Enjoyed my stay. Sauna could be bigger.

Conveniently located close to airport and just meters away from Tram station. The whole setup is a bit sterile but not unpleasant. Breakfast cost is a bit steep.

Hotel is pretty good with free wifi and extra beds but surprised to learn that breakfast not included and had to pay for that. Similarly you need to pay additionally for citi tax

it takes 5min. to the airport by tram. the hotel is clean, comfort and silent.

I traveled to the the Novotel Zurich Airport over the weekend in a group of 10. On arrival we were all made too put a 200chf "Block" on our cards for every room, we were informed that this block would be removed at checkout and that it would not be removed from our accounts. At checkout we were again assured that the money would be returned to our accounts. […] It is now four days later and we have not had our money returned thus there is 1000chf sitting in limbo. Having emailed the hotel with no reply I advise anyone looking to stay at a hotel near Zurich airport to avoid the Novotel. Many of the other members of our group had booked other airport hotels and were not forced to pay this fee. 더 보기

Lovely hotel, staff really great, rooms are lovely. Only disappointment was no free airport shuttle HOWEVER the taxi service if booked through hotel was a good rate and ended up no more cost as Novotel was cheaper than surrounding airport hotels of same class. Easy access to Zurich Centre by tram (no. 10) which is right outside hotel and you can buy […] a 24 hour tram pass on which you can take as many journeys as you like. Watch out on tram 10 when leaving Zurich city make sure you get the one marked for airport (flugenhafen) as odd ones go on another route, thanks to the number 10 tram driver who saved us! 더 보기

Not particularly close to the airport but easily accessible via tram #10 for less than 3 SF pp, stops almost at the front door of the hotel. Five stops/8 min. Good quality room, comfortable bed.

We spent 5 days in Novotel Messe in Zurich. Family with older kids. One room is a bit small for four, but we didn't spend much time in the room. Breakfast is the same every morning but good variety and definitely enough. Very convinient with public transport. Overall would recomend it with breakfast especially we had good price.

Very friendly staff. Nice hotel right next to tram line so you can get anywhere.

Perfect location, direct tram access to airport (9 minutes) as well as same tram to downtown. Hotel (ARCOR) very nice rooms and great price

This hotel beat our expectations. Hotel is beautiful. Breafast is great. Room is spacious. We enjoyed our stay, and definitely recommend others. We had car, so for us it was perfect location.

Lady at the reception was impatient and not helpful at all! What a waste in the midst of a physically appealing rooms n hotels ! Quite convenient with tram 10 or 12 to the airport.

I have been to Switzerland many times, but never before I was able to book a room for 2 adults & 2 children for such a price ! Novotel Zurich Airport Messe is located only 4 tram stations away from Zurich airport ( about 7 mins ). Very convenient to get to airport or Zurich city centre by tram. Kettle is provided in the room, sofa bed is big enough […] for two. Great for family stay. Better still, get a Zurich card and save much more on transport & museum visits in Zurich ! 더 보기

I booked into the Novotel due to their stellar names in the travel industry. Boy, was I wrong!! I thought I had booked the wrong hotel when I arrived. The reception area looks like an institution, devoid of charm and style. It looked like you are checking into a hospital, albeit one that looked like it needed a good cleaning. I did not mind the way […] how the reception area looked as long as the room is clean and comfortable. Well.....on the way up to the room, I noticed that the carpet in the hallway has not been in contact with a vacuum for a while. This was starting to distress me as I hoped that maybe the room would be at clean. When I opened the door, I was met with a huge, ugly and "in your face" type of stain on the carpet. Looks like someone had stepped on the carpet with wet dirt on their boots, then grinded in the dirt, spilled coke on it, grinded in some more, then poured on some coffee, tea, some more dirt etc..... I have not seen such a HUGE dirty area on a rug even in a three star hotel before. This one takes the cake. I did not want to walk around barefoot, so I put on my socks. I was right next to the closet in the hallway, so you see it everytime you went to the bathroom. It's not a pretty sight. The hotel was not busy at all as the parking lot was empty and there was no one there. You would think that if a hotel room had such a bad carpet stain, they would put a guest that came through Hotels.com in a nicer room so that they can give them a good rating. The sink in the bathroom was not much better either. The sink had some mold near the drain. We were just happy to stay for the one night as we had to catch an early flight and leave the hotel. The personel at the front desk were average in their job. I don't know how they got a 4 star hotel rating. They should be a 2 star. All in all, I would never stay at this hotel again and would re-consider booking into a Novotel Hotel in the future. 더 보기

The hotel front was kind and the breakfast was wonderful. Only the lack of the maintenance was for the training machines (running and bikes), 4 of which only the running machine was with power and we asked hotel person, who took a look, so hope it would be good condition next time.

