Silver Cloud Inn University - 시애틀

The hotel staff were most gracious and friendly. We had 2 issues of our own making (couldn't figure out the TV & plugged toilet). The friendly maintenance staff was immediatley dispatched to help us.

This was my first trip to Seattle and my time was limited. The staff was so helpful and accomodating after I shared my goals for my trip. They helped me put together an agenda to help me maximize the time I had there. They personally made the calls and contacts for me and helped to arrange and provide for transportation. Their own shuttle service was […] extremely helpful. I felt so well taken care of! My first experience in discovering and enjoying Seattle was definitely enhanced by their efforts. Great hotel - will always stay here.

Arrived in the rain, late. 2 police cruiser were out front with their engines running. Turns out they were getting coffee. Comfortable room, good beds. Quiet and cool. Breakfast was good. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. The location is walking distance to UW. Parking was ok, but very full.

I was having a costmetic skin procedure at a clinic 1/2 mile away and the hotel had a free shuttle service that met my needs completely, no extra expense for a taxi. I loved being within walking distance to the shops and restaurants right in U Village. The stay was great and an added bonus of a good breakfast-free. Staff was friendly and helpful. We spent one night, and it was very comfortable. The location was very convenient for us; it was a quick walk to the University Village. The breakfast buffet was a full breakfast but unimaginative and unremarkable. The dining area was far too crowded; it took us several minutes to find a table. Overall, it was a nice place.

There was absolutely nothing about the stay at the Silver Cloud Inn in Seattle which I found fault with..nothing ! Each person we spoke with or needed answers from did their very best to provide information which is expected, however, to do it with a genuine smile and concern as if we'd been friends for a long while was amazing. Call backs were made […] when responses could not immediately be given , staff members came to the room knocking and apologizing for interrupting to check on or follow up with what we'd asked about and the facility itself was treated as if each employee actually resided in not worked at the facility. The location close to a fantastic University Mall as well as the University of Washington and access to major roads and transportation made the ventures we made quite simple and returns to the Silver Cloud even simpler. Parking was convenient as well and there was never a concern for comings and goings during our stay. The pool area was very well maintained and inviting and was taken advantage of many times because of the convenient location. All aspects of the breakfast availability were of such a quality that, again, it was as if the preparations had been made for family members and friends, not passing travelers soon to be dismissed. Servers and prep staff went out of their way to provide for a pleasant start to our days in and around Seattle to be sure. Having taught and coached at the high school level for over three decades, I'd come to realize that far more people complain as opposed to taking the time to compliment . As such, I would be remiss if I did not pat the employees and staff at the Silver Cloud for having done an outstanding job. What makes it even better is the knowledge that they'll have thought what they'd done was "no big deal"...that made the stay special. Congratulations and I look forward to the next stay there. Ps. THe hotel had great service and the location next to the University Village and UW was great. We appreciated the shuttle service back and forth to the University for the sessions we needed to attend.

We stayed at this hotel on the way home from Spokane (broke up the trip nicely!). Loved the crispness of the sheets, but especially loved that University Village was one block away!

The hotel was clean, the service at the front desk was efficient and the location was convenient for going to the U District. Didn't feel like fighting the huge crowd at the free breakfast so can't comment on that. But the massive number of people lined up seems like a good sign.

This hotel exceeded my expectation. Location is great: shops next door, close to the beautiful campus of UW, easy to get to, centralized to all location that I needed to be. Rooms are very clean. Staff is very helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

The Gilman bicycle trail passes right next to the hotel, with a bike rental shop a block away. This made for a nice day-off activity. Also, good restaurants within walking distance. Nice location not far from U Washington. And the hotel had nice amenities, great breakfast buffet included.

Great location to visit the University of Washington. The service was professional (responsive and courteous) and the amenities were very good (clean and well maintained). Breakfast was high quality with good variety but the breakfast room was a bit congested with people. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

We were fortunate to have stayed at the Silver Cloud Inn University on a Tuesday night and enjoyed the lovely complimentary Happy Hour. Staff was so helpful and took our family to and from the U of W waterfront. Location could not be better!

