. 아이엄마랑 아이들은 방에있는 침대에서 자고 저는 소파에 설치한 간이침대를 이용했습니다. 객실도 넓은 편이고 청결하게 관리되어있어 기분좋았으며 바다전망또한 좋았습니다. 단지 외곽지역이라 주변에 이용할만한 식당이 없는것이 단점이라면 단점이겠습니다. 전철역도 가깝고 트램도 바로 호텔앞으로 지나가서 편리했습니다.

홍콩에 4성급호텔은 우리나라 모텔정도 되더라구요 전반적으로 그러기 때문에 이가격에 홍콩에서 하버플라자 노스포인트는 추천할 만 합니다. 지하철역이 가까워서 어디든 가기 편했고~ 호텔직원들도 친절하시고 4박했는데 불편함 없이 다녀왔네요^^

The hotel is 1 minute away from the MTR exit (Quarry Bay, exit C) which is convenient. The room was cozy with not much space for luggages, but was adequate for the two of us. Hotel room is clean and very convenience location in North Point HK Island, is a ideal hotel and reasonable price if you wanna to stay at Hong Kong side, 8 mins by taxi to Causway Bay or you can also able to take the subway to everywhere in HK, its only take 5 mins on foot to the subway, and finally, there are many small and reasonable prices but delicious […] food shop nearby the hotel. 더 보기

We stayed 3 nights with 2 childreen (1 and 3 years old). The room with a pentry was just perfect. The airport bus stop is just 50 meters from the hotel entrance. The location was not so centralized. Far from main tourist destination. Small room - average by HK standard. Bathroom does not have vent. room doesn't have heat.

stayed 3 nights with family, good value, plenty of room which is premium for HK.Will definetly stay again. lots of good food places to eat at close by.

The family suite is decently sized but the sofa bed has very thin mattress and poor support. The kids ended up having backache. Another negative point is that the concierge is not always at the drive way when you arrived from the airport, hence you might have to help yourself with the luggage as lobby is 1 floor up. Very nice hotel. Bed was big but if you like hard beds you will like this hotel. But I believe all beds in HKG are hard !! Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay again at this hotel. Hotel was close to MTR (trains) - taxi ride to Kowloon was HKG 95.00. This hotel was a little further away from the action. recommend.

We book this hotel the final leg of our trip. To be honest, even though we had stayed in 5 stars all the way, we were sick of hotels. However, this hotel made us feel very comfortable. The hotel is very nice and it has a high standard. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. More of a classic hotel. Minus for the location although MTR is just 2min walk away and they have shuttle buses that will take you in to town. This was one of the best maintened hotels and is close to the subway stations. Ease of access and comfortable living make it highly desirable!!

The hotel lobby is not on ground floor so is it is not convenient if you bring children or baby along. The room is very spacious

The check in reception lady upgraded my room to a suite on the 32nd floor, room is spacious with kitchen and lounge, beds are big and comfortable,you can see a nice harbor view from the 32nd floor, the only let down is that you need to pay for Internet access, also the location is a bit far from areas that has more entertainment such as tst and central […] ,but its very close to the mtr tho. The stay was made comfortable by the the easy access to public transport , i.e., MTR , public buses and tram. Taxis are easily available. There were many small chinese eateries serving local delicacies which tasted good esp in the cold. Room was comfortable . Housekeeping staff were polite , so were the doormen.

We had the one bedroom family suite for our family of four. The room size is decently comfortable for a Hong Kong hotel but the sofa bed has such thin mattress and poor support that the kids complained of backache! We had great service here. We were made to feel comfortable and respected at all times. The restaurants were also good. Check in and check out is pretty slow but they lived up to all their promises except they say they have a laundromat for $5 HK a machine but later found out that it is only for permanent residents. Was a bit inconvenient to not be […] able to wash our clothes and the in service laundry was too dear. While it was not in the heart of HK action, the MRT was so close and we managed to find our way about with great ease and a bus stop and tram stop almost outside the door. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and anything ordered on the phone was promptly dealt with. Unfortunately, time didn't allow for us to use the fitness center. The hotel is a little bit away from Central but with regular and cheap taxis, it really makes sense to stay here rather than the higher rates charged in teh more central areas. Only criticism was that the beds are a little bit on the firm side!

My wife and I and 2 kids stayed stayed here In June of 2011. I was very impressed with the amount of space for a Hong Kong main island hotel. The pull out bed and dining room was idea if you have kids. It is East of the city center a ways but closer than if we had stayed Kowloon or anywhere off the main island. Good room (one bedroom suite) to stay with smaller children (4 pax can fit in well). Sofabed not that confortable but o.k. Swimming pool big, but a bit boring. Depth only 150cm. Good location right next to MTR station and airport bus (regular city bus).

Very good hotel to stay and take a rest as well. If possible. I will use again

The staff was very helpful and offered right away at the arrival a better room choice for us (4+1, ages between 9 to 66) that we had booked earlier, with quite a nice package deal. Stayed for 3 nights in May 2011. Good location (and attractive price too), very near to MTR station, tram stop, supermarket, and many eateries. Neighborhood may look bleak and run-down, but is safe. Standard city-view room is small but clean and comfortable. The bed may be quite hard for most people's liking.

I found the Harbour Plaza North Point have 3 disadvantages: - Internet access was so expensive which was 130 HK$ /day for each device ( PC or Mobile) . - Landry as well so expensive where the charge for the shirt was around 60 HK$. - The room was a bit small which was not a big issue. Rather than this it was a nice stay.

This was our second stay at Harbour Plaza - North Point and it still is our favorite. Although the Harbour Plaza - Metropolis is more grand, the North Point location is a breathe of fresh air, after a long over frenzied day. The neighbor is quiet, the grocery store is across the street and the MTR is a short block away. Extremely convienent location […] and so peaceful after a long, hurried, day. 더 보기

This was my 1st time to stay at the Harbour View in North Point. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and was good value for $. I was surprised how convenient staying in North Point is with the MTR Quarry Bay Station just across the street. It only takes 15 mins. to Central. Biggest suite I've stayed in on the HK Island for a reasonable price. I can live here for months. Despite the website's photographs, the kitchen is very complete. The housekeeping staff brings the clean kitchenware upon request (within minutes). Basic spices are not included though. the MTR subway station, and the tram stop are literally right across […] the street as are the supermarket and Cafe deCoral. I had a wonderful city-view being on the top floor of the hotel. Check-in was very efficient and polite. Check-out was a little different. The clerk at the counter handed me a checkout slip to sign, and after signing it, I realized it was a bill. I told the clerk that it was a prepaid room through Hotels.com, and she looked annoyed, took the bill and disappeared into the backroom. When she came back out, she reluctantly told me OK. I reached for the signed bill in front of her and she grabbed it from my hand saying she will take care of it. I asked her how, and she put her head down as if she was busy then moved onto the next customer. The hotel room is below expectation for a 4 * hotel even though location is 5 mins walk to nearest MTR station. Basically, there is nothing to shop in that vicinity. The worst thing abt this hotel is that it's located next to a casket. Overall it's expensive and not value for $$$.

Low cost compare with others in Hong Kong. Its super clean and neat . The location is 2 blocks from subway (metro) station. At arrival we have to lift our luggage and bags to a 2nd floor ourself , nobody was at main door to help to get upstairs. The personnel was not the most kind as other places we've been . The internet service is paid and not good […] at all. Little quantoty of AC outlet in the room make even more complicate to recharge batteries or connect laptop at the same time . Bed extremaly hard and low. Expensive charges for food and drinks inside the hotel.
