The hotel is using very old towels, TV not working

All the locks but the dead bolt were broken and it was a pretty rough neighborhood. I am a single woman and may have been scared if I didn't have my dog, tazer and .357 magnum with me. Seriously, I would not recommend this place. They also advertise free wi-fi but my room barely even got a cell phone signal let alone wi-fi. I had some work to do so […] I had to go to the office to log into the wi-fi. Lame! Room was not very clean and there was mold and mildew all around the grout/caulking in the shower. Ick. 더 보기

WE REQUESTED THE FIRST NIGHT AN EXTRA PILLOW AND A REMOTE THAT WORKED. WE NEVER RECEIVED THE PILLOW AND ON THE 2ND NIGHT FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE THE REMOTE. THE SHOWER WAS FULL OF MILDEW AND DID NOT FEEL CLEAN. THE PEOPLE STAYING AT THE HOTEL WERE VERY RUDE IN WHERE THEY LET THEIR CHILDREN RUN AROUND WITH NO SU0ERVISION AND HELD CONVERSATIONS […] SO LOUD IT WOULD HAVE WOKEN THE DEAD. 더 보기

This is a literal crackhouse with prostitutes, pimps, and drug dealers loitering around the balconies and outside the room ALL NIGHT LONG. While it made for an "interesting" stay. I CANNOT imagine how this place is still listed on hotels.com To complain about the room itself being filthy and the tv from the 80's only getting one channel (TBS).

First the room was filthy i did not want to take a shower in thT disgusting bathroom nor did i want to touch anything in the room. The heater also did not work which sucked because it was raining that night. Once i complained about the gross room they switched me to another room which was cleaner thank goodness. But, the tub did not work in fact it […] was cloggedand it also took half an hour to get into the room because the keys did not work neither did the owner's keys. This place is very dirty .... My pillows where dirty .... The whole room was dirty ..... The bottom mattres didn't even have a skirt.....I guess bottom line is u get what u pay for......I recomend spending a little more and get a goodnight sleep...

cheapest rate I found. I only needed the place to sleep, wake-up, then leave. The hotel did its job for the price charged.

We ordered room with 2beds, but when we got there they told us they all out and gave us 1, quality of the room sucked too, it smelled bed was not cleaned, and there was constent noise outside

The room was filthy. It was a "non-smoking" room with a stench of cigarettes. The walls had been drawn on by children. The carpets and mattresses were stained. Flat pillows. I really, really wanted to take a shower but the filth on the shower walls, and mold kept me out. I literelly used a wash cloth and called it good. The mold was also in the closet. […] Some serious deffered maintenence going on. I checked in after 9 pm, and got out of there by 5:30 am. There was no clock to wake me up, I think the fear of being eaten by something was bad enough. Office staff was friendly, but I wish they knew how to make the rooms less dirty. there was people outside our window all night fighting was unable to sleep comfortable i asked for a roll away bed which was not given to me i had to have one of my kids sleep on the floor and the pressure of the shower is not good our carpet was wet like someone had just shampooed it. i will not be returning here

A horrible place. dangerous with drug users and working girls. the WIFI didn't work, stinking and dirty.

I just want to let you know that this motel needs to be cleaned and be sprayed for bugs and. My whole stay in this motel is a nightmare. My kids and I were bitten with bugs the whole time. I told the front desk, that it need to be sprayed and nothing was done. They didn't have WIFI in the room but said they had it in the lobby. It didn't work when I tried to use it. Very disappointing. Bed sheets loose and messy. Mold in shower/bath stall.

I loved the price, but everything went down hill from there. The room wasn't all that bad, except for mold growing all over the tub wall. Obviously a hooker hangout. Cop there every night of our stay,Rooms are filthy. Non smoking rooms smell like smoke, Pancake thin pillows. Bathroom needs a lot of attention. Didn't makeup the room one day, had to go to office to get towels. Pool very dirty. Verynoisy all night/ Will not stay there again.

Why is this Hotel even listed on Hotels.com? I would not recomend staying here.

After having a very nice day enjoying the natural of Napa valley, I came to Heritage Inn expecting to have a good night of sleep but this night it was the most horrible night I had had in my life. Poor neighborhood, room was poor, mildew everywhere, back of toilet wrong size kept sliding off, 1 towel, noisy, towels stiff with bleach. Bed like straw, no ventilation, ac unit would not work, buttons missing on phone. Drug deals being made downstairs... Go two buildings down get a better hotel...

I have huge experience of staying in hotels, but this one was the worst - ever!!! Location is not bad, we founded it very fast, close to highway, but surrounding neighborhood looks a bit dangerous. We came to check-in at about 9 pm and nobody was on front desk and we had to wait for service outside. When we entered to our first room, there were no pillows, […] floor was not vacuumed and bath tub was dirty. I complained to front desk and we were moved to another room. We couldn't believe our eyes there. Smelly, dirty room, terrible black stains on the carpet, no towels, and (!!!) blood stains on the ceiling!!! Window had hole, looks like bullet hole. We didn't risk to stay there and immediately asked hotels.com to switch hotel for us. For the age of the hotel and in the area it is located, this isn't bad. Sure things are rough and could use replacing. But it was a bed and that's what we needed. The desk clerk was really polite and the place was quiet. That's all I asked.