This hotel was excellent in just about every way. Sure it's no 4 Seasons or Pan Pacific, but when staying in Seattle, you can't beat this place - free parking, free wifi, and a big free breakfast! Not to mention a free shuttle to anywhere within three miles from the hotel (so we also saved cab fare)...very clean, very friendly staff and lovely great […] big bed! Located right next to the University Village shopping centre, there's a 24-hour grocery store, and one of the best cupcake shops in the Pacific Northwest (Trophy)...the neighbour hood was nice, too - we walked back to the hotel in the middle of the night along the Ave and felt very safe. Absolutely would stay here again should there be another event to attend at the Neptune! Highly recommend this place! 더 보기

Stayed here while family was in Seattle Children's Hospital. the staff was friendly and helpful and room was quiet, comfortableand convenient to the hospital

This hotel is a great property and the rooms are very clean, if a little dated. The rooms are pretty big but the bathrooms are very small and the fixture that have to be used are mini to fit in the bathroom. The reason that we chose this property was for the shuttle to Childrens Hospital. While the hotel was very good at getting us there, they NEVER […] had less than an hour wait to pick us up. This is completely unacceptable. If the shuttle is the deciding factor for booking this hotel stay somewhere else. If the shuttle is not a concern, stay here. Taking out the shuttle factor it was a very nice hotle with clean rooms and a friendly staff. 더 보기

The Silver cloud-University is a great location right next to University Village with great shopping and very near the University of Washington. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The Silver Cloud is a fine hotel. The beds were very comfortable. This is a very important point. The continental breakfast was good, but the space was crowded and difficult to maneuver in. The room looked a bit dated and the view was basically of the parking area. Parking was easy, but access to the inside was limited and central. The maid service […] often clogged up the halls with their carts. There was a huge flat screen tv in the room, but we didn't turn it on. The hotel is next to an entrance to the Burke-Gilman trail. A big plus. It's very close to University Village shopping center, which is a very good shopping center. It's an uphill hike to the University of Washington. They appear to have a shuttle. The front staff was OK. My only complaint there is that when we arrived there were four employees talking among themselves behind the desk and they waited to finish their conversation for one to come up and greet us. Check-in and check-out were easy. The cost was not quite value for money, but that was in large part because of a hefty Seattle hotel tax. 더 보기

However, when I first contacted the hotel to enquire about shuttles, I was told there was no transportation available to be transported from the airport to the hotel. And, I made arrangements to take the only transportation offered for return on Thursday to the airport. The cost was about twice the cost of […] taking the Shuttle Express. I was not advised about the Express. By luck I was in the lobby when an Express van arrived. Maybe I was not clear as to what I needed, but feel that all options should have been explained. 더 보기

The location makes it easy to get to Sandpoint but the rates are really high. The facility is starting to look a little dated but clean.

The ice machine was right outside our door and at six AM someone from the staff was loading up alot of ice and it was very noisey! I think it was for the breakfast...they should have their own ice machine. The pillows were not very soft. Otherwise i loved the stay!!

I was delighted with Silver Cloud University! The room was attractive, very quiet and the bed was like sleeping on a "cloud." I loved the surrounding area. We walked to shopping, restaurants and even the Farmer's Market. The complimentary breakfast was perfect (24 hour delicious coffee and fruit, too) and the shuttle bus was great!! I've stayed at this hotel many times, and it's always met my standards. It's always clean, comfortable, quiet and in a safe & fun neighborhood. It's also very conveniently located near Seattle Children's hospital with a shuttle service that get's us to her appt's quickly. I also appreciate check out @ 12:00 noon. The service was fantastic. The room was short on towels but a front desk person brought some right up. The only down side of this entire hotel is that the toilets were so low one felt like you were in nursery school. I am 60 years old and my knees are not good. I hate to say it but the height of the toilet was a big blot on our stay.

Nothing mind-blowing, but the room was spacious and made up for the average bed. Don't stay on the ground floor, it reeks of mildew. But the top floor was fine. Also nice to be able to walk to the campus. I liked the Silver Cloud downtown better though.

We love staying here. Whether we are going to the UW games or just enjoying the area. Love the U Village shopping Center.
