Fire/smoke alarm hanging loose from the ceiling, exposing wire approximately 4-5 inches. Otherwise, fine. You can't help the neighborhood and it would be convenient to St. Francis.

Good location and good service. However, my room and the entire hotel has a strong disinfectant (chemical) odor. I had to professional launder all of my clothing when I returned home. I can still smell that odor on my skin after being home two days and having showered twice. Would be a very cost-effective place to stay if it were not for the odor.

In town for Bowling Tournament and just needed a place to shower and lay our heads. The room was really clean, small bathroom. Booked thru Hotels.com and the desk did not have my confirmation had to wait about ten minutes to get it straightened out but the clerk was very nice and apologetic. Good place for the money and I would stay there again

Had a little trouble understanding the desk clerk and the bathtub in room 206 barely drained, but the breakfast was good, the room was clean. Had a pleasant stay.

Clean,quite,and across from hospital all the things i need.

if you're looking for cheap and cozy in downtown Wichita...this is it!!! But like any other downtown area...just remember...it's downtown!!! :) If you want Uptown...this is not for you! ;)

For the price, you can't find a better place to stay in downtown Wichita. The continental breakfast was really minimal, but for the price I didn't expect much more.

This was a great rate with a great motel--nice rooms and even a nice continental breakfast! Great deal. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Moderately priced. Within one block of hospital. Friendly helpful employees.

The hotel is located right next to Via Christi St. Francis hospital. So close you can walk. The hotel is just a run of the mill hotel. Nothing fancy. Located next to several fast food restaurants. I don't understand the relatively lower rating of this little hotel. I saw nothing to complain about. It was an excellent value for me. It was very clean, smelled nice, and had everything I could want in the room: coffee, microwave, fridge, good beds, free internet. I just liked it a lot. Hotel in person was nothing like the description or photos. Beds were small more like doubles not the queen sized advertised. The supposed great breakfast was a joke 4 muffins half a loaf of bread and a half pitcher of oj (and we were the first ones there at 7 am)

I have stayed at this location in the past. It is business, all I require is a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay. The Kansas Inn provided all and met all of requirements. If a family is on vacation, pool, restaurant and other trimmings, well then the Kansas Inn is not the place. Unless you are staying there for the convenience of the hospital, go some where else. Dirty rooms, no shower curtian for 2 of the 3 days we where there. Food crumbs left on shelves above the microwave the whole stay, never cleaned off. They also allow smoking rooms in the hotel which make the whole hotel stink. The breakfast bar was a joke. Nothing […] healthy offered and very limited selection. We had to go to the front desk every day and get our keys reswiped because everytime we left, we could not get back into our rooms. They never offered to do anything to compinsated for our troubles and we left with out checking out because we could not find any one. 더 보기

Very convenient location to the hospital complex. Staff was friendly and very accomodating. They warned us not to walk the neighborhood at night alone. They provide a secure shuttle to the hospital for appointments. This hotel is a good value if you need to stay in the downtown Wichita area.

Staff was friendly, helpful. Hotel was undergoing renovation, but overall stay was good. Close proximity to hospital (reason for stay), and although surrounding neighborhood a little scary, the staff offered to provide escort to/from the hospital. Not fancy, but would recommend.

I stayed at the Kansas Inn for a week while in Wichita on business. The hotel was adequate, but it would not have been worth the price without the hefty online discount available when I booked. In this case, […] you're paying for the proximity to downtown. Pluses: The timed waffle maker at the complimentary continental breakfast. I haven't used one of those since college! Only five or six blocks north of downtown. Within walking distance of Old Town, the various arenas, and the ring of fire. Via Christi Hospital is right across the street if you are visiting family there. The free wireless Internet connection worked well. Ask at the desk for the password.