The hotel was absolutely disgusting. The blankets were full of holes (partially from cigarettes burned), the bed was dirty (hairs on the mattress and dirt spots all over the pillows), the door came off the wardrobe, the bathroom was dirty (fungi on the ceiling, dust, fingerprints on the mirror, etc.), the door latch for our savety was broken off, the […] carpet and seats were full of dirt spots, the room was stiky and untidy, the pool was full of dirt and rust, .... the neighborhood is very noisy (yelling people, dog barking, noisy street) and the hotel is surrounded by rubbish (between wall of the hotel and fence e.g.). The room was really nice, the bed extremely comfortable, but the noise level was absolutely horrible! There was someone outside our room from 3:00am to 6:30am, yelling at the top of his lungs and whistleing (like for a dog, but no dog)! The rooms smelled very bad, the pillows so old and smell, the carpet was dirty and smells. was a not smoked room but smelled like cigarets. was terrible I will never stay there again or recommended for anybody.

Very poor service. I needed an electric Iron and when I asked for this in the night I checked in, the answer was they have been given to other rooms and will see in the morning. Again, I asked in the morning 8AM, the answer was to wait till check out time 11AM. Ihad to book this super last minute so we could crash for the night.... I love a good deal and shabby doesn't bother me, but this was horrific. The lobby looked decent, but when I woke up in the morning I realized their was a bullet hole in my window and what appeared to by blood on the bottom of my shower curtain.

The sign out front of the bulding should be changed to newly condemned room's instead of newly remodeled room's. When you first walked into the room it had a strong smell of cat or dog. The room was not very clean we had to change our own linen off the bed's. The phone didn't work in the room so w had to walk down and asked to be changed to another […] room however the other room's they offered were just as bad. Some of the other room's had broken windows with wood up to them or duck tape. Because of the very busy night life of at the hotel the first night we checked in we didn't get no sleep. However the staff was really friendly and helpful as they could be and very apologentic as they could be for the poor conndition of the rooms and the activities. I would not recommend for anyone to stay there if they are looking to sleep at night and have a fear of being in a not so good neighborhood. 더 보기

Very Very Basic

When we walked into the room, we were surprised it was as nice as it was. It was very spacious and convienently located. However, after we showered, there was a little water standing for some reason. We looked past it and said it happens. We were a little more upset when we got up in the night to go potty and there was more standing water in the restroom. […] We still looked past it, but did let the receptionist know and was very sorry. For the price it's a good hotel. My only complaint was that the only lights that worked in my room was the bathroom area-not considered a big deal. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. I wouldn't stay in the hotel alone, some of the people staying there are sketchy. Overall good stay.

This hotel is the worst hotel ever. There are hoodlums that live here that do drugs all nite, they smoke and just run rampid up and down banging on the hotel doors. I hated it and did not sleep one bit. Spend the extra money somewhere a little more safe. This hotel should come off of the list of the hotels to stay. Its horrible.

Run as fast as you can from this hotel. At check in receptionist was trying to get a extra twenty bucks from me. Two hours later There was an agreement between hotel guests about someone stealing her money. Then to top it off five police officers with shoot rifles and guns bang on a guest door next time in pursuit of suspect. Upon first look it's quite impressive,3 floors, elevator, huge swimming pool, large parking lot, large rooms, covered outdoor after hours check-in window. the draw backs are, the elevator was filthy with the stench of urine and cigarette butts on the floor, the swimming pool was green, the parking lot appeared to be a local hang out, the room had a […] broken A/C and No heater cigarette holes in the black out drapes, broken shower drape, no clock and i received 4 Dr. confirmed Bed Bug Bites on my leg. the total stay was the least expensive out of all the choices but then again I was reminded of the old saying, "You get what you paid for" 더 보기

Fist thing I observed as i pulled into the car park was two pregnant teens loitering, there are signs 'we are not responsible for vandalism etc all over the shop, the staff were friendly enough though you had to deal through a perspex screen, the room had a hint of wet dog and cigarettes, the carpet was lumpy, there were holes in the plasterboard. This place gave the impression of having been built in the eighties and never having been properly maintained, the heats/ac in the room looked like somebody had stolen half of it and we heard a siren about every half hour through the night, lots of traffic noise also. The place was basically ok, we just needed a bed for the night and the price was right -though I wouldn't want to stay there two nights, if I was desperate I might use it again, also fairly handy with San Francisco and easy to get to, though you could easily miss it, the location shown on google maps is wrong, we used street view so we knew what to expect when we came off the freeway - we might have missed it otherways. 더 보기

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! DON'T EXPECT MUCH! If you have to go to the Oakland area and do not have very much money for a hotel this is your place. It is only a good place to stay if you have to stay at a hotel and don't have the money! They do accept dogs under 50 lbs! - With a small fee.
