Hotel was run down. They had put down fresh wood chips that smelled like manure. Horrible place

Check in is 3:00, we had book a king suite, I was told that I had book a queen suite and I would have to pay more. Good thing I had my reciept which showed a king. We still had to wait another 30 mintues for the room to be cleaned. We asked to talk with a manager after 20 mintues of waiting for the manager we told her we will come back. Once we did […] talk with a manager we ask to stay longer since the room was not ready, he said we could stay another 30 mintues OH BOY!!! Based on pass reviews the hot tub has not worked for a couple of months, but they acted as tho it just happened. 더 보기

The staff was very friendly and accomodating throughout our one-night stay. No loud or disruptive neighbors. The bed seemed a little tough. We were bummed to see that the hot tub was not working. Breakfast was plentiful the next morning, and I loved that they have waffle makers! Overall, a decent stay.

Overall the hotel was great. The room was quiet. There were not many bookings so I wish I could have had a room on a lower level. The breakfast could have had a better variety of food.

Stayed there. Was a little disapointed with no flat screen TV and the hot tub was out of order. The desk person was very nice and the place was quiet and clean. Just thought it would have more updates. Would not pay more for this hotel.

Not a "great" hotel, but certainly more than adequate. No problems, I just don't hand out "5's" very often.

Hot tub was not working for the two days we were there. I did not look like they were attempting to fix it. The last day we had cold showers because the faucet was loose .

This Hotel was in Gurnee, IL. Comfort Inn & Suites. There was a very friendly hotel staff, but I had a bad nights sleep. People were up and down the halls all night slamming doors and outside talking and laughing very loud. I would not stay at this Hotel again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Could not have been more disappointed! Upon entering the lobby, the staff was NOT friendly, water was all over the lobby floor and elevator, the hot tub was closed for service. We awoke the next morning to NO hot water. We went to the free breakfast an hour after opening with 2 hours to go and found everything empty. The hot water and lack of food was […] addressed by staff with no apology and these problems were not solved before we check out! We stayed here during spring break, while cleaning out my mom's basement. Loved having a fridge in the room, and breakfast In the morning. Two teenage boys could get a good start to the morning. Pub and icecream store were also in walking distance - what else could you want?!? ;-) Staff was helpful and accommodating, finding adjoining rooms for us. […] Would stay there again when in the area. 더 보기

This was a very nice hotel. The room was beautiful. The breakfast area and the breakfast were excellent.

Our stay was great. We stayed last year also. One girl is on oxygen at night and they were very helpful with that. See you again next year.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Price was great.

Hotel was in a perfect location and our rooms were very clean. We ate breakfast later in the morning and food counter was dirty and items weren't kept filled. Such as hot food, milk, juice, and condiments. Only other thing is the hot tub was out of service in the pool area. That is the one reason we didn't pick the Best Western located right next door. […] Because the Best Western disclosed this info and the Country Inn and Suites did not. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is very close to the outlet mall.

We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Gurnee, Illinois. It was clean, comfortable, and inviting. The staff was very professional and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very good - fresh, hot food and alot to choose from. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood close to shopping and many restaurants. We were in Gurnee to hit the outlet mall before heading to downtown Chicago. Nice hotel, very clean, nice free breakfast (hot eggs, variety of cereal, make-your-own waffle, etc.). If you have time, stop by The Shanty which is a 10-minute drive to Wadsworth basically on the other side of the mall. Restaurant featured on Food Network, known for their […] seafood, good prices ($17 average pp). Timothy O'Toole's pub is walking distance (about 1 block through the connected parking lots) which is good family sports-bar type restaurant. Hot Dawg joint steps from the front door. Would definately stay again. Only took about 30-minutes to get to downtown Chicago on Saturday morning. 더 보기

We always stay at A Country Inn and Suites when ever possible.Have never been disappointed. This week was the first time we have ever traveled with our pet. I did not know that their was an additional charge that was non refundable for having a pet. The only issue needs to improve is the heater equipment is quite old and noisy, over all, excellente hotel for the price I payid.

Hotel was clean and in a good location. Hotel claimed to have a fitness center which when we got there found out that you had to drive to an offsite location. Beds were none to comfortable. Overall an okay experience but will look at another hotel if we find ourselves back in that area again.

New, lovely hotel close to the mall, walk to Rosati's next door and a quick ride to Six Flags or 94. The owner is so friendly and the breakfast is delicious with many choices. Would love to stay there again

This hotel was close to all the places we planned on going. It also was clean, friendly staff and large rooms. For sure we will stay again when we visit the area!!!

Had a wonderful stay. Hot was extremely hot on second day but better than too cold. Pool was perfect & clean! Great location & very friendly staff!!

Only a few minutes from Great Lakes and the Navy Boot Camp Training Ctr. We were able to avoid all traffic to and from the base. The restaurants in the area are an easy distance from the hotel. Enjoyed the Irish Pub on top of the hill (walked). Once we arrived we learned that we were able to stay an extra or day or two and the Manager honored the […] internet rate on separate billing (easy). We stayed over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, while visiting our grandson at the Navy Training Base. The location was convenient, right off the interstate and only 15 minutes from the Navy Base. We found the customer service to be exceptional from the front desk to cleaning staff to breakfast staff. We also thought the rooms were exceptionally clean, […] which is extremely important to me. Excellent hotel for the price.

Front desk staff was not really friendly. The key card to gain access to the lobby after 11 opm did not work and I had to bang on the door to get the night desk clerk to open. The pool was nasty. When we asked for extra tools at the front desk the clerk seemed bothered that he had to go get some. Friendly staff, Hotel was a short distance from Gurnee Mills shopping. Room was as promised. I would definetly stay in the future!

This hotel is not bad for the price .The Breakfast left something to be desired, but the location is great especially if you are going to Navy PIR. It is only 7 miles from the base and there is just about any kind of food and shopping within a few minutes of the hotel.

Just across the toll-road from Gurnee Mills, convenient to Great America, lots of restaurants just minutes away. Nice pool and little jacuzzi. Would stay again.