Very expensive like everything else in Zurich... we had not been advised by the city tax for everthing...

My stay was very good. The room was very clean and there were no bedbugs. The front desk personnel were very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the tram line. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed for one night and was very pleased with the hotel. The cost of parking was a little pricey, but the hotel was quite modern, and very clean. Also, the shower was a little weird (it was hard not to spill water outside the tub). But other than those minor details, I had a very comfortable stay. The five minute train to the airport leaves directly […] outside the hotel so super convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay near the airport for whatever reason. Very good hotel close to the airport and right next to a tram station. About 25 mins away from Zurich city center. Very nice, clean rooms, reasonable size by European standards. Exceptional breakfast. Try to get a rate that includes breakfast as the add on surcharge for breakfast is pretty steep at CHF28.

Novotel Zurich is a good ultra modern hotel. Front desk particularly courteous. But not an airport hotel. Also make sure you have Euros or franks otherwise changing currency may be an ordeal.

I was pleased with the convenient location, excellent breakfast buffet, attentive staff, and larger than normal hotel rooms (for European hotels). It is conveniently situated just steps from a tram stop just a few minutes from the airport. I stayed for 5 days, and made daily trips into Zurich and neighboring cites.

It is a good hotel, but with crowded reception, and absence of transport buses to and from airport (as unlike other hotels in the area). Restaurant closes at 10.00 pm, and could be difficult to get meals late at night.

I will not recommend any one for using this hotel as there are lot of hidden charges including, If you watch a movie in the TV which they provided you will end up paying lot of money.

Only hook up wi fi connections were available in room. This didn't work at all with a smart phone. You had to pay for wireless connection..........until I sent my 23year old son down to the front desk ( hmmm, the desk clerk was a cute young lady around the same age) and he came back with a card for complimentary wifi in room! A good clean modern hotel conveniently located close to the airport and with very easy tram links to the city centre (25 minutes). However, I would recommend the hotel management address the following 3 issues: Firstly, reception staff wrongly prioritize answering the phone rather than dealing with customers waiting to check in or out. Secondly, 30 […] Swiss francs (24 euros) is excessive for breakfast, I would recommend instead the French breakfast served in the Lounge at 9 francs (7.45 euros). Finally, it’s always disappointing when guests of a hotel have to pay to park in a near empty car park, surely this cost can be waived for guests of the hotel? Good place although the air conditioner didn't work as by them April is still considered winters. Location was great .

This is very convenietly located from Airport and also close to tram station, thus providing easy access to train station. It has free locker facility to store you luguage while you want to check out early and go around the city before catching flights later in a day. Excellent experience and I would highly recommend.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is very quiet despite being close to the airport. Meals must be secured at the hotel restaurant since there are no restaurants near this hotel. I had an 8 AM flight to the states so arrived here 10 PM the night before and got a good night sleep. It was perfect for that. Very nice property.

We checked in and found out that parking was 20₣ per night and there were NO restaurants or cafes nearby. We ate in the hotel restaurant, which was staffed by ONE person. Dinner took 3 hours and was very expensive. It took an hour to get two salads. When we asked for the check the waiter was rude about it. (They cornered the market in that neighborhood, […] so it didn't matter to them.) Our bathroom had gunk along the edges of the shower glass, and the bedskirt was stained. There was no topsheet on the bed, just a duvet. We found out that breakfast cost 56₣ ... only after we ate it. The clerk neglected to mention that it's not included, and it's certainly not worth that much money. In all, this hotel costs more than twice what you think it will! For this much money I could've stayed at the Renaissance just up the street. 더 보기

This was a good visit. Please factor in city tax that is separate and additional. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and recommended great day trips from Zurich. My biggest concern was that we prepaid our hotel and they asked us for a deposit equal to the amount we had already paid to cover mini-bar and pay per view charges. After negotiating […] we were able to have them reduce the deposit amount by 80%. Still this was a huge inconvenience and we were lucky to have it resolved. Please check regarding any deposits before you book. The tram was so convenient and was right outside the hotel's front door. Overall, an excellent choice. Superbly convenient. The trolley line is right outside the hotel and offers frequent, rapid transport to the airport or into town. The hotel was quite new and well maintained. But alas, nothing is perfect and I will note two small imperfections: the hot-water heater in my room (for coffee or tea) still contained the prior […] resident's water. It should have been emptied, cleaned, and dried. Second, in one corner of the bath was some unremediated mildew. The neighborhood is rather "sterile", an area of corporate office buildings. reasonable price for a room for 3 plus an infant. well connected to the city centre by a straight tram line. the negative points: 1)Ladies at the front desk were unfriendly. 2) baby cot did not have a proper mattress.
